Unfortunately, I really disliked the MMC in this book and found him problematic. I wasn’t overly fond of the FMC either.

Written in 1987 and it shows. Very dated dialog and predictable storyline. The ending was hysterical only in that I can't ever see it actually happening.

new Audio book from 2020 read by Eva Kaminsky who did a good job.

I am not a romance novel fan anymore. I used to be back in the day but got fed up with all the goo and drama, but I thought I would give this a chance when I saw the new audio book at my library.

Well, it was hard for me to get through it and I did skip some parts towards the end.

Now I know why I'm not a fan of romance novels anymore.

Didn’t realize this was a Harlequin romance when I started it. Figured it out after the female was repeatedly put in her place by the males and finally checked. Ugh. Reminded me why I never read these types of romances. Too sexist.

EARLY GRAHAM

You can tell the book was from about twenty years ago, the style was from then. I prefer her current style and nail-biting suspense.

I enjoy this book, but I like the Krewe of Hunters, the best by Heather Graham. The story line keep me interested.

"A Matter of Circumstance" by Heather Graham is a good romance. A lot of sex and a little mystery. Good escapism reading.

Very good read. The characters were real flaws and all. The author did great with the plot. It was easy, but exciting to follow!

This suspense novel starts with a kidnapping and goes all over the place. Meh.

I couldn't get past the first few chapters. Despite my OCD, I couldn't even force myself to pick it back up and finish it the rest of the way through.

This is the first book I have read by this author. The plot was good but there was a little too much romance in it for me. I will try a couple more of this author though.
