I checked up on the ever changing release dates for Born of Trouble and thought to take another look at Born of Darkness. Well, at least there are no changes as of now. BUT they are sure to come, as we now have 2 books with the same expected publication date.
As if that would happen.
And as I said it before and will continue to say; a press release that this series is discontinued or on infinite hiatus would be nice. And fair.
Farewell until December 2027!

As expected the book wasn't released on December 31st 2024!
I'm really starting to use this as a way to keep track of the changes in the expected publication dates. At this point, I'm not sure if I'm going to read the book, when it's published. I still love the old books of that series and revisit them from time to time, but in a way the series has a semi-ending with Born of Ice and Fire and Ice. I started to keep track of the ever changing dates back in August 2018 - which will be 7 years in August!!!
Here are the changes:
Amazon: Almost none...only the original book order was dropped from the hardcover and paperback listing, but their different expected publication dates December 25th 2034 for the Kindle edition and December 25th 2027 for the paperback and hardcover edition stayed the same.
Sherrilyn's website: December 31st 2028 (what a surprise - sorry, for the sarcasm - but it's hard to stay fair by now) I've said it in another post, a fair press release that with a real estimated publication date (if there still is one) would be very much appreciated. This back and forth and constant change is not a good press move. And if she's ill or doesn't want to write anymore - that's totally okay, as none of us can imagine what she has gone through or is still going through, but any news would be great.

Hm, where to start...? Okay, on Sherrilyn's website there's been no change. The expected publication date is still listed as December 31st 2024.
BUT...
on the Amazon website there has been a change. The expected release date for the hardcover and softcover edition has been changed to December 25th 2027. The date for the Kindle edition is December 25th 20234.
Also, Amazon still has the old book order. Therefore the book is still listed as 'Born of Darkness (League Book 12)'.
I really wonder, then the book will be released; if ever.

At Sherrilyn's website for Born of Darkness it states the Expected Publication Date as December 31st 2024...which is different from the publication dates at Goodreads and Amazon. Both of them still list the date as December 25th 2034...
Oh well, we will see when the book will finally be released.
