Cooper loves Ash, Ash adores Cooper. When their Pittsburgh private eye Sig stumbles in with a shiner and a broken heart, the ultimate in hospitality and elemental powers is required to put Sig back together again. Their threesome was but a temporary fix. As Cooper and Ash yearn to spend time as the couple they were always meant to be, Sig withdraws. His bruised heart can be healed only by the one that hurt it in the first place. Except he’s a wind master – and a wind master is too dangerous for a fire elementalist. Urban romance, MMM and MM with two HEA’s.
I received this book from the sweet and spicy arc programme for an honest opinion. This was a new to me author and series and though this is the 3rd book of the series and so therefore I was a tiny bit lost as it already had an established plot and characters, once I grasped the story and was well away with it. This book is about Sig who Is a fire elemental and who has battled to control his inner inferno. When he finally tells his working partner that he loves him things do not go well and he's left emotionally distraught and falls on the mercy of his two friends Ash and Cooper. This is where they mutually sleep together till David gets jealous and has to face that he may not be as straight as he thought. I really enjoyed this book, but I do suggest reading in order or you can be left scratching your head a bit but once I got into the book it was free flowing and interesting with great characterization and detailed. Now I'm going to read from the beginning.

I LOVED this so much!!
The character's were amazing! The insight we got in all of their POVs really completed and brought this story together so beautifully for me. The magic they posses, their abilities so unique and powerful, I truly wish to know more about it. I want MORE! <3
Poor, beautiful, delicate soul, Sigmund has had his heart broken for what he feels is the last time and in his blind hurt he goes to his friend Cooper to help him. What follows is absolutely hot and so sensual as Cooper, his partner Ash, and Sigmund come together to piece back together the pieces of his broken heart. I truly just loved everything about it.
The start of the story is a little confusing though mostly because it's already (pretty much or feels like) an established world without a prequel having been released. Like, the way it starts and the place that Ash and Cooper are in their relationship to so casually bring in a third without an issue, really felt like it should have had at least 2 books ahead of this one. Like, it felt I was reading a book from a series where their powers were already explained as well as how Ash and Cooper came together and how they're so in tune to one another that bringing in Sigmund did absolutely no harm to their relationship. It was truly just easy as breathing to them and in the end, it just is. No issue.
Though I do truly appreciate that there was no drama stirred by the fast introduction and departure of a third, that most books have. It was just that they're just so complete to one another that of course there was no drama between Ash and Cooper. Because they're IT. Again, I'm not saying I didn't love that because I truly, absolutely did but it really felt like I missed out on a part of the story. (I really want to read more!)
Still, again, I loved the characters, I loved how Ash and Cooper healed Sigmund with their love I loved how broken Sigmund was and how delicate his psyche was because it was so much sweeter when he was put back together and healed. I especially loved seeing the events that happened through David's eyes too. When seen through Sigmund's POV, oh, I hated him so much! But then seeing how it hurt David to have done what he did was a balm to the wound.
I hope there is some sort of sequel or spin off to this because I truly wish to see more of them. Especially because where David and Sigmund leave off... or perhaps the correct words would be, where they start off, is very open and so, very HFN.
But again, Loved it and I so look forward to more from this series and author. ;)

Ugh, okay I felt like I didn’t really know what was going on throughout this story. Now, I haven’t read any of the others in this series but I wasn’t told this was a series when I go it. There was so much about controlling the elements and whatnot and it wasn’t making sense to me.
I liked Cooper and Ash’s love and support of Sig when he is hurt but you could see that Sig didn’t feel as though he belonged there either and it hurt to see Sig slip away more and more. It was nice to see David finally step up but it was almost too little too late. We don’t actually see them build a relationship together which I think made it hard to connect with them together.
Like a Phoenix is the fourth book in the Disorderly Element series. I would recommend reading the other books first for background information. Ash and Cooper are a couple but when Sig is heartbroken they bring him into their relationship to try and help help him. However, there si only so much that they can do and the rest is up to David. He broke Sig's heart and when he finally realizes that he has feelings for Sig he can only hoping that it isn't to late to fix things. The element part of the story is intriquing. This book keeping you wanting more and has a HEA and a HFN for the couples. I received a copy for an honest review.
This is another great book in the fantastic Disorderly Elements series, and I just want to say the three-way scene between Ash, Cooper, and Sig is HOT. One thing I really love about this series is the way Ash and his group are willing to be open and help others while still being protective and supportive of their own. They are innocent until proven guilty kind of guys, but if you endanger one of their friends -- Watch Out. I really enjoyed learning more about the sword Jared, although it/he still remains mostly a mystery. I look forward to more books in this series!
I received an ARC without cost or obligation. This is my honest, voluntary review.
So, I didn't like this book as much as the others. And yes, part of it is because of the threesome, which I know a lot of people found hot, but to me... it served no purpose except having a threesome. But even before that, I found myself having to go back and listen again because I had drifted from the story.
Maybe it was me, maybe it is because I read this story out of order (I skipped it without realizing it) I don't know, but it never convinced me, and neither did Sigmund's story.
While I liked the characters I didn't completely understand their powers. There was no character history and no explanation of their powers. It was like we were dropped into the middle of a story, there was just something missing. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I received an ARC from the author. This review is freely given.
This is a wonderful continuation of a series that stretches your mind. You'll find yourself asking why the fantasy portrayed can't be real...it makes so much sense! I love how the characters meld together into a family and rely on each other and their unique set of skills. Especially when they figure out how much stronger they are together. The romance is sweet and affirming while the mystery continues. While missing Jared, Olivette does an amazing job of including him in this book. Sort of like people we've lost, who aren't really gone at all.

An urban romance novella where I felt like there was something missing. I wanted to know these characters better and after reading it, I felt like it should have been part of a series. They have elemental powers, but it wasn't really explained. Ash and Cooper are a couple, but they bring in a third, Sig, to help him through a rough time. I guess I would have been more invested if I had a back story and the abrupt ending with a HEA left me a bit confused. Nothing was really resolved, but it showed so much promise.

Interesting and complex story that will keep you glued to your kindle! Sig and David have a lot to work through and Ash and Cooper offer valued support in some unexpected ways.
This is the fourth book of the Disorderly Elements series and i think i would have increased my enjoyment if i had read the previous books.
I was gifted this book from the author and i freely give my review.
