Born into a wealthy household, Potter was educated by governesses and grew up isolated from other children. She had numerous pets, and through holidays in Scotland and the Lake District, developed a love of landscape, flora, and fauna, all of which she closely observed and painted. Because she was a woman, her parents discouraged intellectual development, but her study and paintings of fungi led her to be widely respected in the field of mycology.
In her thirties, Potter published the highly successful children's book The Tale of Peter Rabbit and became secretly engaged to her publisher, Norman Warne, causing a breach with her parents, who disapproved of his social status. Warne died before the wedding.
Potter eventually published 24 children's books, the most recent being The Tale of Kitty-in-Boots (2016), and having become financially independent of her parents, was able to buy a farm in the Lake District, which she extended with other purchases over time.
In her forties, she married a local solicitor, William Heelis. She became a sheep breeder and farmer while continuing to write and illustrate children's books. Potter died in 1943 and left almost all of her property to The National Trust in order to preserve the beauty of the Lake District as she had known it, protecting it from developers.
Potter's books continue to sell well throughout the world, in multiple languages. Her stories have been retold in various formats, including a ballet, films, and in animation.

Complete tale of peter rabbit
The tale of peter rabbit
A naughty peter rabbit would do what was told not to do, as his mother left and with advice not to go to Mr mcgregor farm as his father had an accident but he went against advice and went to farm and after food he has to run and run to save his life from McGregor because he was ruining his crops later after got saved he came back home without clothes and have supper and send to sleep.
The tale of Benjamin bunny
He is the smart from the lot when he came to know that Mr Mcgregor had gone to the city for work. He took peter to his green house to get his clothes back and vegetables for the family and he got his son back who is hidden there from the cat to be hunted.
The tale of Mr.mod
Mr . Tod is a honey badger and doesn't groom himself, he was kept guard by Rabbit couple but he did worst of all anf take kids to Tommy brock the fox as a food just for his comfort but Peter Rabbit and Benjamin rabbit and mr. Bouncer tried to find them and Peter and Benjamin found them and to safely get them home back they planned which leads to fight between Tommy brock and Mr.tod and they returned home safely with the little rabbit and rejoin with the family
The tale of flobsy bunnie
Benjamin Rabbit and Flopsy rabbit married and have a lot of children but they don't have enough food so they often borrow from Peter Rabbit they take to McGregor farm and children sleep instantly after eating Lettuce and Mr.Mcgregor thought he get rabbit, he gona sold them and get Rabbit Tobacco and Mrs.Mcgregor want Rabbit skin for herself but little did they know that Children has been rescued by Mrs.tittlemouse help and later on Christmas she received Rabbit fur and wool for herself to survive winter as thank for saving the family.

OVERALL THOUGHTS:
All four of Beatrix Potter's more tales about rabbits. I can definitely see why Beatrix's rabbits are among her most popular characters.

I don't normally read children's books; but in my travels through England I've picked up beloved classics like Beatrix Potter's The Complete Tales of Peter Rabbit. (Thank you Sophie!)
I'd never read any of the tales of Peter Rabbit, and I'm glad I was able to read four complete stories in one book.
Beautiful little stories and the illustrations that accompany them--felt like a kid again, reading about Peter Rabbit hiding in a bucket of water to stay clear of the cranky Mr. McGregor (who likes his rabbit stew).
The Tale of Mr. Tod has to be the most bizarre and it's the longest of the four. I'm sure if read out loud it would keep kids totally entranced and entertained. I sped-read through the repetitive parts and shared in Mr. Tod's disappointment when Mr. Tod's water-bucket-over-the-bed trick (on a sleeping badger-kidnapper, Tommy Brock) didn't work as planned.

We've had The Complete Tales of Beatrix Potter sitting around the house since the no longer small child was tiny and enchanted with such stories, rather than Harry Potter. I'd never read these as a kid, so I sat down and read a few every night.
The charm of these works is what all other kids books of this age range are measure against.
I can't call all the stories perfect, or even equally charming, but those that are genre defining really are perfect. These weren't stories for me, but for small children of a different time, which really means small children of most every time.
Ones time is always well spent with Beatrix Potter and her array of characters.

A beautiful book, and I especially like that they added some information about each story at the start of each section. I did feel like some of the illustrations were too small -- they definitely were struggling to get every single Potter story into one volume, so sometimes 6 pages from the original small book are fitted into one page of this book, making them even smaller than they were originally. It seems to defeat the purpose of having such a *big* book, and it would have been nice to see the lovely illustrations in a much larger size.

Absolutely adorable and such a treat to spend time re-reading all 23 of these beautifully illustrated tales 💜. My childhood favourite was The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck but has now changed to The Tale of Pigling Bland.

The classic children's book. All of Peter Rabbit's stories in one beautifully illustrated volume. A masterpiece and must read for all children, and the young at heart.

So happy to finally have read the complete Peter Rabbit books by Beatrix Potter and to own a beautiful collectible edition by B&N. Classic, whimsical, charming stories for young and old alike.

This book is a children's classic and a comfort read. The illustrations in the book are absolutely adorable. I recommend this book to readers of all ages looking for something sweet.
