Felicity and her gang of friends were having a jolly time shopping for the newest member of their group Dawn wedding. On the heels of the preparation for their friend's wedding, another of their friend Jeffrey became embroiled in past relationships and is being accused of attempted murder. It was up to Felicity and her gang to find out the truth of what really happened to free their friend from being locked away for something he didn’t do. A most enticing and intriguing book with a great storyline and excellent characters although there are a few crazies in between, this was a nice mystery with a bit of an edge to it, nice I like it.

A fast paced fun read you will want to finish in one sitting

Another chapter in the Senoia cozy mystery series! And an incredibly fun book to read, full of suspects and friends. Felicity, event planner and amateur crime solver and her assistant Jefferson are asked to do the party for a returning Navy Man, Nick. However, complications begin when we find the wife of the Navy Man, Whitney was the ex-girlfriend who cheated on Jefferson. Sticky situation, even though Jefferson said he is over the conflict between them it was so long ago and he has moved on. When the Nick gets shot, Jefferson gets arrested. And the frameup of Jefferson begins. But there are so many that wanted Nick dead, Felicity goes into super sleuth mood to clear him of the attempted murder and setup going after the real shooter. Felicity's gang of friends all wanted in to help clear Jefferson and the adventure begins. There are so many twists and backstories and secrets, and even some static between the friends in the group we are taken on a roller coaster ride. A fast paced fast read, you will want to finish this book in one sitting! This is a great series with lots of fun characters. We are left with a small cliff hanger, if you can call it that, will Felicity's friend Autumn and Nick get together. After all, although she works at the hospital where he is, she has been checking on him a lot! I was given an ARC copy of the book, but the opinions in this review are strictly my own!

Jeff is in the hot seat this time and it's not pretty. We get a lot of background information on Jeff in this book. It's interesting how his character flaws were able to be played with in this book. When I say flaws... I mean that he's overly sweet, and it could be taken advantage of by the wrong people.

The book was a little odd without Jefferson helping out through out the sleuthing. We did get to see Autumn, Dawn, and Veronica in action this time. Other than Autumn, we never really get to see the other two very much in the book. I enjoyed seeing how they play off of each other through out the book. Also, having a little glimpse into the other character's heads helps us understand how they think.

I still don't really like Brian, but he might start growing on me. Overall, I enjoyed the book.

It is obvious to everyone, except Felicity, that Jefferson, her assistant is crazy about her. To Felicity, he is her best friend, supportive, helpful, dependable and kind, a true gentleman. However, when the group of friends meet up, it transpires that Whitney, one of Felicity's friends' friend dated Jefferson at high school. Old wounds surfaced, both parties were still smarting from the very nasty break-up and after hearing Whitney's side of the story, is Jefferson what he claims to be or is he an abusive, possessive, nasty boyfriend, especially when he did admit to giving Nick, Whitney's new boyfriend, a bloody nose and beating him up. More importantly, was Jefferson angry enough to shoot and kill Nick? After all, revenge is a dish best eaten cold.

This latest book in the Senoia Cosy Mystery series is the best so far, as always Felicity is around when a murder is committed, but this time it's her business partner Jefferson, who is accused. The plot from then on, is quite clever and I have to admit that it took a while for me to decide who was guilty. I really like the characters of Felicity, and Jefferson and the other minor characters are also well written.
This series is rapidly becoming one of the best US cosy mystery series and should be on the reading list for anyone who is a cosy mystery fan.

The Senoia gang is at it again

Love this murder solving group. When Jefferson is charged with a murder the group of friends work very hard to find out who actually framed one of their own. This story is pretty fast paced and will definitely entertain you for a couple of hours.

Another book in the Senoia Cozy Mystery series, and what a great series. This is a fun book. Another Overton event planned and murder was not on the menu. A total home run hit, there were so many suspects it was hard to decide who was guilty and who was not.
You need to read this book.
