Ryohgo Narita (成田 良悟, Narita Ryōgo) is a Japanese light novelist. He won the Gold Prize in the 9th Dengeki Novel Prize for Baccano!, which was made into a TV anime in 2007.[1] His series Durarara!! was also made into a TV anime, which began airing January 2010

There are two traits found in most of Narita's works:
* Narita writes extremely fast, one volume a month if he wishes - with tons of spelling errors and missing words as a tradeoff. The editors like to leave them sometimes just for fun, though.
* His work titles often have an exclamation mark at the end (i.e. Baccano!, Vamp!, Durarara!!, etc.).

Kanji names: 成田 良悟 & 成田良悟.

We now know of Huey’s master plan, his biggest experiment yet. But so much could go wrong. Other players in the game all have a plan of their own, which could lead to conflicts that could interfere with all those plans. And then there’s Fermet, who just wants Huey to fail for his own amusement.

Melvi and Firo are going to face each other, you can smell it from a mile away. But Melvi’s bodyguard Claire makes a bold statement that makes everyone pay attention, even Melvi himself.

Ronny was summoned to a ship by a mysterious group of people, he can’t help but go because of a promise he once made. Though it quickly becomes clear that they’re just wasting his time. This is a deliberate distraction maneuver. But what are these people distracting him from?

Comic relief duo Isaac and Miria stumble across a bear. Since they’re scared, they pretend to be dead, hoping the bear will leave them alone. But they quickly get bored of lying still on the floor. So they put on capes and pretend to be vampires instead, thinking that pretending to be undead will be good enough to fool the bear and save their lives. They’re in luck though as the former circus bear doesn’t mean them any harm. But a lot of dangerous people don’t know that.

Pamela meets Nader, Sonia’s childhood friend who promised to protect her whenever she’s in danger. But Nader’s not the heroic guy Sonia’s been telling her about. Pamela tells him he can’t meet Sonia, even though she is in trouble now and could use any help she can get. Because it would break her heart to know that Nader didn’t grow up to be a hero. He’s a lowlife who’s pretty much betrayed and made an enemy out of every criminal organization he’s ever worked for. And this forces Nader to take a long and hard look at the man in the mirror.

The bosses of the small Gandor family have surrounded themselves with a whole army of crazy assassins. But will the Gandor family be able to keep all these loose cannons from starting a fight that will turn the casino celebrations into a world of chaos, mayhem and destruction? That’s the gamble they’re betting everything on.

It’s really cool to see how all the major characters of the whole series flock together to give us one big epic finale. And that ending is so promising for what’s to come. As stated by the author himself at the end, there’s just one more book to go. To finish up the 1930s arc, followed by a big epilogue to wrap up the 2000s arc. The series has been on hiatus since 2016, so we’ll just have to wait and see when this series finally gets the ending it deserves. Though the author apparently recently tweeted that he hopes to continue both Baccano and Durarara sometime soon. So fingers crossed.

22 volumes in we seem to be getting to a conclusion or a climax or sorts. There is a new underground casino, and the major players in the series so far are gathering. Different fractions are gearing up to exploit events to their own ends.

There was a lot going on, lot of different moving parts. And this was just the first day of the Casino's three day opening party. It gets kind of tough to follow various groups and who they are allied with or against. Still entertaining
