To be a series on Goodreads, books need to have more than a common theme -- instead sharing characters, an overarching storyline, a shared universe, etc. Is it the case here? Otherwise we can make it a list :)
Just saying, if this really wanted to plumb the depths of student housing... I've got some stories for you! These places... um, veritable mansions of wonder. Just sink stories I could say! Ugh. So mainly the star rating is totally based on this not being as gross as my own experiences...
I laughed out loud again as this issue reminded me of the first time my roomie and I went apartment shopping... trying to adult is never simple but apartment shopping is probably the worst I've dealt with yet.
I felt like all three of them at different times yet again.
"Nice, middle-class people have seen us being degenerate! Word is going to get around!" "Students appear to the public as a homogenous mass of idiots for a reason. It's a survival mechanism!"
Made me stay up late snickering quietly to myself as to avoid bothering any neighbors. Great discussion of what it means to be an adult, as well as over-the-top reactions that made me laugh.
A funny look at the perils of student house searching, even if some options were the extreme. Also nice to see Daisy lose it at the unpreparedness of the other two like she should!
