After a run of bad luck, Elizabeth Walker is desperate to make some extra money. College is so important to her, and she won’t do anything to risk losing that. So, signing up to a Sugar Daddy website, where older, wealthy men find younger women, really is the only way to go. But no one seems interested in her as she’s a chubbier candidate—until lawyer Daniel Clark asks for a date.
Daniel is tired of women declaring undying love for him, when all they want is his bank balance. There’s only one love in his life, and that’s the law. Seeing Elizabeth’s picture, he wants her, no doubt about that, and he’s going to have her. Before he agrees to anything, he gives her his ground
1) He’s in charge. 2) He’ll give her more pleasure than she’s ever had. 3) Under no circumstances is she to fall in love with him.
Can Elizabeth follow his rules? Will Daniel finally fall in love? Will Elizabeth walk away with a broken heart? They’re Daniel’s rules, but like he says, rules are made to be broken.
Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound. She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.
I loved everything about this! Young socially awkward heroine down on her luck joined a sugar daddy website as a last resort and she is contacted by the hot Hero who is 19 yrs older for a monogamous ‘just sex’ arrangement. I loved how they fought their feelings but couldn’t help be kinder and sweeter to each other still under the guise of the arrangement. The Hero is actually the main pursuer as he kept on changing the rules to be closer to the heroine. The smexy times are steamy and there’s a right amount of angst and a good grovel speech.
No ow/om drama as H makes it clear that he is with heroine, no cheating.
"Sugar Daddy" is the story of Elizabeth and Daniel.
A broke curvy college student signs up for a sugar daddy website when she faces serious financial difficulties and risks being unhoused. The only man who picks her up is the older H who is a lawyer. They embark on a purely sexual relationship which turns into much more as emotions get involved and both start falling for one another. There is some expected drama, but I liked how caring the H was.
Slow burn romance with loads of sex and sweet emotions.
I really enjoyed this one. I liked both Daniel and Elizabeth. I liked that Elizabeth didn't fall at his feet at the beginning. That her feelings grow with each day when Daniels soft side is revealed. Daniel... Well, he's older with dirty mouth. And like I said above he has a softer/sweeter side. A bit stubborn, but I guess you can expect with this type of alpha. I hope more of Suggar Daddy storyline in the future from Sam.
Elizabeth had a bad run of luck and now she needs money fast, she owes the hospital and her landlord plus she needs to buy books for school. She's 21 years old and a college student working at a local coffee shop as many hours as she can. She overhears some female students talking about a Sugar Daddy website and that they made lots of money. She's reluctant at first because she's a full figured woman and the rest of the women on the site are not but she has no choice or she'll be evicted. Daniel Clark is 40 years old and a very successful attorney his only love is for the law. But he's a man and he has needs so when he overhears co-workers talking about the Sugar Daddy website he decides to check it out. He's not interested in any of the stick-thin women on the site and he's about to give up until he sees Elizabeth's picture and profile. Elizabeth is surprised when she finally gets a message from Daniel asking her to meet at the same coffee shop where she works. Daniel has three rules that he wants Elizabeth to follow if she wants to be his Sugar Baby : 1.) He's in charge. 2.) He'll give her more pleasure than she's ever had. 3.) Under no circumstances is she to fall in love with him. Elizabeth has no intention of falling in love and she's only had sex one time at her prom and it wasn't memorable so she agrees to Daniel's rules. Daniel wasn't expecting Elizabeth to be so cold towards him and even though he should be glad it bothers him. This was a really sweet book and Daniel was great he may have acted tough about the rules but he ended up falling hard.
There was so many missed opportunities that would have made this book so much better. All the monthly time jumps frustrated me as I feel as though we only got half of the story. I know it’s short so the author can only do so much but I was just left wanting. It was still an enjoyable read.
I.FALL.IN.LOVE with everything in this book! Absolutely amazing! The plot, the character, the problems, the problem solving, the conclusion. And most of all? The connection between the hero and heroine. Fantastic! Everything!!!
The story was a little bit different than another Sam Crescent's book, they aren't falling fast and wham bang, no. It slow and easy to follow. They both have strong character, stubborn, and oh so sweet. Their feeling built up and up and up and when its on the peak? Perfect ending!
This is the story when the hero alpha male often questioning the heroine's acts. And that was sweet. Yes yes, the heroine was a curvy and so beautiful and yes, the hero was well built but I still fall for them. Absolutely nice reading. Warm-hearted kind of book you'll never regret to read every paragraph of it. Until The End.
Wow !! This is a very hot, very exciting book that Sam has gifted us with !! I love Daniel and Lizzie !! I love their story !! So much passion and life in their story !! Thank you Sam l! 💛💛
I dig this book!! I have said many times I love Sam Crescent books!! something about them speaks to me!!! I love the chara in it!! Lizzie and Daniel are so AHHHh!!! I love how Lizzie was the one putting up the wall between the two honoring the agreement and Daniel was the one falling for her breaking all the rules for her!!
The Steamy Scenes were great and I enjoyed how it started to the end!!

Elizabeth has had a bad run of things lately and now she needs money fast. She is already working at a local coffee shop but she's not earning enough. Until she hears about a Sugar Daddy website. At first she doesn't know if she can go through with it, but eventually she has no choice. And then she meets Daniel Daniel Clark is 40 year old successful attorney and he doesn't need anything but his job. But he's a man with needs and he doesn't have the time for dating and getting to know women. So when hears about this website he joins and immediately he's attracted to Elizabeth's profile. When they meet he tells her he has three rules: 1.He's in charge. 2.He'll give her more pleasure than she's ever had. 3.Under no circumstances is she to fall in love with him.
So why is he annoyed when Elizabeth is the one that keeps on reminding him of his rules. And she is normally the first one to get away from her when they have their time together. Could he be the one falling in love?
This was a sweet one, no insta love from both characters. Their feelings grew for each other the more time they spent together. And I liked that Elizabeth didn't make it too easy for Daniel :-)
I recently finished this book for the 2nd time and the beginning was great, and I remembered I gave this book the score of 4 stars. I couldn't understand why...until I reached about half of the book. I love the story but there are so many moments when I was annoyed the book wasn't longer. It needed to be longer. Why? There are several moments, starting from the half of the book and continuing towards the end of it where the author chose not to describe moments that in my opinion would have helped the story, and that's because there are not enough pages for the ideas the author wanted to add. The plotlines were added, but they were more told ,instead of described. Two months just passed from one chapter to the next in which the protagonists already got more familiar with each other, but we don't see those moments really happen, which would have really helped the book. If the book was longer and the plotlines were described when they happened and not just told from the memory or judgement of the hero or heroine, this book would have been a certain 5 stars. The story is enjoyable though, that's why the score is 4 stars, so I do recommend, since it's a fun read and there are not that many good sugar daddy - sugar baby books.
3.45 Stars This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I liked Lizzie and Daniel together but I didn’t feel much chemistry between them. I wanted to see a little spark between them but I didn’t. I don’t think it was Lizzie’s fault, I felt like it was Daniel’s fault. Because he was so determined not to love or have someone love him, he was kind of closed off. I wanted him to give love a chance. I did feel like Daniel gave Lizzie mixed messages. He didn’t like how closed off she seemed yet he didn’t want her falling in love with him. When Lizzie tried to keep Daniel at arms length, he pulled her closer. Yet when Lizzie developed and admitted her feelings for him, he pushed her away, leaving her to celebrate Christmas on her own. I liked that Lizzie worked out Billy’s games and called him out on it. I liked that she didn’t fall for his tricks. My favourite part of this book was the ending. I liked that Daniel finally gave in and officially claimed his woman. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and a nice read.
This book was full of sugar and spice and all things nice.
Elizabeth is having a hard time all these bills piling up and not enough money to pay them. So when she hears some girls talking about this website where they earn money for keeping older men company she gets up the courage to put her profile on there but after a week of no messages she decides to take it down.
But fate has other plans and this curvy girl is about to go on an adventure a steamy one with super handsome lawyer Daniel.
Daniel knows what he wants and he gets it he is a no-nonsense busy guy that just wants Elizabeth.
But what they don't intend on is cupid shooting his arrow at them both. And this stubborn duo is soon falling and falling hard for one another.
Will they live happily ever after?
I loved this book it was everything and more than I needed in a romance book this author can do no wrong.

But I must say I normally love anything this author writes, but sorry this one fell short this time. I don't know what it was but I failed to connect with the characters, which for me is paramout to a good book, I want to become the female lead. In all her wonderful f%%ked up Glory. That is how I read never mind Sam Crescent is my go to author so next please
This book was cute and quirky and I loved it . Elizabeth is a student that has fallen on hard times and uses a website for sugar daddy's. Now Elizabeth isn't like the skinny girls on the website she is much fuller , so when she gets a request for a meeting from a potential sugar daddy Elizabeth is in shock . When Elizabeth and Daniel met he explains the rules to her , but even rules are made to be broken but they aren't being broken by Elizabeth they are being broken by Daniel. He soon learns that the one person he wants in his life is the one person he told "NOT TO FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM ". This book has a HEA .
This was more like a 1 1/2 stars for me. The writing was frustrating at times and the characters were flat. I couldn't find much in the way of romance with the couple... A lot of the romance happens off scene which made it hard to connect with their relationship. I was moderately annoyed that the conflicting behavior of Daniel and felt frustrated that it just resolved without any issue. I was ready for a really taboo sexy story but in the grand scheme, it didn't feel all that special. Overall I think there are other eroticas with better characters if that's what your looking for.
Upside, great representation that did make me smile.
Not a bad story. I really like the premise of the story and the female leads character. But like I said before with this author's stories. The female leads tend to be way to weak. They really need to stand up forthemselves. I can identify with some traits of this character. But mainly I just want to strangle them. The male lead was an ass at first. But I loved the way he had to chase her. He had rules. He doesn't follow 'em with her. I really liked that she always walked away though. She was the first.
The H is rather unlikable and pathetic. He's a bit flakey, both controlling and super needy. He's a terrible lawyer. They keep talking about an agreement with rules. When exactly was this signed? And not once does the H follow his own rules. Seriously????
For the most part I liked the h. I was rooting for her to dump him. She deserved better.
The bit where he gets sick was *chefs kiss*. Men are so dramatic lmao.
I just adore this story. Daniel and Elizabeth are a delightful couple. From page one until the end keeps you wanting to read it in one day. The writing and flow of this book is done well.I highly recommend this book.
“Yeah, but I’m not a rapist..." (Yeah, I fucking hope you're not. This is the bare fucking minimum guys.)
"Age doesn’t mean shit." (Yeah, no, I gotta disagree. Age gaps are fucking weird, especially if one person is old as fuck and the other recently turned the legal age. )
My favourite SC story so far! It was truly sweet and romantic, I loved that they had their journey and didn't fall in love instantly. An adorable couple, loved them both so much!
