LIVE WIRE
Harlan Coben has risen to the top of bestseller lists worldwide, attracting voracious audiences for his peerless novels of domestic suspense as well as those featuring his fan-favorite sports agent, Myron Bolitar. In Live Wire, he offers a knock-your-socks-off novel that will electrify all his fans: Myron’s family takes center stage. Myron Bolitar has always dreamed about the voluptuous femme fatale walking into his office and asking for help. The woman standing in his doorway has killer curves all right: She’s eight months pregnant, which kind of ruins the fantasy. Former tennis star Suzze T and her rock star husband, Lex, are both clients, and over the years Myron has negotiated his share of contracts for the power pair. But now Lex has disappeared and a very pregnant Suzze is in tears, fearing the online rumors questioning the baby’s paternity have driven away the man she swears is the child’s father. For Myron, questions of fatherhood couldn’t hit closer to home, as his dad, Al, clings to life; the brother who abandoned them all those years ago is in trouble; and Myron’s teenage nephew needs an authority figure. Myron is soon forced to confront deep secrets in Suzze’s past; his family’s mortality—and before Live Wire is over, his own.

HOME
A decade ago, kidnappers grabbed two boys from wealthy families and demanded ransom, then went silent. No trace of the boys ever surfaced. For ten years their families have been left with nothing but painful memories and a quiet desperation for the day that has finally, miraculously arrived: Myron Bolitar and his friend Win believe they have located one of the boys, now a teenager. Where has he been for ten years, and what does he know about the day, more than half a life ago, when he was taken? And most critically: What can he tell Myron and Win about the fate of his missing friend? Drawing on his singular talent, Harlan Coben delivers an explosive and deeply moving thriller about friendship, family, and the meaning of home.

Not one of these books let me down! I love Harlan Coben and everything book he writes. He just makes the words flow so well. The next thing you know you're already at the end of the book! Whether it's this series, or the Mickey series, or his individual books: READ HIM.

Win and Myron might be what Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne might have been if they had not been super heroes. I enjoyed the book, the plot, the characters but was not enthralled enough to want to read any of the preceding or future "adventures".

Skipped a re-read of books 8 & 9 but enjoyed re-reading books 10 & 11. I don’t love the plot of Myron being estranged from his brother but these books are closer to the ones I like earlier in the series (books 8&9 go off track a little).
