The first part of volume 1 was good, but this was great! I was on the edge of my seat especially in the last chapter! (The build up for Moriarty is that good!) Hoo boy, despite the reveal of the devil at the end, I'm still suspicious if they are indeed the real antagonist as they claimed to be. I mean... you never know, you know?

Although I was expecting bits of light hearted moments of Loki and Lori (ex. some silly banter or their living situation within their shared unit), it's alright. I have to remind myself that it's not big on romance even though the chemistry between the protagonists are off the charts. >w< Actually, I don't mind at all if there will never be a canon pairing in this series because I'm here for the thrill of chase towards the wicked unknown.

Like the first part, every chapter is packed with mystery after mystery AND I LOVE THAT. The mysteries here are less predictable compared to part 1 (yay!). It's complexity increased but not in an absurd amount, which makes the case solutions sensible and realistic. Readers may very much attempt to solve the codes. I tried but I couldn't. However, I learned new deciphering methods thanks to this. UwU

With that said, I'm excited to read volume 2.

This book was honestly entertaining, especially if you're into mystery or detective stories. It gave me that nostalgic Detective Conan vibe, and as someone who's a huge fan of it, I had fun following the clues, trying to piece things together, and guessing what would happen next.

The writing style is easy to follow and keeps you engaged, and I can see why so many readers enjoyed the mix of mystery, humor, and a bit of drama.

That said, I wouldn't say it's mind-blowing or unpredictable. Some twists were quite easy to catch, and there were moments when I wished the tension was built up a little more. But despite that, it still worked for me, mainly because it didn't try too hard to be overly complex. it's the kind of book you can read for pure enjoyment, where you just sit back and let yourself have fun solving mysteries with the characters.

I initially rated it 3 stars, but the more I thought about it, the more I appreciated the entertainment value and the detective flair that hooked me in. So 3.5 it is! If you're just looking for a good, easy-to-digest mystery that gives you that crime-solving excitement, Project Loki is definitely a solid pick. 🕵🏻‍♀️

PEAK. As someone who really loves Moriarty, this did not disappoint. First book, but it's already a rollercoaster of emotions and twists. I love how the author gave M the "I was always one step ahead" play, just like in the original story of Sherlock Holmes. To be honest, I still don't know who M is; everyone is suspicious.

4.5 stars ✨

Unang-una sa lahat, if mahilig ka sa romance, this book is not for you. Hahaha

If fan ka ng Detective Conan, Detective School Q, or other mystery/detective shows, I'm sure maguhustuhan niyo 'to. Highly recommended! ✨

This was published in 2017. While it is entertaining and somewhat boring on other loose predictable ends, I enjoyed it nonetheless.

What a nice continuation of part 1. The story gets better and better. Characters are well written and how it all connected. Looking forward to the next volume.

Now that Moriarty has revealed himself, I still have my suspicions and doubts—who knows what he's really up to? He even has “minions” around ( •̀ - • ). There are also parts where you really have to think to decipher the messages, which really makes the book interesting. One more thing is medyo naalibadbaran ako sayo Jamie ha.
