I had nothing left. Only a child, and I’d already given up. My father wanted it that way.
He tore me apart bit by bit until I was nothing. And then he did the worst thing imaginable. … he gave me her.
From USA Today best selling author Willow Winters comes an emotional dark romance. Something to Remember is a 5,000 word prologue to the standalone, Forget Me Not.
Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.
In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!
Title: ➳ 💕 Something to Remember: Not Prequel to Forget Me Author: ➳ ❤ Willow Winters Published August 25, 2017
ღ This prequel –that will get you excited to read Forget Me Not. It’s just tease for what is yet to come You need to read this before you read ‘Forget Me Not’. It introduces you to the main characters & you find out how they met & you’ll get idea what the main characters went through.
This is a very short prequel, that has me dying to read the full story about the boy and the girl who meet each other under very horrific circumstance. The next book is "Forget Me Not" and I'm diving right in!!! I am glad that I read this prequel as it gives me an idea about what the main characters lived through in their past, and I am sure it will help me have some empathy for what the anti-hero is going to do...LOL I'm guessing!
This is a dark romance, so I am going to expect the unexpected!!!
Some days I swear I don’t feel anything anymore. Even the fear. It’s as if it doesn’t matter, like I don’t matter anymore.
This is a very short prequel to Forget Me Not. It gave a glimpse of Jay and Robin harrowing childhood experience. It's dark and sad, and hopefully the feel continues in the main book.
Something to Remember is an intense introduction to Jay and Robin's plight. It focuses on their connection in a horrible situation and the sacrifices each will endure.
I think I just held my breath the entire time I was reading this prologue. Omg! This is shaping up to be heartbreaking page turner. I can't wait to dive into Forget Me Not.
MERAVIGLIOSA introduzione che ho trovato a sorpresa all'inizio dell'eBook di Forget Me Not!
Amazing prequel that will have you wanting too one-click Forget Me Not when it comes out. I love this story, love the characters. Once you start reading you will be hooked.
I read this before the actual novel and it was really good, if you can call something that is about abuse "good". I felt the childrens' fear and their emotions were portrayed well. I would have wished for more though.
I was a little bit disappointed that one of the chapters of this prequel appeared in the actual novel as well.
The prequel takes us to the place where everything started. With Jay being abused by his father and the little girl unfortunately getting right in the middle of this whole mess.
Since this prequel is so short, I won’t mention anything else about the content.
Thoughts: After having read Forget Me Not first, there wasn't anything new or surprising in this prequel but if you haven't read the book yet and you're curious what the fuss is all about, check out this prequel and read about the nightmare those kids went through.
It doesn't really spoil the book since Forget Me Not happens years later, but if you want to go in blind, I'd suggest you don't read the prequel first and enjoy the book to the fullest without knowing anything beforehand. But it's not like it will give anything away on what makes the full length book so special.
I'm not sure if this short prequel makes much sense on its own. You will definitely want to read Forget Me Not after because I'm sure you will have lots of questions to be answered.
Personally, I'm not much a fan of prequels altogether. So you’ve to decide if you want to have a sneak peek into the nightmare which the kids went through. But you wouldn't miss out when you wouldn’t read it because there are plenty of those in the book as well.
This short prequel gives the smallest glimpse into the dark, crazy world that the boy's father orchestrates and the boy & Robin must endure. My heart breaks for the boy, who now must obey his father, or subject Robin to who-knows-what at the hands of his father. Well written and captivating, this prequel is the perfect introduction to Robin and the boy (Jay) when they are children as they learn that they will need to endure together. You will definitely want to read Forget Me Not after you read this prequel. Forget Me Not picks up 10 years after the prequel and is another 5 star book IMO!
Something to remember ( Prequel) is the beginning of Robin and Jay's Story. This story set 10 years before Forget me not, Read how Robin and Jay be come the broken souls they are, story was emotional and intense read, A must read.

I waited until the day before to read this, so I was in the mind set to read the next one. Can't wait to read Forget Me Not now. This story is a little darker than what I normally read but I don't care it has peaked my interests. Sometimes we need to get out of our reading bubbles and read something different. Come on Midnight!!!
