It took me a long time to forgive Hawke-a very long time. But now that I have, I feel nothing but unbridled joy. Everything is exactly as it should have been two years ago. He's just what I need, and not just now, but forever. Until disaster strikes. We promised each other forever, but will Hawke honor that promise when his world comes crumbling down? When the ground cracks below his feet, will we still stand? Or will we fall?

Wednesday felt less its own book and more of a combination of book one and two. In book one we have Frankie and Hawke just being friends because Hawke doesn’t do relationships. Fine, he was honest with Frankie from the beginning. But why become friends with her when you know she has feelings for you? And Frankie why would agree to become friends with him when you know he is not going to change his lifestyle and that will hurt you? Hawke finally sees the light and realizes that he wants to be with Frankie so he can leave her at the end of the book.
In the second book, they come together for their best friends wedding (after not seeing and talking to each other for 2 years) and they become friends once again. And once again, he sees the light and he realizes what a big mistake he makes by leaving the heroine and wants her back. And that’s not even the most frustrating part. The most annoying and frustrating part is Frankie telling you throughout the entire book that even though they are soul mates they will never get back together. Why? Because he hurt her so much the first time he left that she can’t go through that again. And she decides to give a second chance because he promises to not leave again. Okay, that was book 2.
In the third book we the hero, his mother is killed by his father and he decides to break up with Frankie once again. Using the same bullshit excuse he used to break up the first time. Most of the book was on Frankie and Kyle. I felt so sorry for Kyle in this book. He was in book two but Frankie was very honest with him that they can never be more than fuck buddies. But in Wednesday, she led him on to just break up with him and be with Hawke. Really? Hawke broke his promise two times and you told us again that you will never get together with him ever again. And what do you do? You accept him the third time. No, you are a doormat. He hurts you emotionally and mentally and you are still nice to him. You are there for him like he didn’t do anything to you. What kind of example are you setting? You made excuses when he tried to control who you could talk to and be friends with. Sorry, when he controlled who you can talk to. And then you apologized to him! For what? I don’t know but she said sorry to him. You made excuses for his violent nature. Okay, I'm officially done. I really want to read Kyle’s books but I am not going to because I don’t want to read about him hurting in any way.
Just to clear somethings up. I did not like this last book because of this book. I had some issues with the first two books but this book was so unnecessary. The drama was so unnecessary.

This book, heck, this series was very emotional! The story of Francesca and Hawke had my emotions all over the place. I loved them, I hated them, I loved them again.
Hawke is a man that had such a hard time coming to terms with himself. He was emotionally and physically abused as a child. He got out as soon as he turned 18 but he never really got free. His mom stayed with his abusive father, calling on Hawke to rescue her every time it got bad but refused to leave. I can't even imagine what torment that would put on a person. It explained so much of Hawkes behavior but I still had such a hard time with how he treated Francesca when he pushed her away.
Francesca wasn't innocent of tragedy in her life either. Her mom died of cancer and her father committed suicide after losing his wife. The fact that Hawke added to her emotional turmoil was very hard for me but I also saw the love that they held was unbreakable. When they were good, they were exceptional.
Then add in Kyle. Man do I feel so bad for Kyle. He fell in love with Francesca when she and Hawke were not together. I don't blame Francesca. She thought things were truly over with Hawke and she tried to move on but her love for Hawke was so much stronger. I'm so glad to see there is a book dedicated to Kyle because if anyone deserves a happily every after, it's that guy.
I'm truly impressed with the author's ability to put me through the ringer on this story. As much as I want to say I only want to read light and fluffy reads, it's stories like this that can prove me wrong.
This is the third book in a series I started for the last e-book review post I did. Book 2, Tuesday, left on a pretty good note. This one takes us back down on the roller coaster of the relationship, but in the end it worked out pretty well. I was a little disappointed that there didn't seem to be as many steamy bits in this one, like since they were together we didn't need to read that? But that is part of what I'd enjoyed with these, so that was one negative.
This is the third book in the series and definitely not my favorite. I doubt I will continue on. They weren’t even together until the end of the book and then it felt rushed. Most of this book was the h with another love interest which by the way was a great guy.

My ‘Blogging Reader’s Review’ after reading an ARC Copy of ‘WEDNESDAY’(via: BooksMoviesFandoms.wordpress.com):
***WARNING: Possible SPOILERS if you haven’t read the previous Novel of the Timeless Series.***
This is the third novel of the moving Timeless Series titled “Wednesday” by author E. L. Todd. The unpredictable relationship between the two main characters, Hawke and Francesca, stirs raw emotional moments and a story-line with uncertain twists-and-turns. This book is of the New Adult genre as well as a Contemporary Romance. Wednesday is written in the two main character’s P.O.V.’s(point of views) Francesca “Frankie” and Theodore “Hawke”.
Now that Frankie and Hawke have reunited and rekindled their unyielding love for each other once again, everything should be happy, exciting, and blissful. Unfortunately, when reality hits, it hits them hard. Hawke’s dark past comes to a head, spinning his entire life out of control while bringing his anger to the forefront.
Hawke has lost sight of who was trying hard to get passed. All he feels is the anger that has overwhelmingly taken over his heart and mind from all of the deep seeded hate he has held onto since childhood toward his parents’ situation. This causes a wedge to form between his anger and his relationship with Francesca “Frankie.” He promised to never break her heart again but when a tragic ordeal occurs, will he be able to keep this promise to Frankie?
Frankie will fight for the man she loves but little by little she sees him changing from the man who promised her the world. Where will this leave the special relationship between Hawke and the woman he loves? Will Frankie and Hawke survive this?
Will this be the ultimate end between Hawke and Frankie or is their love strong enough to survive even the worst of situations? And how will Kyle fit into all of this when he comes back into the picture? The Timeless Series continues to be such a compelling and emotional journey that deals with the all-consuming yet imperfect love between Frankie and Hawke. This third novel blew-my-mind with the way it kept me guessing, my heart aching for them both, and consumed by wanting to see how it all played out. The characters are both still very intriguing in their imperfect ways. This is an entertaining series and worth checking out. Check out this novel and this series if you’re looking for one of those loves that draws you in, scrambles you up, then leaves you hoping that it will put you back together again in the end. ;)

This is the third book in this series and it's the "finale" if you will of Hawke and Frankie's story. And this one was one of those books that dragged me through the ringer. There are so many emotions that I went through with this book.
Frankie and Hawke are together and there's some serious heat between them. All seems well on the relationship front and both are giving this relationship and their future together all they have to make sure it lasts forever. I loved how Hawke tried so hard to be the man he thinks Frankie deserves, what he doesn't realize is that she just wants him no matter what's happened in his past.
Just when I thought it was all going to be ok, there's a tragedy that grips Hawke so strongly and brings up all his emotions and anger and threatens to destroy what they've been working towards. I have to say that I really got a little irritated with Hawke during this part of the book. I just wanted to shake him to make him understand that he's NOT his father. But alas, that's not an option!
I'm not going to say too much more, because that would give away the entire book. I'll leave you with this....you need to get this book so you can find out what happens and if these two get their HEA. It's worth the emotions you'll go through.
WARNING SPOILERS. I loved reading this book! I am happy she ended up with Hawke, though I really felt bad for Kyle. It shocked me when Axel went to Hawke right away regarding the proposal, but he saw how in love he and Francesca were. The journal was what changed everything. She was able to read about how miserble he was without her, how he always thought about her and how he thought he was doing the right thing. I know people were like, "she was stupid for taking him back the second, I wouldnt have done that" and "how could she do that to Kyle?" When youre madly in love with somone, youre gonna give them a second chance. After all, they were happy, he protected her and he never cheated on her. Yes he left her without looking back (which was highly messed up) and again when his mom died (that was messed up too, Im not going to lie). He started doing therapy to control his anger, to believe he wasnt like his father, he did everything for her. He proved that. Why would you just settle with someone when you can be with the one your madly in love with? Like I said, I loved this and am happy they ended up being together again.
This one was my favourite so far, I've never read a second, second chance - this is the third book in the series and third for Frankie and Hawke.
Can Frankie and Hawke overcome more difficulties that are testing their relationship? Hawke is pushed to breaking point when his life comes crashing down around and he pushes the one woman he loves away, but has he pushed her too far and will he be able to fight the darkness and find his way with his true love and soulmate - Frankie.
I loved how strong and resilient Frankie remained and would put up with any of Hawkes stubbornness into thinking he wasn't good enough and she deserved better, surely that's Frankie's choice to make, but I did like the fact Hawke sought out redemption to make himself a better man, one worthy of his promise to Frankie, but would it be enough to save their turbulent relationship?
I received this book in return for my honest opinion.
Meh. I fell asleep reading this, and during a relatively good part too, which I think indicated how much I liked this book. Oddly reminiscent of the first in the sense of the basic story line.
I did enjoy the way he proposed to her, but I wish there was more to it..she just said yes and they got married the next day. Also, the epilogue was a total “wait wtf we jumped 5 years and oh okay spoil that too...”
Don’t think I’ll read the rest of the series since it’s about Axel and we know how that story plays out thanks to this series.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I love Hawke and Frankie. They had a really hard time getting together and then staying together.
Hawke had all the drama with his Mom dying and then his worthless dad died too. Prior to his parents dying, Hawke was so happy. He wanted to spend his life with Frankie.
When Hawke walked out again , Frankie attempted to move on with Kyle. It was ok for awhile until Hawke's words got under Frankie's skin and back into her heart.
The more I read this book the more annoyed I got with All the characters.
Axel: very whiny Marie: rolling my eyes Kyle: Stalker Francesca: just a hot mess. Who couldn’t make up her mind Hawke: pissed me off
I really like the other 2 books but this one I had to stop in the middle of reading and read another book for a few days. I don’t think I’ll be reading the other books especially since I’m not a big fan of Axel, he’s more whiny then mans man.
I loved this book...this series! Dare I say I loved this more than Fifty Shades! The depth of this storyline was far beyond what I have read thus far from most love stories! I even have my sisters reading this! Hollywood where are you, I need this on the screen!
We knew that bliss could not be eternal or forever as this couple seems to think they will get, and the path that this third installment takes is a wild ride again. The happiness that they have together is huge and the connection that they share is intense and i think that if we’ve learned anything in this series and in the genre as a whole, when you have that much heat, and the word soul-mate is batted around as often as it is here, there’s going to be so much more pain than happiness in the long run.
We spend a bit of time enjoying some of the bliss- watching their relationship grow into the new version of what they had in the beginning and it’s a relationship to be jealous of. Marie and Axel are back from their honeymoon which prompts all sorts of thoughts as to what the future could bring for our mains.
While there’s trust in one another, there’s concern around the people who are around them. which personally is always entertaining to watch. Hawke doesn’t trust Kyle or any other guy around Frankie, and Frankie doesn’t enjoy seeing Hawke’s past paraded in front of her all the time. We see Hawke’s temper flair, we also see Frankie’s ability to bring him back down to the earth and tamp things down.
That is until he gets a call from the hospital and his world is turned upside down again. Even with all the effort that Frankie puts out there, she’s not able to bring Hawke out of his dark place – he’s so down an angry and enraged that he does what he did last time, he pushes her away and this time, there are more repercussions than anyone realized. Mind you he had just bought a ring for Frankie, with the intention to propose, but with his depression and downward spiral meant that was no real possibility.
Frankie told him that if he pushed her away – all chances for a future were gone. dead. he didn’t care and pushed her away anyway. So that’s where our story takes a turn. Frankie moves on, she gets a new apartment and upgrades her life. She expands her business to a 2nd location, she starts her relationship back up with Kyle, and everyone seems happy. Well….on the surface at least. She pretends to be happy. Everyone pretends like being without Hawke is the right thing, and Hawke is beyond miserable.
He tries and tries to get back into Frankies good graces and he fails. He starts seeing a therapist in the hopes that if he improves himself he’ll make progress, and yet, there’s no success. Kyle decides that he’s going to propose to Frankie and that’s game changing in the trajectory that this story goes – so i think you’ll need to read this one and the epilogue to see how this seismic shift really changes our story.
Ugh. It was more rubbish. Hawke was an idiot, again! Of course! It’s like the author took the break up dialogue from book 1 and then the apology dialogue from book 2 and threw it all into this book as well so they could do the song and dance again. And then poor Kyle. Again!
Don’t get me wrong. I did want to see HEAs all around, but honestly, it was so shitty of Frankie to be with Kyle and break up with Kyle again. Yeah, she was “upfront” about it but I’m sure Kyle was still hopeful that her feelings could change one day. And Kyle really was a good guy. A great one.
Hawke’s supposed transformation was just not enough after what he did again. Knowing exactly what he was doing. And I’m supposed to believe he “fixed” himself after those 6-7 months…🙄
Hopefully Kyle found the love of his life and is happy because if there was anyone who got the shit end, it was him for sure. Every time.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I'm not even sure where to start with this series anymore.... Frankie and Hawk's story has been a total roller coaster and I've experienced every single emotion throughout this series so far. SO, SO good.. I'm absolutely in love!? My heart broke over and over for these two, Hawke struggling to leave his past behind him and Frankie forever patiently trying to help him. I've cried more than I care to admit over these two, their connection so special, the ability to feel someone and be so in tune with them that you don't need words... An absolutely beautiful story, I'm so sad it has come to an end. Can't recommend this book & series enough!? HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended read!!
How many times does a guy have to push you away when his anger takes over that you finally walk out of his life? For Frankie it was the last time. She wasn't going to forgive Hawke. She has moved on and is back to dating Kyle. Six months have passed and now Hawke is ready to beg for Frankie's forgiveness but she isn't having it. He knows she still feels something for him since she is still wearing the gift he gave her last Christmas. I don't get it, she wants nothing to do with him and yet the minute he ask her for help with his mom's place she jumps right in to help. Poor Kyle is again left with a broken heart.
I'm not sure why I keep reading this series. They honestly seem to be the same book eith just a little different twist to each one. Sadly I won't be reading the rest if the series unless the author gives them out free or I can get them through my libraries online. This one is about the difficulties life can throw at you. The losing of parents. The losing of a partner and of a friend. How now matter how much someone is there for you, when you are in a dark place and don't feel you are good enough you lash out to the ones closest.
This was one of the most emotional books I have ever read. I wanted Hawke and Francesca to work out so bad. But dang if Hawke didn’t go and screw it up again. Thank the lord for journals otherwise I don’t know where I would be after this read. I have read the first 3 books in this series and I love each. This book broke me down and put me back together. EL’s writing draws you in and makes you feel with the characters. It’s beautiful absolutely beautiful.
WOW. Damn did I cry. The words to describe this book would be second chances, forgiveness, broken promises, heart break, the future, moving on, loneliness, devastation, hope, love and so many more. You'll find out what happens when hawke has devastating news and how it effects him Francesca and also Marie and axel. Friendships are texted. Revenge is promenant. Everything is at stake. Is live enough to save them or is the pain too much to bare? Read this and find out. Bring your tissues!
I enjoyed this series but Hawke's hot & cold behavior was driving me nuts. I understand that he has issues from childhood, I understand his anger, but when you love someone & this anger takes over, you take a break, you don't up & leave and destroy the life of the one you love. This story did eventually lead us to a happy ending (thank the freaking universe) & I was eventually pleased with the final outcome. This book fried my nerves though.
No. No, no, no, no, no. By the end of this book, I HATED this relationship and had zero sympathy for the male lead. *Spoilers* He goes and completely abandons the female lead AGAIN. She takes him back AGAIN and then they live happily ever after. Can someone please write a romance novel with a healthy relationship in it? Please. Not with some domineering jackass that I am supposed to sympathize with? I want my day back, even though it was my own damn fault for continuing to read their story.
Nope. Just...nope. This storyline is an exact replica of the previous book in this series. EXACT! And, the lack of counseling problem that should have been addressed in the last book completely ruins this one. There is absolutely no reason for the re-run. It only served to infuriate and turned me against both characters. And, to top it off, the one character who deserved better (Kyle) was the one completely screwed with no resolution at all.
Best of this series so far. As with the first two books, this one is also loaded with emotion and angst that grips your heart to the point you feel it might break. I won't provide any details or spoilers... I simply highly recommend this heart wrenching third book in this series. With its beautiful epilogue, it can serve as a conclusion to Hawke and Frankie's story, but like me, if you haven't had enough of all these wonderful characters, read on to get their full stories.
