Special oversized issue celebrating two years of Giant Days! Susan goes home for the holidays and attempts to repair the rift between her parents with the help of her six older siblings!
I really like the Christmas setting and getting to see more of Susan's family (6 sisters is tooo many). Her trying to repair her parent's relationship was pretty funny, especially when she tried to use the children as leverage. I'm really curious about what happened with McGraw, Susan is not a reliable narrator.
They always do this to me!!! What happened to the rug?!?!?!?!?! What did McGraw say to her????? What did she say to her mother?????? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I better get at least one of these questions asked the next issue!
Wonderful holiday cheer! Also, Susan makes SO MUCH more sense when surrounded by her family. Fingers crossed that Christmas Eve, aka the night Susan can't remember, had her and McGraw getting closer to getting back together.
What happened to the rug? What did McGraw say to her? What did she say to her mother? We are pretending we don't care, aren't we? Just another not so quiet christmas.
Entertaining and sweet, but it's rather much to meet so many new family members, of whom we've only spotted the father once before. It felt a bit crowded.
Yay! This was the level of festivities I was looking for in the holiday special. Well, at a minimum of course. It was nice to see that plotting and scheming nestled with a little chaos is norms for more than just my own giant clan. It's kinda cute that the parents ultimately did get trapped - by a cuter, younger and more needy weapon. Mine tend to stick with their guns and still leave in opposite directions. I'm curious to know what happened on the Eve of our celebratory day? Do tell Giant Days!
