Audible listen. Narrator did a great job. Good tone to her voice and the recording was good quality. I’d recommend the listen.
Very entertaining series! Love the post apocalyptic aspect of the world and the zombies! I’d recommend reading the previous books for the best reading experience; the story continues on with the same characters as the previous books. More adventures for the witches and the wolves! New and old enemies pop up; lots of fun danger and action! Plus, some sweet and spicy romance! This whole series has been great!

BLOOD OF THE MOON is an amazing, non-stop action packed book, that eventually proves you do not mess with this woman! Dora and Dirk are from the original book, “Apocalyptic Moon” and it was great to get back with this couple and see the changes in their lives along with the others in the series.
She has been learning to be a witch and calls her abilities her “witchamacallit” and a lot of endearing and funny moments come into play as she uses them. She flies with a broom, she learns to shift into a cat, much to her wolf mate's bemusement, and uses simple poetry to cast spells. Part of the adventure in this book includes being captured by former enemies, threatened by the Benandanti, but even in the midst of danger there is still time for new discoveries and a little romance for a couple of people in the group.
This series has always had a lot of mystery about the plague that needed to be answered. What in the world had really happened? Who started the Z-phage? Why are electronics going wonky? You will get all the answers in this book as well as a number of surprises. If you like a bit of sci-fi mixed into your paranormal then BLOOD OF THE MOON is perfect for you. I can't tell you what that mixture is as I believe it would be considered a spoiler but I was not expecting this mix at all.
All in all this is a fantastic read that had me going back and re-reading the other books just for the fun of it.

Fantastic Book! Blood of the Moon is Book 3 and final book of the After the Bane series. It is so very intriguing. The action-paced plot has non-stop action and danger. This entire series is so good. I highly recommend it to all lovers of shifter stories that also encompasses a doomsday zombie apocalypse. There is much more danger and suspense in this book, too. The two main evil antagonists that Dirk and Dora face are over-the-top scary and unbelievably malevolent. I read this book with bated breath—anxiously turning the pages—and horrified at what was happening. As this book is the final book in the trilogy, I am saddened to have the story end, as I’ve fallen in love with each of the major heroic characters in this exciting tale. I received this book at my request, and I provided this voluntary review.

I received an ARC for an honest review.
I was very happy to finally be able to read the sequel to this highly exciting serie. I love the post apocalyptic background, how it forces the characters to think not only of their immediate survival but of the future, of how they will built new civilization, new homes, make new rules... it is a deeper approach and in After The Bane, it is done beautifully.
I was very excited to come back to the different types of characters, shifters, witches, aliens... a crazy mix for an amazing read. It is guaranteed that you will not be able to put the book down so be prepared :)

Third and final book of the trilogy. We get answers to all the questions. Who started the plague and why being the top ones. Dora and Dirk are the main characters again. We meet some new ones and unfortunately some of the old ones that just won’t stay down. The series has been an amazing mix of paranormal and zombie/dystopian. Add in some sci-fi and you just don’t know what to expect next.

From witches to shifters to zombies. Needless to say, there wasn't a boring page in the book. It was one action scene to another, with a little action on the side with Dora and Dirk. This book will left me reeling! Book gifted to me.

Started it and I feel I need to go back and refreash my memory with the first two books.
I am glad I went back and read the other two books cause I had forgot a lot and they were well worth rereading them. I really enjoyed reading about werewolves, witches fighting the zombies and bad guys. There is a interesting twist about why there is apocalyptic.

This is the final book of a trilogy that is honestly on of the best zombie series I have ever read. I only have one problem with this book and that is that it is the end. I want more. I love Dora, Dirk, Rave and Maddox. I want to know what happens beyond the epilogue.
Spoilers Below
*********
At the beginning of the book, a zombie clearing, Dora finally is able to shift to her familiar animal. She hadn't been able to shift in the past because she was trying to shift into a wolf like Dirk. Instead she shifts into a domestic house cat. That comes in handy when while on a mission to get chimpanzombie DNA her magic fails, she is pregnant with a dragon as the prophecy foretold, and Dora is captured by the Kindred. Sloane, the daughter of the Kindred that Maddox killed in book 2, now leads this vicious band of killers. The Kindred are on the road to Vegas for the Zombie Games. They have chimpanzombies and captured Benandanti werewolves to wager on in the pit.
During the rescue Dirk is captured and put in the pit games. He wins of course. Shari, the mysterious girl Falco loves turns out to be a protean but also one of the good guys.
After they all escape Dora gives birth to a beautiful baby boy they named Derrick. Dora and Dirk adopt a teenage boy they found in Vegas and solve the zombie problem. The book ended too soon. The final chapter was two months later and the epilogue was two years later. I either want to know what happened or I want follow up.
