About the author

Melanie Jackson is an LGBTQ+ romance fictional writer. She currently lives in Littleton, NH with her husband, Corey and cat, Salem. Melanie was born with a rare medical condition called FFU (Femur, Fibula, Ulna Dyspepsia) and dyslexia. Despite a hard childhood, she loved reading and telling stories to her five younger siblings. She always knew she wanted to become a writer/author. Melanie came out as bisexual in 2006 and graduated as an LNA that same year. Shortly after, she met her husband Corey and they were married in 2011. In 2015, she wrote her first book, Jaden's Heart.

This book was given to me to read in return for an honest review. It’s a second book in a series. I have not read the first book. I hadn’t read any books by Melanie Jackson before and was pleased to find a new author I will be following in future! Really enjoyed the book and will be going back to read book 1.

The characters are well developed and interesting. The mystery that surrounded Jaden had me intrigued and wanting to keep reading to find out what secrets laid beneath her persona.
