Daisy has to draw on new reserves of inner strength after she loses control of a party of prospective students on an open day, while the "lonely, unlovable spinster" Susan tries dating again with disastrous results.
I can't help but to keep laughing along with this series as I'm in a similar situation as Susan this time around. Girl, dating is not easy and I feel for her. Boy do I feel for her!
Esther: "First the music industry gave all the music in the world away on bittorrent, now labor is free. It´s cool that we were there when the gates of capitalism fell." Daisy: "Esther, you have a very worrying understanding of "events"."
Oh God, let the miserable affaire that is Ingrid beginn... :-( Least favorite story line hands down. Not looking forward to reading that never ending story again.
Ed Gemmel is every girls dream friend. I just love seeing him get more panel time. He is the warmest thing about this series! Apart from his appearance I found myself a little bored by this one, side from the ending which was a massive blow as well.
I am happy for Daisy, even if she might be a bit traumatized after helping out that tour group.... Makes me very interested in what second year will be like!
Susan's inner dialogue during her dates was equally entertaining and I liked how the trio all came together at the end. Great issue.
"Giant Days" is always awesome, but seeing my three favorite uni-students growing is one of my favorite things about it. Confession time: I totally pouted at the misfortune that happens toward the end of this issue. That's how much it makes me feel.
THis was a bitter sweet delight. Mcgraw, how could you! 'first the music industry gave all the music in the world away on Bittorrent, now labor is free too. It's cool that we were there when gates of capitalism fell.' Also, oh ester, I love your sense of reality.
