Elizabeth knows how to get what she wants .Being a Strong , Independent Business Woman and what she wants is her Colleague Nate, but certain obstacles have gotten in her way and that is making it hard for her to guard her heart.
Nate's marriage is crumbling down around him .He is trying to hold on for his kids , but that thread is wearing thin , because of his Whiny , distant wife and his increasing Erotic Fantasies about his Control Freak of a Boss.
Will the Tension between these two build until they beg to be Tangled up in the sheets or could Complications from their pasts arise to separate them forever??
This was a steamy read about Yearning for something or Someone that is just out of your reach.
I loved that the author made Elizabeth a strong woman , but also managed to show how very vulnerable she actually was .
The same with Nate and his family issues , that was just borderline Heartbreaking to read.
OMG...I HATE his Wife ...who does that sort of thing to their kids , let alone their Husband !!
The Snarky attitudes and sexual Tension between these two very Dominant characters are filled with lots of complex emotions that I Loved , but I also wanted more storyline .

Nate despises Elizabeth Barron...making him want something he'll never have. it's been 5 years since Nate last saw her... and she still makes him want her.
She's the senior advertising agent at the firm Nate works at...she wields power and control in all she does. Elizabeth holds her position above Nate by a small margin, but only because she stole his promotion from out from under him five years ago. And even though he admires her, he was taking her out at the first sign of her weakness...no questions asked!
He's married with kids and he'd do anything for his kids. Including staying in a loveless marriage to a princess turned wicked witch. But that doesn't stop Nate from lusting after Elizabeth.
During a presentation Elizabeth asks 'What emotions does sex bubble up inside you?". Nate doesn't hesitate to respond 'Fulfillment. Acceptance. Power.' Yes Nate. ..Power! But when he goes against her in that meeting...a sexually charged battle between them ensues. The passion between them is evident.
She has him full on lusting after her with the power she exudes. He was far beyond addicted to that power she holds over him, despite hating it. She leaves him scrambling in his lust filled purgatory, enough to make him want to give her the baton of dominance over him and do what she will to him. Little does she know that his loveless marriage is a sexless one which leaves him primed to making the biggest mistake of his life...her. He can't remember wanting anything more desperately than Elizabeth ...on her knees that is.
Elizabeth finds Nate attractive but she doesn't do drama, which is why she's single. She finds most men plain and dull and despite Nate being scrumptious...he's married. She knows everyone is intimidated by her, but that's how she wants it, as it's the only way to get anything done! What Nate doesn't realize is the power he holds over Elizabeth. She fantasizes about Nate more than she cares to admit and holds all other men to him. All Elizabeth wants is for a man to yank the power away from her. And she thinks that man is Nate.
A quick and steamy read full of sexual tension and sparring banter at it’s finest. I can’t wait for the full series to see what happens next!

Wow! This is sizzling hot with a most wonderful story. I love it. I love how Nate says he would have never cheated on his wife, because even if she was a horrible wife, she was his. He is not only sexy, hot, and gifted in the package department, but he has integrity, and don't forget that he is also a great daddy. Elizabeth is a powerful lady at work, and is even called a bitch by others, as well as herself, but underneath that is lots of hurt and emotions. When they finally get together, it sizzles. Once I started this book, I did not want to put it down. It earns a 5+ from me. I received this book from the author in return for an honest review, and honestly it is a book I highly recommend, if you like a well written story of love that has great characters and is extremely hot and steamy.

How would you describe power? This book has Elizabeth showing what power can mean in many ways. While Nathaniel watches his boss exude it on clients and other people who work with them at the ad agency. However, can power be something she uses as a mask? New author to keep an eye out for. Do you want your books to be simmering hot and steamy? Then this is the book for you! This beginning promises that and a lot more. Can't wait to read more about Lizzy and Nate. And Nates wife is a total ......

This is a fantastic, steamy, and sexy book. Nate and Lizzy's story is a must read, and I could not put it down. I highly recommend this book, I cannot wait to read more. Zoe Reid is a fantastic author, she is an amazing story teller, and I cannot put down her books.

Power - Full series by Zoe Reid is a great short read. It has you turning the page to see who is going to end up on top next. Although a short story nothing is missed.

Wow! That was beyond hot! Because of the emotions detailed in this story, it gave this book so much more depth than the normal erotica read. Loved it!!

Great book!!! Got me hooked from the start. Couldn't put it down! Definitely a great short read!
