You've been caught wearing only your underwear again. Pages have been written attempting to interpret these nightmares where we suddenly find ourselves walking out in public naked. Our worst fears trickle into our subconscious minds, and when we close our eyes, we relive these fears again and again.

What if these weren't dreams? We leave our homes every day fully clothed, but --in the spiritual realm and in Satan's eyes--many of us are still naked. When our clothing choices do not include the Armor of God, Satan claps because he knows that he can spin his webs and win.

God's armor is made available to everyone, but so is the decision we are asked to make. Just like a strong-willed child fighting the parent who is forcing them into a winter coat, God knows that if He is the parent forcing us into His armor, our demeanor will be less than warrior-like. Because of this, He allows us to make the choice as to whether or not we want to be fully armed or completely naked.

A beautifully written book...deep and insightful...by a Christian who has discovered through first-hand experience the immense value of the spiritual armor God has provided for believers engaged in spreading the gospel message...and being a genuine disciple of Jesus Christ.

Filled with stories, examples, and illustrative scenarios in real life...and having humor well-placed throughout...this is a very good book for both beginning and mature seasoned Christians...about the importance and function of the armor Paul describes in Ephesians 6:11-18.

I highly recommend this book, and give it five stars.

It was her own life experiences and challenges that helped to shape her into the woman of God that she is today. But according to Ephesians 6:11-18, we must put on the “full armor” of God while we pray continually in the Spirit because our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against rulers of the darkness and unknown things. How are you fighting? Are you going out naked? Are you going out unprepared? Put on some clothes, but don't go out with just anything on; make sure that your body, feet, mind and heart are protected. Gird yourself with prayer to prepare for each day. Are you starting your day fully dressed or ...?  Do you consider these verses in Ephesians 6 when you're selecting from your wardrobe, or are they the furthest thing from your mind?  Christa Crawford, in The Full Armor of God, suggests we really need to be more mindful of these six parts of our wardrobe.  After all, satan is.  He watches and loves it when we are not conscious of what we've left out of our selections.  

Here are some truths I discovered while reading through this excellent book:

We are to wear the belt of Truth because the evil one constantly bombards us with lies.  "Satan can't stand that God loves us.  He hates God and wants to hurt Him, so he attacks those He loves: you and me." (Quote from page 27)
The breastplate of Righteousness is directly related to what we know about the sinless character of God.  It covers the most vulnerable and valuable part of our body and soul, the heart.  The more we know of who Jesus is and what He wants us to be the better protected we are.
The shoes of Peace are designed to keep moving us forward.  "We aren't meant to perish in the storms (of life) but to learn dependence on His abilities to see us through." (Quote from page 57)
Ms. Crawford's words on the shield of Faith remind us that we are not alone or unprotected in this battle.  "If life's hurts get to a point we can no longer hold up our own shield, we should ask those with faith to encircle us like the Roman soldiers and create a wall until our strength is restored.  Our Father didn't leave us without protection.  He gave us His Son, and He gave us each other."  Check out Ecclesiastes 4:19-12.  (Quote from page 68)
The helmet of Salvation is all about what Jesus did for us.  He is our Savior.  For Jesus, there was no half-way.  It was either all or nothing.  When we consciously put on the 'hat' that matches the outfit we're saying look out evil, I've got this and you can't take that away from me.
The sword of the Spirit is the only weapon we'll ever need.  His weapon of choice?  A book.  Not just any book.  The one He's breathed His words into.  Every answer we'll ever need is there for us.  It's so simple.  Just read it!!!
So let's take action!  Make it a part of your daily dressing routine to put on the belt of Truth, the breastplate of Righteousness, the shoes of Peace, the shield of Faith, the helmet of Salvation, and the sword of the Spirit.  I guarantee, it will change your day!

Crista Crawford shares her personal and up-close experiences with life. She explains how she dressed in full armor to counter attack the unwanted advances of Satan.

Chapter 1 entitled The Naked Truth begins the journey and story of Crista leading to each piece of armor worn in subsequent chapters two through seven, ending with Chapter 8 and how the war was won.

Chapter 2 asks the question “What are the qualities you value in the people within your inner circle?” Honestly, have ever asked yourself that question and arrive in a satisfied place? Most would probably say yes because of the trust in the relationship.

One of many of the best parts read in this book is on page 125, About the Author. It states, “Crista Crawford is an imperfect Christian writing about her perfect God.” (I love it!)

Further in the very last paragraph of the book:

“Our stories are meant to be shared because our testimonies
have the power to light the path for those who are still struggling
in the dark. What we overcome may be the very foundation for
others to use as their stepping stone.”

How great is that? Some of the best inspiration written I have read in a while.

I highly recommend to everyone looking for inspiration to move forward no matter what comes in his or her path. Get suited and booted and prepare for battle with your full armor of God.

A very quick and light read at only about 130+ pages but packed with a good amount of relatable info. The Full Armor Of God: Are You Sure You Got Dressed Today?...the cover had me laughing. Not making fun...just thought it was attention grabbing. The concept behind the title...do you feel spiritual nakedness? Cause if that's the feeling...then you are not armed with the attire needed for this spiritual warfare of our daily lives in this human world. I get it. I dig it. I have read and reviewed many Christian books. I seek them out not just because I am so intrigued by them but because sometimes you come across a gem and it works for your life or the daily battles you face. I enjoyed this one. I found it to be just enough of a good read that helps. And here's the bonus.....it comes with a workbook companion....a wonderful little workbook and if there is one thing I learned from Therapy...writing things down, be it little mantras, questions with answers, journal entries..seeing what you think is invaluable and a very useful tried and true technique. So yeah....kudos to the author Crista Crawford for the workbook idea.

Wisdom and insight, food for thought, and useful bits of advice...I highly recommend.

Excellent explanations to enhance understanding of the armor of God, are expressed throughout this book. Using clear examples from today's world really spoke to me. I comprehended the subject in greater depth, even though I have been studying the Bible for many years. I learned from this book, and thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Reading this book is worth your time. It was a blessing to me.

The Full Armor of God is an incredible, inspiring, and powerfully written Christian guide book that will inspire you and make you fall in love with Jesus Christ all again. This book is such a lovely read that it should be owned and read by everybody because it is beautiful, useful and inspirational.

The Full Armor of God is written by the incredible Crista Crawford. Crista takes the reader on an incredible journey that will inspire and enchant you. Her chapters are perfectly written and executed, and at the beginning of each chapter, there is a scenario written by the wonderful Crista. Then after this, she will remind her readers of how God is there and supporting us as well as giving us his protection at all times. It is a beautiful message, and so I am in awe of Crista and her words.

Within the pages of this beautiful book, the incredible author, Crista Crawford takes the reader on the impeccable journey I mentioned, and it will help you in all ways, including how to achieve a happy and fulfilling life. The chapters within Crista’s book are useful and informative. I thought it was incredible that Crista decided to make her book accessible and easy-to-read; she writes in a personal way so that you feel as if she is speaking with you one on one, so that was incredibly lovely to read. Crista Crawford’s writing is profound, moving and inspirational. I admire her writing so much and respect the reasons she has written this book. It is clear to the reader very early on that Crista is passionate about her work and wants to help people.

To summarize my thoughts on this inspiring, enlightening and informative book, I would say if you are looking for a book that is extremely useful and will better your life, then please, read this book. It is an incredible read that is the perfect tool for anybody, and so I would implore all of you lovely readers to read it! This astonishing book gets Five Stars from me!"
