This was a fantastic series that I wish had many more stories. Although I originally purchased these books in 2012, I enjoyed reading them again. It was a surprise that the last book had changed in name (which is why I didn't realize that I'd already read it before), but it was still good reading them again. I have read a lot of this author's books in the past, which I loved. Unfortunately, now I only get to enjoy the stories that are a part of the Kindle Unlimited program. I truly hope that there will be more titles available in the future. I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.
Good and evil. Darby is the good against the evil. The serial killer taking children. Darby is a teacher and was adopted. She really did not remember too much from her childhood.
Then she meets her neighbor, Aiden is he friend or foe?
They share a past that Darby does not know about.
This story is taking place in New Orleans. Spooks and cemeteries are always good to read.
This was the first Enforcers book that I read and it was delightfully easy to understand and be captured right away by the story. I will look for the other books in the series, but this one could stand alone. Aiden is the epitome of a hero and Darby is a reluctant heroine. And the bad guys are really bad! A good, quick read.
An interesting premise with two really interesting characters. Since this seems to be the start of a new series, I hope there will be more depth to the characters. A goodly amount of suspense but really predictable ending. Not my favorite Debra Webb book but still entertaining even with my above comments.
Interesting paranormal romance, a little more paranormal than I would normally read- but good nonetheless. Enjoyed the romance between Darby and Aiden.
