John Allison. You sir, are a genius. I've been reading this comic series for....just shy of two years now. It's one of my all-time fave series. It's probably the one series I go to when I'm feeling really down or when I need some laughs. This series, for me at least, is like a what reading on a rainy day feels like. Like getting a warm hug from a close friend. Like that first sip of fresh coffee on a Sunday morning. Or the first sip of cold water after being in the hot sun.

I love going back to revisit these characters every once and a while for a sort of comfort. BUT they don't come fast enough nor are the issues long enough! I end up reading them too fast since I'm too excited to read them!

description

This issue was no different. Loved it but it didn't last very long. I'm sure I'll end up going back to the beginning and re-reading all of them again.

If you haven't tried this series yet, I highly recommend it. I love it because the series focuses on the main characters friendships and less on romances. Plus I love the humour. I see myself in each of the characters, too. Which is fantastic since I feel a connection to each of their lives and am more invested in the series. Curse you, John Allison! You've made me a Giant Days junkie! You monster! Lol. Seriously, though. Go read them.

"What a profound message from the subconscious. File it under 'nebulous portents'."

So the gang is breaking up.
I don't feel quite as heartbroken as I should since majority of the time in these recent issues the conflict only last an issue or two then gets resolved.

This was wonderful but also a weird mix of happy and sad. Loved it.

This is sad, I can't see a good thing coming out of this (except maybe if Esther lives with Ed?). My Broken heart is broken again.

I don't see the girls break up lasting long at all. I've got the next few issues so we'll see. I'm lucky I'm so far behind on this series otherwise I might get discouraged with how long the wait between issues are and how small they are.

Ingrid is really frustrating me. She's abusive, manipulative and controlling. How is that at all acceptable?!
