I liked how the layout or this issue was entirely different, very fluid to go with the chaos and lack of sleep, two things VERY common in college. Also Susan and McGraw!!! Oh, and a first glimpse of the terrifying wall mural!
A great issue that gets back to the heart of Giant Days: shenanigans and the trio's attempt at handling the ensuing fallout. This time, we finally get to see what Ingrid has painted on the wall of their flat...and it's pretty amazing. I wish we had seen more of the positives of their relationship before moving on to the drama between Ingrid and Daisy, but it still all felt well done. I also feel like I've finally become used to the drawing style without missing our original artist.
"Ah, no. That's off limits, I'm afraid. Just don't think about it." AND SO, THEY DIDN'T.
This sums up the majority of plot devices in this comic: Some cool aspect of the characters or setting that gets brought up in the beginning and never again. I'm still enjoying this but it's starting to get kind of annoying.
This was another great issue filled with plenty of laughs and giggles coming g from me! Susan, Esther and Daisy never disappoint; they are such a great group of girls and I love seeing the different antics they get into. I always fly through these and then I'm always anticipating the next issue!
