Daisy struggles with the persistent advances of Ingrid Oesterle, Esther gets the call from Dark Nebula to be a comic shop employee, and Susan finally saves up enough money to buy a scooter that she’s too afraid to ride.
I've been waiting for Esther to find love, and whether or not she has, remains to be seen. But she's finally moving in the right direction, and now I'm ready to find out where this is all headed. If you haven't read this series yet, start from the beginning, because it's been a great ride so far.
All that went through my brain this whole issue was a giant, fangirly "EEEEEEEEEEEEE" that, if voiced, would irritate all the dogs in the neighborhood.... I am loving the developments with Daisy and it's also great seeing Esther and Susan adapting to the new situations in their life, and to see who they go to for advice.
Without giving too much away, I will say that this issue contains a big win for Daisy although I can definitely see where conflicts will get in the way in future issues.
To be honest, there are wins for all three girls in this issue. Looking forward to seeing them play out!
