Lottie!!! While she doesn’t manage to snoop around the cast of Giant Days as much as she would have in Bad Machinery, Lottie added a fun dynamic and a bold outsider’s point of view to the current situations that’ve been stewing for a while. Having said that, Lottie did feel a bit out of character and I can’t pinpoint why, other than the very different drawing style, after having John Allison’s artwork on her entire run.

A fun issue that should push the series forward and make for an interesting #36.

"Um, I think that you will find that I am Esther concentrated."

After the horrific events of the previous evening, Esther deals with a monstrous hangover, a butt load of guilt, and her friend Sarah's little sister, Lottie.

Lottie becomes the main plot device in this issue, providing a new hilarious dynamic, while also allowing each of the girl's plot lines to play out individually. Lottie's remarks are pure gold, as you can see from the example above. Lottie was so refreshing and adorable, she really made this issue 5 stars!

From the mouth of babes indeed as Lottie dropped some observations of the crew from an outsiders perspective that gave everyone something to think about which in turns were funny and honest.

What a great single issue!

Still great!

Giant days continues to interest me! I didn't give this one 5 stars because I was a little confused about Esther's friend and her sister, but I loved the end as always.

Oh, I love Lottie, AKA Esther concentrated! Daisy better take her advice, RE Ingrid. Also, poor Ed, all physically and emotionally damaged. I want them all happy!

Flip yes! Little Lotties was dropping some hella truth bombs in this issue and the ending line of “I will!” brings me some hope that Daisy might finally stop getting pushed around. She’s not meant for damp drug caves and raves. Enoughs enough daisy!
An interesting wrap up for Ed and Esther. I think he needs better too?!
