I do remember that I was barely old enough to cross the street by myself when I discovered the delights of the local library. Could anything be more wonderful than spending summer days surrounded by stacks of Nancy Drew mysteries? Over the years I fell in love with Victoria Holt, Jane Austen, Agatha Christie, and J.R.R. Tolkien just to name a few. I read poetry, essays, biographies, and plays. In fact, I read anything I could get my hands on.
Years later (no, I'm not admitting how many) I'm still an avid reader, and my tastes are still as varied as they were in my youth, which I suppose helps to explain why I enjoy writing regency historicals under the name of Deborah Raleigh, as well as my contemporary paranormals as Alexandra Ivy. For now that is enough to keep me busy, but who knows what the future might hold!
I do have a few other loves in my life besides reading and writing, the most important being my unbelievably patient husband, David, and my two sons, Chance and Alexander. Without their constant support and belief in me, I never could have been able to follow my dreams. They are truly my heroes.

I received a free copy of this book bundle and am voluntarily leaving my reviews. If you haven’t read any of the 1001 Dark Nights books, you have been missing out. Each book/book bundle is a treasure. So many amazing authors have contributed stories to 1001 Dark Nights that I recommend you look them all up. Bundle Twelve contains stories by Alexandra Ivy & Laura Wright, Lorelei James, Lara Adrian, and new-to-me authors Nazarea Andrews and Megan Erickson. Overall, I give the bundle five stars because each of the six stories kept my interest with likable, interesting characters.
Kayden/Simon by Alexandra Ivy & Laura Wright are two separate novellas that are part of their Bayou Heat series, which take place deep in the Louisiana Bayou, where a race of puma shifters called the Pantera call home. If you’re already a fan of the Bayou Heat series, then you’ll most certainly enjoy the stories of Kayden and Simon. If you haven’t read any of the Bayou Heat books and you’re a fan of shifter series, then you’ll soon become a fan of the intricate and exciting world of the Pantera, since each story leaves you wanting more of them. I sure do.
Kayden is seeking revenge for the deaths of his parents when he encounters, and then kidnaps, the daughter of his target. Bianca has been sheltered her entire life due to her treatment for, and cure of, cancer by her father, Joshua Ford. Kayden realizes that Bianca is his mate but doesn’t understand why, and they soon find out that things aren’t always what they seem.
Simon left the world of the Pantera years ago and has no desire to return. However, the Guardians need his help so they send their best hunter to track him down and bring him back. Tryst is a lethal Hunter, who wishes she could remain in her cat form 24/7. When she finds Simon, there is an instant attraction which leaves her baffled. Simon escapes her capture and heads to one of his safe houses, but Tryst is a Hunter and soon has him where she wants him. She finds she doesn’t want to return to the Bayou quite yet, especially after she discovers his secret – the secret that drove him from their world. As they discover their need for each other, a betrayal could destroy any chance at happiness for them both.
Strung Up, a Blacktop Cowboys Novella by Lorelei James is a second chance, M/M cowboy romance story. It’s a heartfelt story about Cres, who must find a way to move on from tragedy, and Breck, who must find a way to move on from disgrace, humiliation, and discrimination. Cres has the loving support of his family no matter what he does, but Breck was disowned by his family for who he is. When the two meet again after several years, the spark still exists, but are they both willing to take a chance at happiness? These two characters are very likable as are the others in the story, so I look forward to reading more books in the series.
Midnight Untamed is a Midnight Breed Novella by Lara Adrian. I have been a fan of this fabulous vampire series for quite a while, so I knew liking this story would be a “no brainer" for me. All of the stories of the Midnight Breed and The Order are interesting, compelling, exciting, and steamy – just the way I like my vampires. This Novella focuses on a member of The Order, Ettore “Savage” Selvaggio, who encounters a woman from his past – Arabella “Bella” Genova, a rare Breedmate – while on a critical mission outside of Rome. As expected, this was a quick read that I thoroughly enjoyed as I know all fans of the Midnight Breed will. If you are not yet a fan and enjoy sexy, alpha vampires, I suggest you get started on the Midnight Breed novels. The Midnight Breed world is like no other.
Dirty Sexy Secret is part of the Green County series by Nazarea Andrews. The title of the book did not prepare me for the intense storyline of three adults – Hazel, Eli, and Archer – who were orphaned and raised together when each of their parents were killed in the same plane crash sixteen years ago. I also wasn’t prepared for the dark side of the story. Even though some of the dialogue wasn’t completely straightforward, I was drawn in by the characters and definitely want to check out the next books.
Bite The Hand That Bleeds is part of the Mission series by Megan Erickson. I enjoyed this short prequel novel about the vampire world of the Gregorie clan and a vampire club called “Bite”. I’m definitely interested in getting into more of the stories in the series. Great if you're looking for a very quick vampire read.

3.5- 4 stars! This is another great addition to 1,001 Dark Nights series! I love these anthologies and have found some great new authors in them!

Kayden by Alexandra Ivy- 3.5-4 stars. This was a really good, quick read! I really liked Becca and Kayden. I wanted to see them actually shift and be with their pack. It was a little abrupt in the ending. This was my first read by this author and in this series, but I definitely want to read more! Very interesting and different take on shifters! Puma shifters at that!
Simon by Laura Wright- 3.5-4 stars. Also really good! I liked Simon and Tryst. They were really hot together! I still thought the ending was abrupt, but I definitely want to read more from this series.
Strung Up by Lorelei James- 4 stars. This was a good read. M/M is not my thing. It just doesn't ring my bell, so to speak. But I still enjoyed this book for the interesting story. I definitely felt the connection between Cres and Breck. I like the story. I liked the western/rodeo setting.
The writing was good. It was a good length with lots of depth to the characters. I definitely want to read more of this series too.

There is some insta-love, suspense, sweet and sexy times. All good stuff.This was my first read by this author and and I definitely want to read more from this series.
Dirty Sexy Secrets by Nazarea Andrews- 3.25-3.5 stars. This was a pretty good read. This felt like a full length novel and I did like that. There were parts of this I liked and parts I didn't. I liked the story. It was interesting, different and fast paced. I wasn't sure about the writing style at first. It was so fast paced that I felt like I might be missing something but I got used to it after a bit. I liked Hazel and Archer. I definitely felt their connection. There was a good bit of suspense, some family drama, good friends, a bit of a taboo relationships, humor and love. It did feel a little overly dramatic and high school drama at times. Archer was a manwhore and it is brought up often with no mention of Hazel's partners/past. There is a lot of mentioned of secrets from the past that we're left to just wonder about for much of the book. I hated Hazel's nickname, Hazy Eyes. And the words "Green County" is mentioned about 50 times. There were small annoyances like that. But overall, I was definitely entertained and wanted to find out what happened in the end. I did need a bit more resolution and an epilogue would have been awesome to see how the couple's future turned out. There were a few plot holes and things that happened that were never fully explained. Still, I did enjoy this book overall and I would definitely try this author again in the future.

This prequel was pretty different than Blood Guard, book 1 in the series. It is much sexier and less YA feeling. Looking forward to more from this series!
Overall, I enjoyed all the stories in this bundle! I definitely recommend this series. It is packed full of great novellas and stories I have loved!

I was pulled right into these short stories. They contain a little bit of everything you need to pull you in and keep you turning the pages. As with every anthology this is a great way to try out a new author. You will laugh, cringe, and sigh right along with the authors.
All the stories in this anthology were good and will keep you turning the pages. Even if you have not read the others in a series you will be able to follow along. If you have read the series that some of these are a part of it just makes you want to take a trip back to those series and maybe do a re-read of them. No matter what story in this box you will enjoy.
This Anthology has stories from authors that could be new to you but you will not be disappointed. I love reading new authors and with time so limited it’s hard sometimes to get to new ones. This is a perfect chance to read and see if you like the writing of a new author. You get a little insight into their stories to see if you want to read more. Even if just one of the stories is not to your liking you have more than enough to get you through the entire Anthology.
You get revenge, sexy cowboys, danger, suspense, second chances and so much more. Pick one to read or try all of them. Somewhere is this box you will find the right book for you.

New to me author.. WOW this short read is packed with total hotness.

Are things going to be better the second time around for Breck and Cres?
Yes this is a M/M story but oh my gosh it's good.

Shifters, and vampires, and cowboys, oh my! This bundle has it all, with six novellas that are just the right size for when you don't want to start something longer.
Alexandra Ivy and Laura Wright deliver with two tales of puma shifters in the Wildlands finding The One for them! They definitely made me want to read more in this world!
Lorelei James brings it with a story about a man recovering from a tragic event and his attempts to get over his grief and move on. It's scorchin hot and sexy, just like you'd expect from Lorelei James!
If you are into action and suspense, Laura Adrian delivers with Midnight Untamed, which proves that time and distance doesn't always douse the flames of love. Another novella that makes me want to read more.
And Megan Erickson's Bite The Hand That Bleeds is one of my favorites this year and in this set of novellas. This story is super hot and sexy and I loved it!
Overall, a nice collection of novellas with something for everyone!

1001 Nights Bundle 12 once again brings us 6 great stories from 6 incredible authors bringing us novellas from some of their greatest work. Authors in bundle 12 include...Alexandra Ivy and Laura Wright, (Both including novellas from Bayou Heat). Strung Up by Lorelei James from her Blacktop Cowboys Series, Midnight Untamed by Lara Adrian from her Midnight Breed series and two new authors to the collection, Nazarea Andrews Dirty Sexy Secret and Megan Erickson’s Bite the hand That Bleeds.
Out of the six of these novellas, I highly enjoyed the Pantera books by Alexandra and Laura featuring sexy heroes Kayden and Simon, both trying to put down the evil Benson.
Of course, Lara Adrian’s Midnight Untamed was probably my favorite of the whole collection, though Ms. Andrews and Ms Ericksons novellas were both equally as enjoyable. The 1001 Nights series proves once again that the franchise knows how to pull some amazing authors together.

I love these bundles. First I love that I get variety and steamy/sexy stories in one nice little package, second I love all the authors and it's a great way to catch up with their stories.
I love paranormal but for somr reasons I always wait for these bundles to read it..but give me shifters and vampires and I am a happy woman ;)
Lorelei and her cowboys are always welcome..God, these two were scorching and I loved their story.
Nazarea Andrews is a great addiction..I read her books before and I love her style.
Megan Erickson..well I wasn't really familiar with her work but she certainly intrigued and entertained me so I found a new author too.

I loved each and every story in this collection! Some were a new experience for me, I had never read a gay mens romance. Wow, it was a beautiful hot sexy love story. Each story was different and definitely worth a read. Loved, loved, loved it

5 amazing stars
Grouping 6 different novels from 6 different authors, this latest release of the 1001 Dark Nights bundle brought me back to the books from authors that I absolutely enjoy reading from. There's just something about being able to read them once again with the characters that these authors that these authors brought to life. There was a mixture of everything in this bundle and like the many previous ones i had a chance to read, the twelfth bundle reunited the perfect mixture of everything!
