This is a well-organized book full of great information. It's easy to skim through it and and get an idea of basic design theory for high speed circuits. It's also pretty easy to dig in deeper and use the book to help diagnose problems in circuits.

There is some interesting information in this book, but it's usage of imperial units is highly annoying.

High Speed Digital Design is a mandatory book for all high speed PCB layout. It has all the relevant formulas in one place and they are explained with great clarity. There are several great examples that show the reader how to apply the science. I have had this book for 20 years and i still use it often.

I refer to this book frequently. Johnson provides good explanations of a lot of topics that most EEs consider "voodoo," as well as guidelines for avoiding and dealing with them.
