I'm so excited to be bundling the first 3 books in my London Lovers Series! I feel nostalgic seeing my OGs all bundled up together like this. Frank's house in London still feels like a real place to me. If you want all the feels and some laughs...this is your next binge read.

Becoming Us -
No, no, no no, no! This codependency and her "it's all my fault" for his insecure jealousy issues does not a healthy romantic story make. This would've been great for an era where women were considered property, but modern day Fin thinking she's such an independent woman desperately crawling back to "us," and everyone agreeing that's what she should do? What?

So yeah, I'm not caring about the further adventures of "us." Blitzed through A Broken Us as a result.

London Bound -
Nope. Not my cuppa.

London Lovers vol 1 contains 3 full length stories. My rating for this Box set is actually 4.5 Star rating.
The first story Becoming Us is an emotional NA novel. This is Brody and Finley's story however it is also Finley and Jake's story. This was different take on a romance novel which I thought was interesting. We were also introduced to Angela, Leslie, and Mark. I must admit I loved Brody. He was so sweet and charming and after dealing with Jake he was exactly what Finn needed. With complex characters, lots of emotions and a cliff hanger ending this story held my attention until the end.

Becoming Us continued seamlessly into book 2 - A Broken Us. Here we continue with Brody and Finley's story 5 years later. Again this book took you on an emotional roller-coaster ride. Yes it made you laugh, but it also broke your heart. At times my heart broke for Finley and at other times I wanted to shake her and tell her to stop the madness. There were so many secondary characters who all added greatly to the story most especially Cadence and Frank. Again another book that kept me turning page after page.

Book 3 in this set - London Bound was Leslie and Theo's story. We were given brief flashes of their story in the previous novel and I have to admit I was anxious to find out more. I loved the chase and their whirlwind romance. Yes they both had insecurities but they both helped each other overcome it too.The author touched on some sensitive topics in this story including attempted suicide and domestic violence both of which were tastefully done. I loved how each book flowed into each other. I loved the characters and the family they all created together and how they were all there for each other. This was a great read.

A fantastic series of books!

Here are three of Amy Daws' fantastic books in one bumper volume! I've read all of these as individual editions when they first came out and I LOVE these books! It's such a great series and has such potential for developing: the writer introduces new characters, relatives of present ones, their friends etc. They all have their different stories to tell and you can see more books sprouting out from the current ones. I read all the time, always have a book with me and read in-between work etc. but with Amy Daws' books, I always like to save each new one for when I have a few days off work/bank holiday weekend etc. They deserve to have my undivided attention so I can just read in total luxury without having to put it down in an important bit! These books are something really special, I can't wait for each new one, she never disappoints. The books are essentially love stories-but so much more too, on a whole different level. As well as the ‘will they won't they’, break up, reunite, intense emotions, suspense, the happy times-the characters also have their problems to deal with-these are sometimes unexpected things but all totally believable and it's easy to become totally lost and absorbed in their lives. A real treat. Great holiday reading-a fab set to get someone as a gift too.

These three books all gripped me from the beginning and I didn't want to let them go. I don't think I can ever get enough of them. The characters are written so well that they take on a life of their own. I don't want to just read about them I want to go hang out with them.
You ride the roller coaster of emotions with these characters. It is full of love, sad, sexy, humor, twist and turns. I love how in each books their are obstacles that the characters have to over come to better themselves.
This book will leave you wanting to read the next one to check in on the main characters and learn more about the other characters.

Amy Daws just made it a hell of a lot easier to dive into the London Lovers world. If you've read my reviews on Amy's books, you'll know I started backwards. They aren't meant to be read in any order as they are standalones but I'm kind of glad I didn't read it from the beginning. That's not to say that YOU shouldn't start with this beauty right here. London has been on my bucket list for a while now but since reading these books, it's been bumped up. Amy's characters are deep and she writes from the deepest part of her heart and you can tell.

If you haven't started any of Amy's books, now is the time.

London Lovers: Volume One by Amy Daws is life. I have read each and every single book by Daws and I’m completely enamored with her writing style. She can make you laugh like crazy in one scene and in the next she can viciously rip out your heart. This is a sign of a true creative genius.
This box set is what you need in your life. Trust me. Amy Daws will make you laugh, cry, and then laugh some more. I give this 5/5 Platypires

I read this set of books, because they were all together in an anthology. Possible spoilers so read at your own risk. :)

Becoming Us is the story of Finley and Jake and Brody, relatively speaking. The "relationship" she has with Jake made me think that Finley was a bit immature in her outlook. The way she spoke about her reactions to him, how she interacted with him, and then her expectations were like girls in middle and high school at times, not college. When things took a turn, she was SUDDENLY fine with having some other guy come into her life. Brody was up front about how things were for him, but Fin wasn't as caring as she should have been when she was in situations. IMO she was selfish and thinking of herself more than Brody. As the story progressed and their lives went on, I can understand the WHY behind what she did, but I didn't agree with it. Brody is an "in your face" type of person and the way she treated him really tore me apart.

A Broken Us continues the story of Finley and the aftermath of what she caused. Again, she finds herself (after a 5 year relationship with Brody) almost IMMEDIATELY having feelings for another guy. I mean, come on Fin, if you are that ready to just go with someone else, how much did you REALLY LOVE Brody???? As in the previous story, Finley seems to just really NOT put how others feel in her view. Brody gets hurt again by Finley, then she has the audacity to react & act like he's in the wrong when he has posts on Facebook (those get explained, too). Come on girl! You had a guy like that and you threw him away. How he felt is fully expected after she explains why she did what she did. She's the one who needs to suck it up and become an adult. It does take her a bit, but she does it.

In all honesty, I had to keep reading Becoming Us and A Broken Us for the sake of knowing what happened with Brody and Finley, even though she drove me crazy. I admit that tissues were needed for parts of Brody and Fin's story. The other characters that were introduced drew me in and made me want to find out their stories.

London Bound is the final book in this anthology and it's the story of Leslie and Theo. Once again, Amy Daws gives us characters who have a backstory. I thought Theo's backstory was going in one direction, but dang if I wasn't thrown when I found out what actually happened. This book had all the feels with Leslie's cracks that she never shared with Fin, but finally did with her and also Theo. Theo's family, and his brother, just made me cry.

I'm off to read the rest of the series, because I need their stories! I started with Blindsided and all the characters in there led me to the London Lovers Volume One. I had to print out Amy Daws reading list so I could make sure I didn't skip any as I travel the paper pages that I didn't know existed when I first read Blindside (which I LOVED by the way!)

Wow brace yourself for all the emotions in these books

I gotta say I struggled with determining my feelings about this book I loved Finley from the start and her friends and her family. Struggled with her first crush but when Brody came to the picture it was like wow swooning . I loved him and his notes. these two had it rough they both were dealing with insecurities cause of previous relationships but together they got through them but that wasn't the last of their problems because ofcourse life would throw more hurdles in their way to test them and test their love . Which leads Finley to escape to London to seek comfort with her friend Leslie. That's where we meet all those amazing London characters Frank, Liam , Theo, Mitch , Julie and others. It's the start for a healing journey for Finley but is it? Can she stay away from Brody and can he stay away from her ? Are these two gonna end up together and what's it going to take to get them to get their happily ever after. My heart broke for Finley and then it broke even harder for her sister I loved the message that the author portrayed their. She targeted two topics in 1 book but the loss is the same and the impact is hard. I loved the strength of these women. I was happy when Brody flew to Finley but heartbroken when he left her when he knew her reasons. Does Love conquer all? Or there are some things that you just can't get over and even love can't fix.

After you finish Finley's book you get to read Leslie's which you get glimpses of her story in Finley's second book. This fun bubbly eccentric girl hides behind that façade to hide the secret that eats at her insides. From the first book you can't help but fall in with love her . And Theo boy oh boy 😍😍😍 from their first meeting on the dancing floor at the club to her freak accident that will have you in stitches to their second encounter at Frank's house and their third you can feel the pull between them . These two have alot to become together. They both have family secrets but his is heavier than hers and this book we get introduced to Hayden his brother . Read it you won't regret it. This book again discusses some hard and sensitive topics but again this author knows how to pull you to keep on reading and feel all the emotions. I gotta admit my first book for this genius author was Blindsided and I more than loved it I reread four times already and I keep on going back to it. And that's what made me wanna learn more about the other characters in that book . Which made start from the beginning.
Read it you won't be disappointed

This was my first Amy Daws book. WHY HADN’T I READ HER BEFORE? HER BOOK IS HILARIOUS! They have that magical blend of tension, romance, and humor that will rank a book as a must read for me.

Becoming Us is the first book in the London Lovers Series by Amy Daws. It is told from the Finley’s POV.

In college we try to find ourselves. Sometimes that is an easy process. We had a good idea who we were supposed to be. Sometimes it awkward process that requires lots of bumps, bruises, and tears. Throw in finding someone to share your life who “fits” with you (whoever that may be), it can be downright painful.

Finley has most of her life figured out. She knows what she want to be and has a solid plan for that. What’s she is missing is love. She hasn’t found the “one” yet. She meets Jake, basketball star. They have a flirty friendship. He seems to run hot and cold about a relationship with Finley. But could there be more? Then there is Brody, who lays it all out on the table. He’s noticed her for years, but wanted to wait until the time was right. He has some baggage. Will that baggage be too much?

I like Finley. She can be wild, and fun. She is loyal, and loving. Did she make a small mistake during a night of drinking? Yeah, but I didn’t think Brody’s reaction was proportional. In the end, they both figure it out. The book has a nice blend of humor and intensity. I can only take so much drama before it becomes uncomfortable to read. Daws writes such rich characters that make the book a pleasure to read. There is plenty of sexy time between Brody and Finley. It was well done and appropriate. And HOT.

I was so engrossed in the book I finished it in a day.

A Broken Us is the second book in the London Lovers Series by Amy Daws. It is told from the Finley’s POV. You must read Becoming Us before A Broken Us.

A Broken Us picks up about 4-6 weeks after Becoming Us epilogue ends. We know something is wrong with Finley’s health. Whatever it is, she feels she can’t tell Brody and she must leave. She breaks Brody’s and her heart and moves to London to stay with Leslie. While in London, she takes a hard look at herself, Brody, her loss, and future.

I cannot write really anything about this book without giving away the plot. Reading about Finley in this book is like a punch the face by someone you trust. Why? Until you have been punched unexpectently in the face by someone you trust, you don’t understand how it feels and what your reaction would be. You can hypothesis all you want about what you’d do, but you don’t know for sure. The intimacy in getting punched in the face. It leaves you unable to breathe with watering eyes and nose. It feels personal attack on you leaving you to question things about yourself. That’s what Finley is going through. You can’t truly understand what she is thinking, or not thinking, when she makes her choices. Regardless of Finley’s choices, you have to stand by her on her journey because that’s what friends do.

Just like in Becoming Us, humor breaks up the intensity of the book. Leslie provided comedy relief and wisdom in the first book, and she’s back in A Broken Us. She is wonderful and fabulous as ever. Bonus: we meet a new character named Frank. Frank is from London and hysterical! I want a book just about Frank. He is sweet and caring, and blended with the solid relationship of Leslie and Finley. There are a few more characters I’m definitely interested in knowing more like Liam and Theo.

This book was more enthralling than Becoming Us. I started reading and I didn’t stop until finished. I didn’t want to break my magical reading bubble.
********************************************************************************************************************************************************
London Bound is the third book in the London Lover Series. IT IS MY FAVORITE OF THE THREE. It is a standalone book, however if you read Becoming Us and A Broken Us, you might understand some of the characters better. I read London Bound first, then Becoming Us and A Broken Us. It can definitely be a standalone book. It is told from Leslie’s POV with flashbacks.

Theo and Leslie have an unforgettable/embarrassing evening at a London nightclub. She can’t get Theo out of her head. Frank suggest a cleanse to get rid of the bad romantic juju that has taken hold in Leslie’s life. Little does Leslie know that Theo will chase her to get what he want which is her light in his life. Yes, they both have secrets that could break them apart. Are they going to take the chance to see if they can work?

There are so many lines that speak to my soul from her book.

“In all my life, I’ve never felt what Theo’s managed to make me feel in the matter of seconds. Knowing my words will only pale in comparison to his, I return his kiss passionately, whispering a simple ‘thank you’.”

“He stops kissing me and looks deeply into my eyes. The vulnerability there on display for me to see—to accept—to love. I can feel it. I can touch it. Every single part of him, physically, emotionally, he’s offering it to me. It’s all I can do to accept it all.”

Sigh. That’s just a sample of the awesomeness of this book. Theo is one of my BBF's.

Of course we have the humor. Leslie, Finley, and Frank do an excellent job bringing such liveliness into this great story. Two words: chaps and a bedazzler. I was laughing out loud much to the annoyance of my husband. I adore Frank and would someday see him with a happily ever after.

I wanted to like it, but it made me uncomfortable.

I dont normally write reviews, but I was looking forward to reading this book based on the title and little blurb about the series. I only got through the first two books so not sure how the last one turned out. But I disliked both Finley and Brody a lot at times. I wanted them to make it and then I didn't, then I did and didnt again then they got married. They were just very dysfunctional and I found myself cringing a lot and waiting for the back and forth to end and one of them to stop being so dramatic and actually talk to each other. I've read other books by Amy Daws and REALLY liked them, but this one missed the mark for me unfortunately.

Lots of angst and heartbreak

Finley and Brody's story is utterly heartbreaking. The topic covered is not one you see very often (in fact I think this is the first one I've read) but it was covered brilliantly. The conflicting emotions Finley had were understandable. I don't want to say much more because I don't want to spoil it for anyone. Throughout all the heartbreak, Frank is a breath of fresh air. We should all have a 'Frank' in our life!
The book covering Leslie and Theo is just as heartbreaking, for different reasons. The emotion that Amy Daws pours into her writing is something you don't see very often. You can tell this heartbreak comes from a very deep place.

An absolutely fabulous book - written with such heart and emotion. It's a credit to Amy's talent as a writer.

I definitely think that reading the books in order was worth it. I felt I knew Brody and Fin so much better having read Becoming Us before A Broken Us. And getting to read Leslie and Theo's story too was great.

While all the included books are full of angst, there's also lots of laughter and so much love. I can't wait to read the rest of this series - and of course I've loved the Harris Brothers spin off as well. It's the series that just keeps giving.

London sounds like the perfect spot for lovers â¤ï¸â¤ï¸

Firstly I didn't realize that this book was a bundle, and after reading the first book I was happy to continue on. I have to say I loved Brody and though he was a gem of character. The female Im blaming on her name actually ruined the second book for me gawd she was awful. How do you go from loving a guy for 5 years to leaving him with absolutely no explanation for him to making out with someone else in a week. She just made me really mad

All the feels

Omg! All of these books have the feels. I can’t even tell you all the amazing ness in the three books. Brody and Finley!! I mean wow. Their love is so powerful!! You can feel their struggles thru the pages. Then you have Theo and Leslie!! Theo’s live is something else. But you totally see the shine in Leslie in this book. She did make a bad situation better for Theo’s family. Made them start to feel again. ❤️

London Lovers comprises three books; Becoming Us, Breaking Us, and London Bound. The first two Becoming Us and Breaking Us, is all about Finley & Brody, how they met, their relationship, and later of their break-up. Finley moves across the pond and meets up with her best friend, Leslie Lincoln.

London Bound is Leslie's story and meeting Theo Clarke and their relationship. Overall, this story would be much better if I had read it before the Harris Brothers Series. I have screwed up the reading, not realizing there was one.

Couldn’t even finish it. This book sucked. Finley is the stupidest most selfish twat ever. Nothing in this book makes sense. She’s “so in Love with Brody” but only thinks of herself. She can’t live with the thought of having things to bad for her so she leaves him first. That is NOT love that is narcissistic. I get that the author wants some turmoil but this was ridiculous.
I’ve enjoyed many of Amy’s books but I just might give up on her for this one.

This was just an OK series. Finley was just way too annoying and selfish. I couldn’t enjoy the first two books because of it. I also noticed the author used “smirk” a lot. Like A LOT!! Her writing has gotten so much better in her recent books.

London Bound (third book in the series) was by far the best.

I have been thinking about how I could describe this amazing Volume of three books properly, but then I decided, why?! I'm just going to type all of my many emotions throughout all three books.

Becoming Us introduced me to Fin, Brody, Leslie, and Mark, and I'm in love with every one of them. Plus, number one on my bucket list is to visit London, so of course the title made me all kinds of excited.

A Broken Us is next up, and this one started tugging on my emotions, not to mention made me laugh hard at the well placed humor. If that isn't enough, I was so far immersed in this story, that I really wanted to message the author with name calling colorful metaphors, when I finally came up for air. Thank goodness I had all three at once.

And London Bound had every dramatic girly girl emotion known to man, loud and proud. The hilarious humor is still ever present, but there were sad, and heart breaking moments, that may or may not have had my eyes leaking a time or two. Not to mention the hotness factor will keep peeps warm in the middle of winter.

Amy Daws has a very talented writing style that is awesomely unique, and no one will ever be able to duplicate it. She's highly addictive, and brilliant in the way she spins her stories, so that I never come close to guessing what's coming up on the horizon. No matter what book I'm reading of hers, I know that the heat, emotional journey, and humor will be ever present, which keeps me devouring her work in one sitting. I cannot wait to read more by this awesome author, so all that's left to say is that I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The London Lovers series will have you crying because thats what Amy does best. But don't worry she will also have you laughing at Frank and Leslie's interactions. This collection is one you should pick up and read. We meet Hayden and Liam in these and if you haven't read Not the One and That One Moment once you read London Lovers you are going to want to pick the other two up. Trust me they are a must read.
