Esther feels guilty when she befriends McGraw’s girlfriend and leaves Susan out in the cold, while Daisy thinks she’s found the perfect girl for Ed Gemmell.
It's great to see Esther successful academically, as well as being able to let bygones be bygones. Having said that, I hope it won't devolve into an episode of Invasion of the Body-Snatchers...
And Ed. Please, please change your clothes.

Gothic-Kinsley-Amis-Chic! I mean, it's so hard to hate Emilia! Especially after that party save. Though Daisy is right, Ed, you HAVE to ditch that Anakin braid!
I feel like Esther's charecter has grown a little now that she's focusing on her education - despite the fact that she may have some poor motives. Not everything need be a competition Esther.. but props to her for moving past her jealousy and reconciling with Emilia. I'm still frothing over Ed and Daisy and loved seeing more of the two of them together. I'm in love with the both if them HARD.
"But I want someone...better than me. Who makes me try harder."
This issue felt more like a cautionary tale rather than a comedy: don't follow the sheep, don't go to parties with creepy instructors, don't underestimate your best friend's ex's girlfriend. Kinda just meh.
I wasn't into the whole Esther trying to show everybody up and focusing on being better than one person in particular. Daisy, Susan, and Ed were all adorable though.
OH Esther. I felt like this one was a little short and couldve expanded more. As curious as I was about Mcgraw's girlfriend. I'm more curious about the whole situation with Susan and Mcgraw because things seemed to amiss with that. Susan seemed way to calm about her in this issue which raises so many red flags, even Esther is pointing out to her how this was out of character. The sidestory with Ed and Daisy was cute and had a good narrative. While Daisy is right that Ed just constantly holding out for Miss Right is kind of a wasted endeavor, Ed is also right in saying that he has every right to not be interested in someone and not call them back. (But he couldve at least given the girl some closure. Bad Ed!)

Emilia isn't going to come along and dazzle every one while Susan gets to be left alone, this isn't okay. Also I kinda liked the new look on Ed, sorry.
