Katie Reus® is the USA Today bestselling author of the Endgame trilogy, the MacArthur Family series and the Deadly Ops series. She fell in love with romance at a young age thanks to books she pilfered from her mom's stash. Years later she loves reading romance almost as much as she loves writing it. However, she didn't always know she wanted to be a writer. After changing majors many times, she finally graduated with a degree in psychology. Not long after that she discovered a new love. Writing. She now spends her days writing paranormal romance and sexy romantic suspense.
We return to Holly, North Carolina for the second novella in Katie Reus’ O’Connor Family series.
Fallon O’Connor is looking to pack up her pans and go off to Catering College in a couple of weeks… Well, until sexy Sheriff Brad Fulton puts the moves on her in her mother’s pantry that is.
This book had steam and sexual chemistry between its leads from the get-go, and although only a novella, the story between Brad and Fallon didn’t feel in anyway rushed.
"Maybe I’m not the Boy Scout you think I am."
Fallon is initially reluctant to get involved with Bran, mainly because she’s leaving town, but also because he is exactly the type of guy she knows her mother would pick for her. But spending time with him soon highlights that behind that carefully neutral exterior, something he needs to keep intact due to his role as town Law enforcer, is a man who is not afraid to get down and dirty and show his woman exactly what she means to him.
She was everything he’d ever hoped for but hadn’t known existed…
Another enjoyable instalment in this series of bite-size romances, I like that you get a great story, without it taking hours to go anywhere, and look forward to the next novella It’s Me Again, Baby Maguire’s book, due in May.

So adorable! I have to admit that I was apprehensive at first because I was afraid that Fallon was going to push Brad away a lot. That certainly wasn't the case.
Brad was damn near perfect. Hot, sexy, alpha Sheriff. He wanted Fallon for the long haul and planned to do whatever was necessary to have her.
Fallon ended up being a great heroine. The younger sister of Jackson (hero from book 1) I was rough on her at first (as I often tend to do with heroines). She was at a time in her life that she needed to make life choices and Brad coming along didn't make it easy. She chose wisely though.
-sweet, sexy alpha hero -very likable heroine -steamier than book 1 (thank you!!) -not real pushing away during the story -no violence of any sort -a jump ahead of 3 months which is what brings my rating down. I wanted a look at their future (if the minimal mention of Jackson and Nora's story (from book 1) in this book is any indication, there won't be much of Fallon and Brad in future book)
* I'm hoping her friend Halley gets with one of Fallon's single brothers!
I enjoyed this one more than I actually thought I would.
This has everything I like in a book. **A sweet strong heroine. **A honorable man **A meddling heroine's mother (I liked her) ** Christmas theme. ** A hero who chases the heroine.
He knew her as the O'connor's little sister and this is not a best friend's sister trope because he wasn't close to her brothers.
"I’m just telling you what I want. And that’s you. You're worth it."~Brad

Tease Me, Baby is the second novella in the O’Connor Family series and can be read as a stand-alone. Both Fallon and Brad were very likable, and although this was a short read, the romance was believable. I loved the small-town setting of Holly, North Carolina where it’s Christmas the whole year round. Highly recommended if you’re in the mood for a sweet, lighthearted and sexy read!

-possessive hero -likeable heroine -safe read, no abuse or cheating -no OW drama
There is just something about a man in uniform! I've enjoyed both, this book and book 1 but I'll admit this couple was a little bit hotter. Our couple is Brad, the sheriff of the town of Holly and Fallon O'Connor, little sister to Jackson from book 1.
I really liked Fallon's character but I'm all about my alphas. Brad was such a sweet combination of the all American, good guy and intense Alpha. I couldn't have asked for a better Hero. The small town setting was comical along with the big brothers interference. Short, but hot and sweet read! ARC provided by NetGalley.
Just OK. I don't enjoy erotica and this one was mostly sexy times and little else. However, I have to give it an extra half star for an H who isn't a manho. He was very sweet and seriously swoon worthy.
A sweet little quick read. This novella is the second in the series and a good way to check out the series to see if you will enjoy it. I read it in less than an hour, but the author really got a lot into these pages. It is the first book I have read by this author but it will not be the last. I enjoyed how the main female character was written, and since I have felt the same way she was feeling in the book I really felt I understood her. It could be considered Instalove, but the characters have known each other for quite awhile. While not the best thing ever it is still a good book, and I definitely want to finish the series.
What a quick, fun little novella. Fallon is leaving to culinary school in a few weeks. She’s not perfect and this seems to be a step that will lead her to perfection. Brad is the town’s sheriff and he is perfect. In every way. He’s the town’s Boy Scout and Fallon would like nothing more than to be with him.
Brad is determined to make Fallon his own and he sets out to do so. Conveniently located closets and pantries seem to help him along the way. The fact that she’s leaving in a few weeks isn’t going to stop him.
This was a read you can sit back and relax with. Lots of steam and chemistry, some humorous moments when Fallon’s brother take a stand and great secondary characters. This one may not be set during the Christmas season, but in Holly, NC it doesn’t matter. Loved it!
This novella was short but enjoyable. The narrator, Sophie Eastlake, is one of my favorites so I knew I was in for a treat. The story was set up as a good boy – bad girl trope. I didn’t read book 1 so I felt like I was missing a little of Fallon and Brad’s history. It was clear though, that the attraction that developed between the two was reciprocal.
Brad is the kind of guy I would want my daughter to marry. He is the sheriff, he is respected and he is completely responsible. Fallon wasn’t as wishy-washy as she appeared. She just held her cards close to the vest and didn’t share her dreams because she was afraid of visible failure. These two had great chemistry and they actually communicated about their expectations and wishes for the future. For a novella, it was developed nicely and felt complete.
This book follows Katie Reus' story Merry Christmas, Baby in theAll He Wants For Christmas anthology. I mention that because every story was set in the same town, and the sheriff of the town never got his story! Until now.
Fallon is back home in Holly, North Carolina and feeling like she *should* be using her business degree, but has instead been freelancing her catering skills. She's supposed to be leaving for California because she's been accepted into a prestigious culinary school. But, she doesn't really want to go. And seeing Brad every day is both awesome and hard, since she doesn't feel like he's into her. It doesn't help that at a Christmas party she jumped him and kissed him in the pantry. So of course she avoids him as much as she can in a small town.
Brad is a good guy, and he's had a thing for Fallon for a while, but he didn't know she liked him at all until she grabbed him and laid one on him. But he's been waiting, wanting her, but unsure where they stand. As Valentine's Day comes closer, he knows it's time to make his move, before she decides to move to California.
Short, sweet, and sexy, this novella was an enjoyable read. I absolutely recommend this series.
Loved it! What a great feel-good story that is a quick read and will leave you with a smile.
Fallon is going to go to culinary school. She has found and apartment and everything. The problem is that her hearts just not into leaving and flying across the country from her family and friends. Her real dream is to open her own business but she feels she needs the culinary school not to fail despite her success already.
Brad Fulton, Sheriff, of the town and all around boy scout really likes Fallon and has for a year. When they shared a kiss or two at Christmas he thought she might finally like him but she hasn't shown interest in him. That is until he finds her walking home on Valentine's Day and walks her to he brother's truck.
Now, Fallon has to decide whether or not she really wants to go to school or chose between a long distance relationship with Brad or a relationship at all with Brad, or finally if she wants to stay in Holly and be with Brad.
When she gets a call that turns her world upside down it helps make her mind up.

Katie Reus has a signature style. that's a fun mix of actiony adventures, original characters, and steamy romance. Her style is enjoyable and smooth, even in a novella length. This was a bite of contemporary romance, that was heartwarming and sexy at the same time. Recommend!
Tease Me, Baby is the second novella in Katie Reus' O'Connor Family series and gives us the chance to find the only girl in the family find love. Fallon has always dreamed of running her own business, she's a wonderful baker and already has freelance work making wedding cakes for a friend but she feels like she'll be letting her family down if she follows her dream without getting her qualifications so she's leaving town soon to start her degree on the other side of the country. The last thing she expects to derail her plans is a sexy encounter with the local sheriff. Brad is everything she didn't know she wanted in a man, on the outside he's Mr. Perfect but she soon discovers he has a wild side that drives her insane with lust.
Brad has waited a long time to make a move on Fallon but now he's had a taste of her he's going to show her just how perfect they could be together. He wants her more than he's ever wanted anyone and if that means they'll have to do the long distance thing while she gets her degree then he's willing to do whatever it takes. What they have is worth fighting for and he's going to prove that to Fallon.
This was such a sweet novella, I loved being back in Holly and catching a glimpse of a few familiar faces but more than anything I loved seeing Fallon and Brad together. This is a novella so things happen fairly quickly but their relationship never felt rushed and I was totally on board them getting a happily ever after. The romance was sweet, the sex was hot and I enjoyed the added dynamics of Fallon's over protective brothers. Future books in this series are definitely on my auto buy list and I'm looking forward to getting to know the rest of the O'Connor family.

Katie Reus had me at hello with her gripping paranormal “Darkness” series, so I just couldn’t resist trying one of her “O’Connor Family” novella series. It doesn’t hurt I’m a sucker for cooking and sheriff themed romantic reads. Mix them together, and I was pretty certain I was going to be served up an entertaining literary treat before I even turned a page.
Fallon couldn’t help but fall for Brad, the handsome good guy sheriff, and vice versa. We meet them about a year after Fallon has returned to their hometown. Folks, these two simply couldn’t keep their hands and lips to themselves. This ended up being a steamy, yet sugary sweet, uncomplicated, low angst read. There really isn’t any major drama to mull over in this review.
If you are looking for a very short, hometown backdrop romantic tale with lots of steaminess, you might want to consider this one and the other books in the series, as well.

A fun, fast-paced, intriguing and sexy contemporary romance!
She wanted this man with an intensity that defied logic. Which was part of the reason she’d been ignoring him. A girl only had so much self-control when faced with all this deliciousness.
Tease Me, Baby by Katie Reus is the second installment in Katie’s O’Connor Family series and a wonderful low-angst romance. As with all of Katie’s books, it works well as a stand alone read, if that is your preference. The story takes place in the small town of Holly, North Carolina, where it is Christmas year-round. Tease Me, Baby is the story of baker Fallon O’Connor and Sheriff Brad Fulton.
Fallon is a darn good pastry chef. Her delectable creations are to die for. Actually, Fallon already has a business degree but she feels that she would please her Mom by obtaining a culinary degree also and Fallon has always strived to please her Mom. To that end, she has enrolled in culinary school. However, she is having a hard time forgetting a heated encounter -including a scorching Christmas Eve kiss - with hot alpha Brad Fulton, Holly’s Sheriff. Brad is a respected, responsible, Captain America type and Fallon believes she’s not good enough for him.
Brad knows that Fallon is the woman for him but she’s avoiding him like the plague. He thinks she and her career can thrive in Holly with him and that she doesn’t need a culinary degree as she’s already an accomplished chef and can be successful without it. But, not only does he have to convince Fallon that her future is in Holly with him, but he has to get her overprotective brothers to accept him too.
Fallon and Brad have great chemistry. Even though their story is a short one, Katie does a great job developing their characters into totally believable and likable entities and packing their fully-plotted story into a novella.
Following please find a few favorite quotes from Tease Me, Baby:
"Maybe I’m not the Boy Scout you think I am." --- Mr. Boy Scout was not for her. He was exactly the type of man her family would expect her to settle down with. Freaking perfect. --- “Well, are you?” “Am I what?” “Dating people?” Her lips quirked up at the corners. “Are you?” “Nope.” “Neither am I.” “Good. You’re mine until you leave.”
One of my favorite cute slightly naughty scenes involved a family dinner after Brad had been coerced into playing a brutal game of hockey with Fallon’s safeguarding brothers. Here’s a short excerpt from that sweet and steamy scene which took place in Fallon’s family’s guest bathroom:
Laughing, she stood and held out a hand, “You need any first aid?” “Nah. Your kisses did the trick.”
Sophie Eastlake is the very capable narrator for Tease Me, Baby. She has capably voiced many of Katie’s audios and does another excellent job with Tease Me, Baby. She consistently differentiated between the characters’ voices and exuded the appropriate emotions making for an easy, pleasurable listening experience. Sophie’s performance positively enhanced an already enjoyable read. If you enjoy listening to audio books, I’d highly recommend that you check out the audio edition.
Tease Me, Baby is the perfect read for an entertaining, quick escape. It features charming and genuine characters in a light romance with a highly satisfying HEA. If you are looking for a fun, fast-paced, intriguing and sexy romance, you won’t go wrong with Tease Me, Baby!
Katie Reus is one of my go-to authors whenever I'm craving for a story with a protective, possessive alpha male (not alphahole) and a sweet but strong heroine. She simply nails it. And Tease Me, Baby is no different.
I love small town romances. There's something really cozy about them that I can't help making them my comfort reads. In Tease Me, Baby, we get a small town romance between the hot-as-sin Sheriff Brad Fulton and sexy pastry chef Fallon O'Connor. They've known of each other for a while but it was only recently that they discovered that they both felt the sizzling attraction between them. Unfortunately, Fallon is so insecure about herself and her career that she can't see herself getting into a relationship with Mr. Perfect. It's a really good thing that Brad is not a total boy scout; he's willing to get down and dirty just to prove to her that they fit, in more ways than one.
While this is a very quick read, there was no shortage on stuff to love. I liked how, despite Fallon's insecurities, she didn't really push Brad away. Instead, she was open to finding out just what it was that was between them. And I also liked the fact that Brad was the only one she felt comfortable talking to about her real dreams - setting up a food truck. With Brad, he really was a genuinely good guy. The kind of guy you wish you'd meet, fall in love with, and marry. He also is the kind of guy you get sweaty with ;) Even better, he gets a bit territorial about Fallon even before they get together. I like my heroes possessive and Katie Reus always delivers :)
I can't wait to find out what other romances are in store for the people of Holly. I'll be sure to visit them again when the next novella comes out.
Tease Me, Baby, book 2 of the O'Connor Family series, is a sexy delight! Sheriff Brad Fulton has had his eye on pastry chef Fallon O'Connor for some time, but with Fallon not seeming to return the interest, Brad has kept his distance. That is until last Christmas when they experienced the kiss-of-all-kisses. And now, just one taste is definitely not enough... for either of them!
I had so much fun revisiting Holly, NC where it's Christmas 365-days a year. And, no matter where you're from it feels like home. I can't wait for the next installment of this series. Ms. Reus has delivered yet another fabulous read!

REVIEW: 3.5 stars--TEASE ME, BABY is the second installment (and novella) in Katie Reus’s contemporary, adult O’CONNOR FAMILY erotic, small-town romance series focusing on the O’Connor Family of Holly, North Carolina. This is sheriff Brad Fulton, and pastry chef Fallon O’Connor’s story line. TEASE ME, BABY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Fallon and Brad) TEASE ME, BABY focuses on the building romance between Holly, North Carolina’s sheriff Brad Fulton, and pastry chef Fallon O’Connor. A drunken New Year’s Eve kiss from Fallon O’Connor had Brad Fulton thinking about a future with the woman that has starred in his fantasies for close to one year. One year earlier Fallon O’Connor returned to her hometown of Holly, North Carolina, set up business but has struggled with her place in the family and back in town. Her attraction to sheriff Brad Fulton found our heroine lusting after a man she believes is too perfect for the likes of her but a commitment to attend culinary school out West finds Fallon preparing to leave Holly just as things start heating up between her and the sexy sheriff next door. What ensues is the quick building relationship from lust to love for two people who have danced around one another for close to a year.
TEASE ME, BABY is a quick read; a fast paced story of insta-love between a successful pastry chef and the town’s resident boy scout-Sheriff Fulton. There is no major story line conflict but the heroine’s decision whether to head out West or stay in Holly and pursue a relationship with the man that she loves. The premise is entertaining and lighthearted; the romance is spicy and sexy; the characters are passionate.
Fallon is weeks away from heading to California. But she’s torn. While yes she wants to attend culinary school. She doesn’t really want to leave her family and friends. And this is before she gets hot and heavy with the sheriff Brad.
These two are perfect together. It’s a wonder they’ve managed to live in the same town for so long without combusting.

What’s it About? This super sexy novella is about pastry chef Fallon O’Connor and sheriff Brad Fulton. After the two share a steamy kiss on Christmas Eve, all Brad can think about is spending more time with Fallon but she’s leaving their hometown for school in a few weeks. Now Brad has to show Fallon what exactly she’s leaving behind if she decides to go for a degree she’s not even sure she wants.
Describe the hero in five words: Dependable. Funny. Determined. Sexy. Friendly. Did you like him? Yes. Why? Brad is one of those guys that you think you know and then you don’t. I thought he was going to be this uptight, enforcer-of-the-law but he was the total opposite. He was fun loving, sweet when he needed to be, and totally down for some sexy time in a truck just to prove a point! I liked Brad’s personality, he wasn’t overbearing but he wasn’t a pushover either. He was just this easy-to-like-even-easier-to-love kind of guy who didn’t need to think twice about how he felt about Fallon.
Describe the heroine in five words: Funny. Kind. Intelligent. Friendly. Loving. Did you like her? Yes. Why? I think everyone can relate to Fallon’s conflict of whether to do what is expected of her or to do what is best for her. I know I did and that’s what had me really connecting with this character. She’s a good person and I liked the way she treated the people around her. She was kind and giving but she wasn’t anyone’s doormat. Fallon was just one of those super cool, laid back women who didn’t make other women feel like they had to “keep up” with her when it came to trendy clothes, diets, or other fads. She was definitely a character I could imagine being friends with.
Let’s talk about the romance: Brad and Fallon obviously had a connection prior to the start of Tease Me, Baby (That must have been some kiss) and that connection really pushed this short story forward at a fast pace. Being together just seemed so natural for the both of them even when they thought they would have to try a long distance relationship. They’re somewhat similar in personality and I honestly thought they’d be a little tame chemistry wise but man oh man they were combustible together! Just within the first few pages it was clear how good Brad and Fallon were together. Because a novella has such length restrictions I will say that Tease Me, Baby felt rushed towards the end with the insta-love going on and the quickie solution.
How about that supporting cast? Because Tease Me, Baby is a novella there wasn’t much time to spend on anyone other than Brad and Fallon but both characters had friends and family that made quick appearances. I personally loved Fallon’s overprotective-but-still-cute brothers. They really showed the how close the O’Connors were as a family even when they didn’t always agree.
Click It or Skip It? Click It. Katie Reus never disappoints and she’s one of the few authors who can write a good novella.

Thoughts: Katie Reus just writes magic – period. Pretty much every book she writes is 5 star ratings from me. I particularly like the O’Connor family books, although each is stand alone. I was a little bit leery about Fallon at first, since I felt like the book would focus a lot on her pushing Brad away, however Reus made it work. It was actually a sweet romantic story and another hit for this series.
For a very short book this has a lot of story and a fun and steamy romance. I love books about small town sheriff's so I was already on board with Brad. I was a little worried that there would be too much push/pull for a really short book when I first started but it turned out there wasn't. Yes Fallon isn't sure she wants to get involved with Brad but it doesn't take long before their chemistry between them takes over! Both Fallon and Brad were very likable characters and I really enjoyed this quick and fun story. Looking forward to the next book in the series!

Tease Me, Baby (The O'Connor Family) by Katie Reus Tease Me, Baby tempts with positivity and sensuality. More than a romance, Fallon and Brad's tale is about listening to your heart and choosing the path makes you happy. Advice worthy of any dreamer, in a love story that screams Hallmark movie.
Sweet Literally! Fallon was a joy to read about and Brad was completely perfect for her. They were a wonderful couple to watch navigate attraction and succumb to passion. Terrific job. Bravo Write on . Davia
This is a super hot read! The little town of Holly, NC is big in romance. Sheriff Brad and Pastry Chef Fallon finally give in to their feelings. After a Christmas kiss that has Fallon running scared, Brad decides he's not going to let her hide anymore, and makes his feelings very well known. Although both characters had trepidation about starting a relationship, I liked how they both were brave enough to put their feelings out there and let nature take it's course. This was a great read and I hope to read more about the residents of Holly, NC.

This is the second novella in the O’Connor Family series that can be read as a stand-alone.
Fallon O’Connor is a pastry chef in a transitional point in her life. She has a degree in business and is scheduled to leave for culinary school in California in two weeks. The idea of starting her own business, selling pastries off a truck, has been tempting her to stay and try to make a go of it in her hometown of Holly, North Carolina. Sharing a mind blowing kiss with the town sheriff a month ago is a complication she doesn’t need but he has that kind of physical effect on her so she’s avoided him ever since but he’s not giving up on getting her attention.
Sheriff Brad Fulton is a really good guy and oh so sexy in his black uniform, he even saves puppies and is a former marine. Fallon nicknamed him “Boy Scout” because he comes off as Mr. Perfect, but is anyone really that perfect? This man can’t control himself around one feisty redhead who’s been avoiding him for far too long. He’s ready to stake his claim and then he learns she’s leaving.
This is an uncontrollable lust before anything and everything story that then moves inordinately fast to professions of love before they get to know each other as a person. This isn’t this reader’s favorite kind of theme in contemporary romance but I’m usually in the minority with this trope so many readers will love this. This reader needs more depth and believability even in a novella. There is a three month lag in the last chapter that eases the rush.
If you like short and sexy unrestrained lust to instant love romances then you’ll enjoy this read. This novella finishes at 90% on a kindle followed by an excerpt of the first novella in the series.
An advanced reading copy was obtained from the author.
This is a continuation of the O'Connor Family series but can easily be read as a stand-alone novella.
Brad is the sheriff in Holly. He and Fallon O'Connor had kissed on Christmas Eve and, since then, she's avoided him. He doesn't understand why, but what he knows is he really likes her and he can't forget that kiss.
Fallon is the sister of Jackson O'Connor, who is the main character in "Merry Christmas, Baby", the first book in this series. She's tried to move on since the kiss but she sees Brad all over town and can't stop her feelings.
They get together quickly. The steam and spice between them is like a tornado taking out a trailer park. It's fast and filled with passion. But there is a problem. She's leaving town in two weeks.
The story is a fast mover with fantastic writing, great characters, an unwavering plot, and a heck of a love story.

This was a short but sweet story. Fallon and Brad know of each other, have wanted each other and after an explosive Christmas kiss they are determined to have each other. With the help of a few family friends this couple takes things to the next level. Can the Boy Scout win the girl? Dreams can be achieved by never leaving where you are. I really enjoyed this very sexy read. Fallon and Brad are a cute couple.
