this.book.was the worst I don't even know if half of it was historically accurate to me it felt like I was reading a long fan-fiction in my opinion the writing was so simplistic and to descriptive for its own good I was literally skipping paragraphs of detail because it just bored the hell out of me. I felt like there was little to no depth to their relationship it was pretty much

hey your my slave now and you and me are going to get busy but after that I'm sure you'll be attracted
enough to me to feel like your in love and same to me lets just base our relationship off of sexual attraction and then go from there.

I really did not enjoy this book the only reason I continued to read it til the end was to give it my honest review and I can truly and honestly say I did not like this book.

I skipped pages, paragraphs. There were so many unnecessary description. I got so bored with them. There were little characters develop. Plus, the fact that too many of the characters have similar traits and nothing unique about them. I did not buy into how they fell in love either. Like how likely is it for a war chief full of vengeance to treat the enemy's daughter well simply because she is pretty?

Overall, I did not like the book. The start was great, as it continue I lost interest.

Theresa Scott is a new author to me and when she contacted me to read and review her two novels which were being reissued as eBooks I knew I would accept because trying out new authors was always a pleasure. She asked me if I would be able to read and review Love's Ambush and Savage Betrayal which are both historical romances, which is one of my favorite romance subgenres. Well I don't exactly know the time period of this book Savage Betrayal but I know it's a long time ago and it is about two different tribes that are big enemies that have been fighting for years. The heroine, Sarita is from the rival and enemy tribe of the hero, Fighting Wolf but Sarita's father Thunder Maker wants to end this feud with a marriage of peace between Fighting Wolf and Sarita.
