This is a series that I have not read the first book. However it can be read as a stand-alone. In true form though within the first few chapters I wanted to know about the family I obviously missed. What a fantastic set of brothers. This is Logan’s story.
Left - cheated on - Shay broke his heart. In return Logan takes on jobs that take him away. She ruined him. But now that same girl needs him. Witnessing an act that she should have never seen Shay is getting threatened. Fearing for her life she calls on the only man she can trust to help and protect her - but will he forgive her.
This is a second chance romance that is touching and satisfying all at the same time. This is where the author gets you - all the secondary characters you want to know their past and look forward to their future.
Logan and Shay are well written characters with a lot of turmoil in their past. You might not care for the female lead but give it a chance - things aren’t always as they seem or maybe not as bad - can’t really push that statement much more due to spoilers.
The writing is solid and was a great sit by the fire page turner. Thank you for the ARC! Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets! I’m going back to grab number one!

What an amazing story! I loved Logan; can you say hot ALPHA man!!!! I couldn’t get enough of him.
Shay was such a strong, determined woman. She took risks but those risks were for the betterment for other people. Logan and Shay are brought back together when she needs him and his skills.
Can he save her from the evil that is after her? This is a second book in a series but can be read as a stand-alone.

I gave this book 4.5 stars!!!
I again started this book right before bed, with the attention of only reading a few chapters and I ended up reading the whole dang thing!!! Love that an author can make you want to not put a book down and this one author that I can honestly say does that for me! This is Logan and Shay story. We briefly meet Logan in Winter and Wyatt's story, so I was curious to see where Logan goes on these secret missions, because we all know that the Hunter brother's are in some kind on law enforcement.
Logan is in the middle of Mexico trying to get info out of suspect when his phone that never rings starts too. He knows there is only one person who would call that phone and she would have be in trouble for her to call considering she is the reason why I do high risk missions now. With me bound back to US to help her I will have to fight not to fall for her again. I have to remember all the reasons I hate her and not give in.
Shay doesn't want to have to call Logan, not after what she had to do to him. She didn't have a choice at the time and need to spare him of the pain he would have to endure if he she would let him stay or if she married him. With her life on the line and the mob after her she knows Logan is the only one that can save her. But she wasn't prepared for the old feelings to surface and she knows she has to tell him the truth about the night he caught her with his best friend and partner. Will they be able to survive the mob and each other and can they move on and get their HEA?
I highly recommend the Hunter Brother books and I cant wait to see which one we get next.

The Hunter Brothers will do anything for the one they are meant to be with and this couldn’t be truer in Logan’s story. This is book two in the Hunter Brother’s series; however, each can be read as a standalone, but I will warn you that you will be wanting to read the others cause the snippets you see of this family has you falling in love with them. The story is told from a dual POV told between the past and the present to allow you to how they became apart and how they are brought together after two years of being heartbroken.
Logan a former NYPD swat member, protective, the most sensitive of the brothers and beyond hurt over the event that left him leaving the country on the BIG day. You feel his heartbreak; however, you also feel Shay’s side as well. You want to hate her for what he thinks she did, but be still your heart when the talk is finally spoken. Shay is strong in so many ways and she thinks and loves with her heart in all aspects of her life including work.
Shay’s life is in danger and that one call to Logan has him coming back to assist in her issue she is in (I have to leave it at this to avoid any spoilers). You will love him even more when he doesn’t even think twice either. These two are soul mates; however, secrets and heartache have pulled these two apart. Once they are revealed can they be together and can she be saved in her issue that she found herself in are the questions you will be wanting to know.
This book pulls you in and you are left reading this in all or almost one sitting cause you want to know so much not only on them, but the added suspense we get and how things all play out. You will laugh, cry and be hoping for the best outcome. This story is truly about a second chance at life and romance including how nerve wrecking it can be to have your whole family in one of the most dangerous professions. My heart breaks for not only the characters, but a character that you shall see snippets on. Oh, I so want to say more, but cannot and will not ruin the story for. I’m just glad it worked out per say and maybe a somewhat appearance can be made going forward. Trust me read the story and you will see who I am speaking of. I love and laugh at Shelby and Kat cause these two girls are hilarious. I cannot wait to read the next story on the Hunter brothers.

I love this series and the Hunter brothers. They are so intense, protective and just so... man. I find it bittersweet how each brother is his own man and has his own life experience but the adult man was basically formed by the death of their sister when they were younger. The author reflects how each was affected by it and how it made them who they are today.
Anything for Her is the story of Logan and Shay. When they first met they rubbed each other the wrong way. Then they became friends and then so much more. Logan hadn't been that happy in years and Shay was the reason. He proposed to her and was looking forward to what the future would bring. All of that came crashing down when he walked in on her and his best friend together.
After finding Shay with his best friend Logan left his job as NYPD SWAT and took on dangerous rescue missions. This kept him away as much as possible and fed his need for high risk situations that kept him from thinking about the past. Out of the blue 2 years later Shay calls Logan and says she needs his help. Logan being the amazing man that he is drops everything to go back and help her. He swears that he won't treat the situation as anything more than a job, but he promised her if she ever needed him he would be there and that's exactly what he was doing.
Shay has so many secrets and regrets about her past, but the one thing she doesn't regret is protecting Logan. No matter how much she still loved him and always would she wanted to stay away so he could have the happy life he deserved. But, when she finds herself being hunted down by a powerful man with mob connections she doesn't have anyone else to turn to.
Logan and Shay have more fireworks than anyone else I've read in a long time. There is so much tension between them. They are either fighting or loving each other. Very little in between. But, through it all you can feel the true love that they feel for one another.

Will Logan help Shay and will he forgive her for the past? Can he keep her safe from Malone and discover who is leaking information before it's too late?
This is the second book in the series and I am loving the Hunter brothers!
Logan was so hurt from what happened in the past that he has a hard time forgiving Shay but at the same time does not want anything to happen to her. I liked learning about Shay's past and discovering what really happened and Shay's actions and my heart definitely broke over why she did what she did.
Shay was strong but at the same time knew she was in over her head. I was shocked at how long she had been putting up with threats before getting help. I liked her honesty with Logan when she finally told him everything about her past.
There were some twists and turns involving Malone that I did not see coming and I loved how the book kept you involved from start to finish!

Lola StVil is brand spanking new to me and holy smokes am I glad I took a chance on this book y'all. Sexy. Sweet. Fun. Engaging plot. Addicting characters. Great back and forth banter. Anything for Her is the second book in the Hunter Brother's series and it is not one you want to miss... a beautiful second chance that will make your heart burst at the seams then sigh with happiness by the end.
He's coming back....for her.
They had it all until certain heartbreaking events led to their separation. He tried to move on. So did she. But now she needs him.... desperately and as he races back to her, he's going to find a lot more than he realizes. With secrets being exposed and truths revealed, can he find it in his heart to love her again? Will she get her happy ending?

Plot: Logan and Shay had a beautiful relationship and then right before they were supposed to get married, she seemingly cheated on him and left. It's been a couple of years and neither of them are over it, but when she finds herself in danger, he's the only one she can call. He agrees to help her, but he'll do whatever he can to not get caught in her snare again. Except that not everything is as it seems.
Commentary: I never like the "I"m breaking up with you for your own good" trope, and to add the "making it look like cheating" when she could have told him she had cancer, and then spending all that time justifying it, like she was the noble one. Did he like hospitals? No. Few people do. Did he have some trauma around sick loved ones? Yes. A lot of people do. She acted like what she was going through was so unusual and would break him. I don't think it was selfish, exactly, but it wasn't the heroic act of selflessness that she purported. It was dumb, is what it was. She was completely in the wrong, and I almost never find the woman in the wrong in a second chance romance.

Anything For Her (The Hunter Brothers Book 2) was an addictive, action packed full length novel that I had a hard time putting down. I loved that it was a full length novel, it didn’t disappoint the expectation and excitement that I had from reading the blurb.
It was the first book that I had the pleasure of reading by Lola St. Vil, I will definitely be adding her other books to my TBR list, starting with book 1 in the series. Logan doesn’t do relationships, he is jaded after his relationship with Shay ended, but when she calls asking him for his help he drops everything to head back to the states to help her. Proving that he still cares for her.
I love second chance troupes, I love seeing two people like Logan and Shay who so obviously belong together get their second chance at happiness. Lola has written this story so perfectly by doing it with the combination having the duel perspective, going back and forth between the past and the present. In doing so this book is action, it is fast pace and it definitely plays with your emotions. It is brilliant, I adored it.

Neither of them knows what to expect. There is a lot of hurt and resentment. Upon learning her ordeal, he makes arrangements to protect her and at the same time, he wants to get to the bottom of the reason why they split up in the first place. What he uncovers comes as a shock. She lied to him. Can they rekindle what they once had?
The storyline has some similarities to book one and is quite emotional. Logan is protective towards those he loves, but his temper always gets the better of him. Once he makes up his mind, he is hard to reason with. Shay has been through a hard time and deep down she has always hoped that they would reunite. After numerous shouting matches and life threatening situations, they eventually start to see eye to eye which leads to a long overdue outcome. This thriller romance is a rollercoaster of a ride.

This is my second book and the second in this series by Lola StVil and I am in love with her writing. I have wiped the tears from my eyes and my heart can now stop racing.
I was captured by the characters from the first pages. Logan is so protective, moody and hurt by Shay. They have been apart for two years and now Shay needs his help; I could pass out with lust for the sexy man he is. I did expect to fall in love with Logan, just like I fell in love with Wyatt in the previous book.
The characters are so well written that you feel you know them. I got very nervous and jittery for Shay, my heart was pounding for her a few times and I also shed a fair few tears at different parts of the story, happy and desperate tears. I'm so sappy.

I was captured by the characters from the first pages. Logan is so protective, moody and hurt by Shay. They have been apart for two years and now Shay needs his help; I could pass out with lust for the sexy man he is. I did expect to fall in love with Logan, just like I fell in love with Wyatt in the previous book.
The characters are so well written that you feel you know them. I got very nervous and jittery for Shay, my heart was pounding for her a few times and I also shed a fair few tears at different parts of the story, happy and desperate tears. I'm so sappy.

This is the second book in the series and I am loving the Hunter brothers!
Logan was so hurt from what happened in the past that he has a hard time forgiving Shay but at the same time does not want anything to happen to her. I liked learning about Shay's past and discovering what really happened and Shay's actions and my heart definitely broke over why she did what she did.
Shay was strong but at the same time knew she was in over her head. I was shocked at how long she had been putting up with threats before getting help. I liked her honesty with Logan when she finally told him everything about her past.
There were some twists and turns involving Malone that I did not see coming and I loved how the book kept you involved from start to finish!
The ending was great and I look forward to more books with the Hunter brothers!!

Received an ARC at no cost to author..This is the the second book in this series with The Hunter Brothers, however can be read as a standalone, since I started with this one and I was not lost. This is also a second chance love story full action and thrills. We meet Logan who is doesn't do relationships after his past relationship with Shay ended. However, when Shay contacts him needed him he immediately comes to assist her. And then my friends the fun begins..Enjoy!

This series is awesome!!! Book two in the series is my favorite so far. The storyline and the development of their meeting after such a long time was great. When secrets stay hidden for so long it becomes hard and sometimes impossible to talk about it. This book took me through a rollercoaster ride of twists, turns, and surprises. I laughed, and cried. I loved and hated. This book was an amazing addition to a fantastic series. Thank you for allowing me to read this and honestly write about it.

Oh wow! What a rollercoaster! So much feelings and actions. This book took me a walk through different cases of abuses and, boy, did that touched my heart, though the main plot was finding the long lost love; the main theme, i thought, was love would find a way. The way the story laid out was thorough. There was also a bit of actions due to H and h circumtances. As for the sexy scenes, huft! Nothing beats an explosive sexy time after rages; those emotions was raw and hot!!
