Yessss! Mutsumi! I feel so happy for them, but toward the end of the volume I had a worried feeling in my heart.

Mutsumi is so kind and considerate and no offense, but I'm not sure if Kae is ready to have a relationship yet. I think, at the moment, there's only room in her heart to devote to anime and BL. Like her friend said, all her emotions of love and worship were flowing from Akane to Mutsumi because she wasn't happy with the ending. I think that is unfair on Mutsumi.

I'm also worried about Yashiro, whom I think is just looking out for Mutsumi but I think he wants to get rid of the inane Kae.

Ahhhh, my heart! I don't know what to think! ><

All I know is that I want Mutsumi to be happy, and if that means he wants to be with Kae then fine- but hopefully she is able to make space in her heart to consider Mutsumi's situation too or be honest with him. :'(

Waaaoooowwww ... Issa waow. (Shout out to Patricia Bright... Except I'm using her catchphrase in a negative connotation nooooooooo)

I am very upset that I still didn't enjoy this volume as much as I'm used to. I think I liked this volume more than the previous one, but not by too much, hence the rating. It wasn't funny and it didn't have the charm I'm used to. At least it didn't feel as silly as the previous volume.

Soooo.... Not gonna lie, I thought that the cover was just some random cheeky cover art, like how the cover art on comics always have nothing to do with the contents. I might have been in denial, since my OTP is KaexIgarashi, so I didn't want to believe that the cover was real. But uh... Yeah. It is. I'm not mad or anything, Senpai's a great dude, I just don't like his hair.

I'm surprised that Kae actually admitted her feelings already! I mean, I know it's been 12 volumes and that's a lot, but it didn't feel like a lot since I started reading this so late in the game. I totally thought that Junko was going to drag this out forever like authors usually do. I was also surprised that the series didn't end after she picked Senpai because a lot of romance books are about the journey and end once they reach the destination, and I'd expect this to be even more true in a harem series. I ain't mad though.

Also, I've never actually finished a harem series before but don't they usually end up not picking anyone in the end or something? Or they end up choosing the "main girl guy", which in this case would be Igarashi-kun I'm pretty sure. I dunno. Kae picked Senpai. Things seemed kinda rocky at the end of this volume though, so I wonder if she's going to end up dumping him for anime, and therefore end up not picking anyone.

I looked at the description for volume 14 and it looks like that's going to be the last volume! Wow! I'm still feeling pretty down on this series though. It was firmly tied as one of my favourite manga series with Mob Psycho 100, My Hero Academia, Kaguya-sama: Love is War, and Highschool Juliet, but at this point it has definitely lost its spot on the podium. All I can say now is that I hope my enjoyment from the first 10 books comes back for the last two.

Capítulos: 44 al 46.

En el hospital Mutsumi no despierta debido a un golpe en la cabeza, Takeru se disculpa y arrepiente, pero igual se larga, el hermano de Asuma y sus papás le permiten a Kae cuidar de él, mi poderosa Shima logra resolver todo por privado y trasladan a Mutsumi a Tokio, pero dos semanas después no despierta :(((, Kae vuelve a bajar de peso y todo mundo se preocupa, me parte ver a la niña llorar tanto, Igarashi acepta cuán diferente y superior es Mutsumi y al igual que todos esperan su recuperación, la niña en crisis haciendo henkidamas y transmutación de almas aksjakjs, amo.
Aunque al final, tomando su mano le habla, recordando todas las cosas que han pasado juntos, el como fue el primero en reconocerla, como la hizo sentir a gusto tratándola igual que siempre, el como siempre estuvo dispuesto a esperar, sus paseos, sus acciones y demás, pidiéndole que despierte pronto, LO BESAAAAAA.
Oficialmente el primer beso que Kae da y no le dan, amo aquíí.

Cap 45 te amo, desde la perspectiva de Mutsumi vemos como obvio desde peque fue popular con las niñas, pero realmente jamás entendió el sentimiento de amor y solo salía con ellas por amabilidad, vemos como conoció a Kae y desde el segundo uno, tuvo un interés en ella debido a su personalidad, como ella salvó al club y como no le perturbo el cambio físico e incluso entendió que se rodeara de tanta gente, su platica con Igarashi sobre sus sentimientos, aceptando que era obvio que ellos se enamoran de ella debido a lo grandiosa que es :3 y como por primera vez se cuestiono sus sentimientos, descubriendo cuán especial e irremplazable es ella para él, ve a la Kae hacer sus tonterías ajsjaj y finalmente los recuerdos de Kae, que escucha y ve en primer plano, hasta su precioso beso, que es lo que lo hace despertar.
Amando mucho la reacción de todos ante la niticia, familia, amigos e incluso el bestia de Takeru (al que informa Nana, amo que mi niño se amigue con todo mundo ajsja), Kae lo reprende por su actuar, diciendo que se preocupa por todos, pero él dice que no es así, que solo lo hizo porque no le gusta verla llorar y que precioso su sonrojoooo, la Kae por fin logra sentir aquello de lo que todos le hablaban y acepta estar enamorada de él. AMOOOOO.

Senpai regresa a la escuela, Kae busca a todos los chicos para tomar su mano y descubrir que no siente lo mismo que con Mutsumi, así que los reúne y les hace saber su decisión, confesandose a Senpai, los chicos aceptan sin problemas y se marchan :((, la niña se confiesa bien y le pide salir, amando a Mutsumi todo precioso sonrojadooo, y a decir verdad no los imaginaba tan acaramelados, pero amo ajsjaj, aunque sad por los chicos que lo ven todo, estoy muy feliz de verlos juntos, nunca hubo comparación, siempre fue Senpai.

Hiya! It’s me, Kae. Everyone came all the way to Hokkaido to rescue me from Tah-kun, but just as we were getting away, Mutsumi-senpai fell from a cliff and hit his head! Now Mutsumi-senpai is in the hospital and won’t wake up! But no matter how long it takes, I refuse to leave his side until he’s conscious again. It’s my fault that he’s here, and I’m going to do everything in my power to bring him out of his coma—even if I have to draw some magic circles and call upon a few spirits! But will my otaku skills really be enough to bring him back? Or will I have to borrow a method from a fairy tale to wake this sleeping bishonen? Either way, this experience has made me realize something about Mutsumi-senpai, and when he wakes up, I may just finally make my decision…

I was actually kinda excited about this volume, even if I didn't expect to love it. There would have to be some amazing twist to make up for the previous volumes. With the cover and the blurb I was so sure that it was the final volume, but... you won’t be surprised to discover it isn’t. So, volume 13 comes out in February 2018 and 14 in July. Will it never end?!

If you read the previous review you know that after being rescued from a hairbrained attempt to elope with her, Kae’s friend fails. But as she’s being saved one of Kae’s knights is seriously injured.

I shit you not, she spends this entire volume thinking about her relationship with her senpai, who is probably my favorite character, and deciding that she’s in love with him, acting as a lovely girlfriend to him when he wakes up, until a scene in the final act where she is duped by his older brother and returns to her obsessive fangirl self.

It’s so tedious! I think I must be the wrong demographic, because it seems most people talk about all the parody humor and the trope subversion and I’m just over here getting mad because I don’t get it.

Seriously, fuck this series. I am officially on break from Kiss Him, Not Me.

Serinuma Kae finally makes her choice... Probably obvious who she chooses (not story wise necessarily, but promotional wise). There's a nice scene between Serinuma and Mitsumi-senpai when he's in his coma and you get to see her words + actions break through to his dream world (including a Full Metal Alchemist reference).

The one thing I didn't like; our lead characters just totally accepted Serinuma's choice. They weren't broken up to the point of not sleeping, or skipping school, they just concede with dignity immediately on the rooftop after.

Also, I'm curious if the girl that liked Igarashi will now go out with him. I don't see why not at this point since they're both single.

Overall, I liked the 12 + 13 volumes. I heard people got really pissed at Kae's actions, but they're understandable mistakes for a first relationship. She can correct them. The dilemma she faces is solved with pretty obvious, dumb logic in 13.

Better than the previous volume, and Kae finally figures out what she wants, and the resulting schmoop and everyone's reactions to it are kind of hilarious. And then...sigh.

I'll be honest. I think it might be about time for this series to end. I tend to get impatient when it feels like the story as a whole isn't really going anywhere, and it's the rare series indeed that can sustain my interest past 10 or so volumes, and this one...doesn't seem to be an exception. WHICH MAKES ME SAD! Maybe I just had too long of a break between volumes 9 and 10. Maybe I'm just not in the mood. I dunno.

I'll probably still keep reading it though, in hopes it finds its way back to the dumbness I fell in love with instead of the dumbness that's in every other shojo series ever!

IT FINALLY HAPPENED!!! I still can't quite believe that Kae finally chose someone, and that that person was Senpai! I'm just SO happy!! But my heart actually aches a bit (maybe even more than a bit) for the other four... I've spent so much time with all of them, that no matter who she ended up with, I'd feel a little sad. Kae and Mustumi are really cute together though! I just hope that Kae can learn to balance her love for anime and BL with her IRL relationship. It makes sense that she'd have a hard time adjusting, since she's never had to think about things in that way before, but she'll definitely end up losing her boyfriend if she doesn't learn from these mistakes.

เป็นเรื่องที่อ่าน ๆ หยุด ๆ จากหลายที่มาหลายปี เพิ่งได้ซื้อเก็บนี่แหละ เมื่อก่อนอ่านแล้วเข้าไม่ถึงสาววาย จนตอนนี้ได้มาอ่านวายด้วยถึงพอเข้าใจแต่ยังไม่ถึงขั้นคาเอะ 555

อ่านมาถึงเล่ม 12 ก็ไม่ค้างเท่าไหร่ พอจะเดาได้ว่าคาเอะต้องพยายามบริหารความชอบตัวเอง ไม่ให้ทิ้งแฟนบ่อย ๆ อย่างนี้ มันไม่น่ารักและเห็นแก่ตัวเกินไป คนดีอย่างคาเอะคงปรับปรุงตัวได้ในที่สุด ไม่งั้นรุ่นพี่มุทสึมิก็น่าสงสารแย่เลย

2 คนนี้ได้มาคบกันถือว่าไม่เกินคาดเท่าไหร่ รุ่นพี่มุทสึมิไม่แปลกใจที่คาเอะเปลี่ยนโฉมเป็นสาวสวยมาตั้งแต่แรก แถมปฏิบัติตัวเองเหมือนเดิมเสมอต้นเสมอปลาย เหมาะสมที่สุดแล้วกับคาเอะ

I love that Mutsumi-senpai and Kae-chan finally got together, but I’m worried her old habits will damage the relationship. I really do like that Mutsumi-senpai is supportive of Kae-chan being a massive otaku but, it’s a bit worrying that he hides that he’s getting down about his lack of time with her.

Also, I’m extremely mad that no one but especially Kae-chan, reported nor pressed charges against, that psycho voice actor for everything that he did. I hope he stays far away from everyone.

Ok so...I am kinda pissed off at Kae in this one...while I'm happy she finally made a decision, I feel like she is being so utterly selfish! Maybe they will chop it all up to her being new to a relationship, but I am still upset at how she ditched him so quickly over anime...I mean, girl I get it, anime and all is wonderful...but he is your boyfriend. Just irritated. Hope it resolves in her actually learning something and not a OH WELL SHE IS JUST QUIRKY LIKE THAT again.

I’m so glad the Mitsuboshi arc is done and wrapped up cleanly. Also, we finally have an answer as to who Serinuma finally chooses. While they weren’t my personal choice, it really does make the most sense.

My biggest issue is the “twist” at the end because with everything that happened with Mitsuboshi, I feel like there’s no way there can be anything that happens that can up things from volume 11 and if they do it’s gonna be so incredibly out of character.

When I started this series, I thought she was going to pick Igarashi. But when I started this volume, Mutsumi, seemed like where they were headed.

Kae likes all of them but she is a very self-centered person and not really suited for a relationship.....I really hope she doesn't KEEP treating Mutsumi like this....no matter how understanding he is. And she went with his classmate...whether she "remembers what happened next" or not, he is bound to tell Mutsumi.

First of all, it's a HUGE relief that she does indeed pick the right guy. Anything else would've made zero sense.

However. Tah-kun should've gone to effin jail okay. I'm sick of villains being forgiven and learning to be a better person after traumatizing and kidnapping the heroine.

And let's not forget that Serinuma is being an idioooooot.

Ce tome aurait pu être parfait. C'était adorable... jusqu'à qu'on arrive au dernier chapitre. Bon après c'est le personnage de Kae mais c'est irréaliste. Qui est si fan d'un truc au point de sacrifier une journée importante pour la personne qu'on aime. C'est grave, moi je romps direct si c'est comme ça

Kae makes a decision! Which is great, until it's like... BUT did she reeeeallllly?? I'd probably be about ready to give this series up except it sounded like it's not going to go on too much longer.
