About the author

Lisa Daniels

Lisa Daniels is a (young) retired school teacher who resides in Miami. After five years of teaching, Lisa Daniels found that it wasn’t quite the world that she wanted to inhabit. After leaving her position, she moved to Miami. She hasn’t regretted it.

In her worlds, Lisa Daniels creates characters that go beyond the usual narrative. While they definitively include romance, Lisa Daniels strives to make the worlds more real with characters that are more than just cardboard cutouts of the genre. All of the main characters (and many of the secondary ones) have a rich history that span much longer than the stories themselves. This makes it easy to weave the stories together so that you can see characters you met in previous tales and see how they have managed since.

The Dragons of Letera is her first standalone series. Letera is a world teaming with romance, action, and stories – it is a world that Lisa Daniels loves to explore with her readers, one character at a time.

Frustrating...

Book 1 - rating 3. Annora is a dragon slayer who was hired to slay a particular Dragon that has torched a village. She is thought to be a ruthless man with her anonymity hidden she moves about unknown. Annora meets Elian, the alpha of his clan to search for the same Dragon but has hopes to rehabilitate her.

While the book was ok to read, I couldn't stand how she was referred as the Dragon hunter through the whole book. I thought this would be worth the 99¢ but it wasn't for me so far. I will give the next in the series to redeem itself but as with the first, I'm not having high hopes.

Book 2 - This book was a bit better at a rating of 4 and I will continue on with the series. Bree works with a group of supernaturals that ends up leading her to Calixto, a dragon shifter. Though I would have loved a little bit more at the end, it was a decent read.

The books could have been so much better.
I love dragon stories, but dragon stories that are thinly veiled sex romps are not so interesting.
The storyline in each book was very similar, only the names changed.

Each book starts out with a strong female. She meets the dragon and before a cursory hello they have sex.

read the first two books. The first book just randomly ended. It felt like she forgot she was telling a story and just figured they could walk into the sunset and that's the end. So I stated book 2 thinking it might continue, and while the story lines crossed it was it's own story.

Vengeance of a lessor God against humanoids....

Come read about these dragons and the very specially skilled women in their lives. And how they come together to stop a war.

Excellent stories full of adventure and love.

Fantasy thriller romance maybe

In this group of books many humanoid people fight a good fight against bad odds while falling in love and trying to save their world. Hard to put down.

I enjoyed the entire box set. Yes, some of the books were better than the others but anyone who enjoys stories with dragon- shifters finding their one true love will enjoy these books.

Intriguing, funny, and tragic

Exciting mix of characters and roundabout storyline that with all stories conclude the tale.

Great Book

Why Amazon insist on 20 words for a review via kindle, I don't know. Especially when I just want to say that I really enjoyed this book.
