Magic Treehouse, by Mary Pop Osborne is a fantastic series that is very popular for all young readers. I can remember reading this series of books when I was in elementary school myself. The first series consist of numerous stories about the adventures and missions that Jack and Annie were sent on by Morgan. I personally love all these books!

The cover of all the books are so creative. They are very adventurous and allow the children's imagination to wonder as they begin to read the book. Not only are the interesting, they are also very eye catching. When I child sees this book on the shelf, they are automatically drawn to it due to the fact that it is different from the usual.

If I were to use this book in my classroom, I would read it to a 2nd or 3rd grade classroom. I'm not sure what type of lesson I could tie it to, maybe a science lesson about dinosaurs or different types of animals. I really enjoy all of these books and can't wait to use them in my classroom one day!

Jack and Annie are searching for their friend, Morgan. Instead they find a mouse named Peanut. While in the tree house, they find a note that ask for help. Could this be Morgan? Jack and Annie travel to a far away place through a book. Where will the journey take them. How will they get back! Who will help them.
