Once again Susan Harper has produced a very readable cozy mystery, with the characters constantly developing as the series progresses, although this does have a slight downside in that the there are references back to earlier books, so new readers may find a few things a little confusing at first, but they are soon made clear.
The plot of this book is above average for cozy mysteries, and I genuinely didn't guess who the 'big boss' was until the very end. I am thoroughly enjoying this series, and am very much looking forward to the next one.

Felicity is once again drawn in to help solve a murder. This time of someone she was working with and taking her spot for the city's event planner. Who would want to kill Wanda? As Felicity digs deeper into the case, there are other things that she finds out about Wanda and her family that she was not aware of. Then there is also her new boy friend, Brian. He doesn't get along with Jefferson and Jack. Could it be due to jealousy or is there more to it? Read the book to find the answers. I received a copy of this book from Fairfield Publishing. The review is entirely my own opinions and done voluntarily.

We join Felicity Overton and her lawyer boyfriend Brian returning from a two. week Thanksgiving vacation at his family home.
At the Light Festival that Overton's Events has organized, the current city planner Wanda is murdered. She's tied up under the horse drawn carriage and draged to death. 35yrs ago to the day her sister died being dragged by a horse. As usual Susan Harper leaves us with clues to the final identity of the murderer but you really have to pay attention. I love this series and can't wait for the next installment. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.

Felicity is sleuthing again, and boy it is a wild ride. This book has it all, good times, murder, celebrations, wedding planning, and men troubles. Love the characters in this series, enjoy how each of them bring their own history into the story. The town of Senoia would not be the same without them. Really enjoyed how Felicity is so tenacious in following the clues to find the murderer.
Highly recommend this book as a very good mystery and the series is wonderful.
Received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Event planners extraordinaire Felicity and Jefferson return in this entertaining cozy series set in a small Georgia town. Just as the annual Christmas events are underway, the pair find themselves in midst of betrayal, revenge and murder. This a fun series and is a notch above a lot of other cozies. The writing is quite good, the characters are interesting and the mysteries are not so obvious. All in all, worth your reading time.
I requested and received an Advance Reader Copy of this book. My review is voluntary and the opinions my own.

Horse Drawn Homicide by Susan Harper is a Senoia Cozy Mystery book 4. I liked this exciting story. Only thing I didn't care for it to suddenly end. Its just, something's are left hanging. The mystery was solved. Looking forward to the next book in this series. Thanks

Good book
This story is well-written with a very good plot. The story moves smoothly, keeping the reader literally glued to the story. The characters are well defined and the interactions are very interesting. Am looking forward to the next book.

Another winner
I am enjoying this series of cozy mysteries. I am not sure what the most interesting mystery is, though. The mystery Tiffany solves or the mystery of which man she'll end up with.

I enjoy reading this series. I like the characters and the story line. Just when you think you have it all figured out, along comes another clue to make you realize you are wrong.

A good quick read. A twist of the original supposed motivation for the killing. Nice character qualities.

Ok, I think out of everything that annoyed me about this book it was the lack of being able to count months. We find out in May that Felicity and Brian are dating, come thanksgiving they apparently only knew each other for 3 months. With some basic math, we know it's been 7 months. I feel like that was a bit thing that was missed. It annoyed me more than I care to admit.
The character of Brian is not one I like. I can't see Felicity dating a defence attorney that actively gets criminals out of jail. We see him as two-faced in the book since we get to see how he acts with Jefferson and Jack.
The mystery was straight-forward, and I did have a guess of who killed the victim early on. Though I wasn't 100% sure 'til later in the book.
I did enjoy it and would have enjoyed it more had the amounts of time added up properly.

Another awesome book from Susan harper. Felicity and jefferson her assistant are the event planners for the city light up senoia. Wanda trained them up as she was retiring.
Things didn't quiet go to plan when a friend turns up dead tied to the under side of the horse drawn cart. Can Felicity find out who it is? You will have to read to find out.
It's full of its usual twists and turns. Keeps you guessing. You won't be disappointed.
