Wedding bells in Whitehorn?

Ross Garrison was everything Lynn Taylor had ever dreamed of in a prince. And in one fairy-tale night, she gave him her innocence--and her heart. Now everyone was talking about how the prim schoolteacher turned up in the sexy lawyer's bed--until Ross gave the townsfolk something to really talk about and claimed Lynn as his bride-to-be! Lynn knew Ross was only trying to protect her honor. After all, this confirmed bachelor was about as far from marriage material as a man could be. Unless, of course, he fell in love...

An unlikely plot with a very quick resolution of one major plot thread, but no resolution of the other one.

The heroine was two-dimensional; the hero was one-dimensional. There was no character development for either one.

Overall, very disappointing book.

This was a quick read romance book. I enjoyed that the main character was an elementary school teacher who loved teaching. She met a stern lawyer who was working on a case that concerned one of her students. It was a fun read to take on a plane.

I would probably have given this three stars except that there is a major plot line unresolved. I assume I have to read #19 A Family Homecoming by Laurie Paige to find out what happens there. Are all the books in the series (there are 51) cliffhangers? Well, presumably not the last book. Too frustrating for me.

If you are interested in pursuing the series, I will say that I enjoyed the characters and their story.

I can't say I liked this book. It was similar to the Cinderella story, but it was very annoying. The reactions of the stepsisters and stepmother and Ross and Lynn . The dialog was bad. And the book ends abruptly without any answers. If you watch it from one side Ross and Lynn are together in the end, happy and in love, but there is one big BUT....

I loved the story line until the end just left a story line unresolved. I want to know what happened to the child. Ugh
