So is this a separate series of books or am I still reading 24690? Because this is pretty much all bram and everleigh. That’s not a bad thing, I love those guys. I’m just a little confused, these are more like novellas, ones which could have been compacted into book three. But I enjoyed it immensely. All three books have been amazing.
So this book introduces us to another scouts story, luckily no more new main characters other than him as I was beginning to lose track. I hope when we finally get book three the characters from these books are going to make regular appearances.
I felt weirdly sympathetic for the majority of the characters here, and I’ve no idea why. Brams moping around, everleigh is bedridden from her injuries, aamir is just having a really crap time of it and even the scout had me feeling a bit aww when he talks about his family dynamic.
Lots of twists and turns as I expected. But that cliffhanger has killed me! I can’t get enough of AA darks writing and this one was another solid five stars.

One of the best ones yet! Really toned down the spicey scenes and concentrated on the brutality and honesty of the story.
Never thought I'd be writing these kids of things about this series 🤣

Morality and madness come back to clash with love and mindgames in this novella. This involves the story of Eleven (Aamir) and Scout Nineteen as they try to survive in Whitlock while Bram and Everleigh are locked in by several issues and bound by their love for each other. I think I can read anything relating to Whitlock now, as long as the author keeps writing it.

Also, I need a book for 42!! Alaskaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!

Am I the only one who really liked this one. the cliff hanger at the end is killing me but I was figuratively sitting at the edge of my seat after eleven and nineteen broke out of the white room. I knew something was off with Derek tho. the moment Derek overheard the new laws I instant thought he was sus and got annoyed with bram when he want listening to everleighs warnings. like mate, she was kidnapped, sold into sex slavery, 🍇ed, framed for murder, assaulted, you name it. she still bloody loves you and has been trying to help you even with people coming after her and you wank on about Derek? maybe the white room will do you some good.

The plot line gets sloppy again as we’re pulled back into Whitlock. Now following Aamir within the walls of the fortress, the scheming is as directionless as his wanderings through the castle.

Surface-level, predictable, and somewhat childish plots take place to attempt to drive the story along to a close that I’m beyond ready for.

We get to follow along as slave and guard make their way from one room to another, as lost and confused as I assume the author was while attempting to write.

Here’s to hoping the last book gets better.

This is the 3rd instalment in the 'Welcome to Whitlock' series. While Bram's and Everleigh's story continues, in this book we focus on Scout 19 and Slave 11, previously known as Aamir. Eleven's plight for survival is plagued with so many obstacles that it seems he needs a miracle for that to happen.
Scout 19 plays a pivotal part within the walls of Whitlock and knows just how to play the so called game.

Just when I thought Bram was getting closer to getting his slave, Everleigh back, there is another obstacle in the way.

I'm always rooting for Bram to find his way back to being the same Main Master that I fell in love with in book 1. I know that this is being very vague but I'm not giving any spoilers away. So in saying that the ending had me absolutely gobsmacked. I cannot believe Ms Angelini went there with that. But hell it certainly makes a freaking fantastic storyline for book 4.

This was my least favorite book in the series so far. Not into the whole you know what taboo thing, and I don't like Bram acting like a lovesick fool, no sir, go back to being a menace and cold hearted leader of Whitlock please and thank you.

Book 2.3 in the 24690 series

Here we are finally back in Whitlock (at least everyone but Everleigh). Aamir, 27011, can't believe that he is a slave. He gets to experience to check in process- getting sterilized (via a vasectomy) and getting his slave number tattooed on his chest. Understandably, he is taking everything rather hard. After just a couple of days he gets tossed into the White Room for be@ting a guard to death. Bram, knowing Everleigh will never forgive him if he lets 27011 if he gets seriously injured or dies. So, Bram has an undercover assignment for Scout 19. Pretend to be a fellow slave in the White Room (he even gets his scout number tattooed on his chest) and to keep 27011 alive and safe. Easier said then done, especially since one of the Masters think 19 is working for him to locate the "get rid of 24690.

Everleigh comes to visit Bram and they have an overdue night together. Everything starts going wrong for Bram the next day. But, before Everleigh leaves she instructs Scout 19 to help and protect Bram. The high leader Derek, who Bram trusted implicitly, is hell-bent on arresting Bram and controlling Whitlock by the means of Martial Law. At first Derek doesn't seem to prove successful, but he comes back and orders the guards to take Bram to a brand-new holding room which Derek had especially built (in secret) to house Bram... at least until he awaits trial by the council of Masters and gets sentenced... to what Derek hopes is death.

And that's the cliffhanger! Of course, I immediately started reading Black Out. To say I'm addicted to this series is an understatement. I'm so glad there will be more series that take place in this world. Although it will hurt saying goodbye to Bram and Everleigh.

27011 (Welcome to Whitlock, book 3) by A. A. Dark is an extremely dark erotic horror. I love this genre but it is not for the faint of heart. I always add this warning into my reviews. This isn't for everyone. Fortunately, it exists for crazies like me. :-)

These books must be read in order so if you haven't read the previous books, don't read this review. At the end of the previous story, Everleigh was "saved" from Bram by her guard. He used a blowtorch on her to keep Bram at bay and they escaped from him once again. This begins with Bram using all of his resources to find Everleigh. While he is obsessed and frantic to find her, Whitlock appears to be falling down around him. No one can be trusted and Scout 19 seems to be the only one who's completely loyal to him.
This is also the story of slave 27011 and how his life changes after being separated from his twin. In his desire to escape and return to her, he will trust anyone and do whatever it takes.
As usual, I loved this story. I inhale A. A. Dark's words like air. I try and savor the story by reading as slowly as possible but it doesn't seem to matter. She is by far, my favorite author in this genre. Having said all of that, I have seen her push the envelope far more in previous stories. I am sure she intended to allow Aamir a bit of a mental reprieve after being forced to have sex with his sister. However, I missed the general torture that comes the slaves in Whitlock. I felt like he got off really easy when 19 rescued him from the White Room.
I have literally never loved such a horrible place the way I love Whitlock. As much as I wish I could read new Whitlock stories forever, I know there are so many more amazing evil places in the mind of A. A. Dark that I will love just as much.

Warning: ALL THE TRIGGERS, THEY ARE ALL HERE! Any torture or depravity you can imagine from horror movies, add in noncon/r@pe, and you have the twisted story of the unfortunate souls that reside at Whitlock.

Aamir, now known as 11, is awaiting auction at Whitlock. He is struggling mentally with what he was forced to do to his sister and the fact that she was left behind where he can't protect her. But Everleigh has a plan and people on the inside helping her (including Bram). Aamir puts that plan in jeopardy when he kills a guard in the throes of a breakdown. Scout 19 is introduced and is put in place to protect Aamir.

Meanwhile, Everleigh and Bram are working on parallel plans to deal with Whitlock. Everleigh has so many irons in the fire, I cannot even begin to realize how much she is manipulating the system at Whitlock. Each new revelation is a surprise.

This novella has two new plot developments. One leaves us on a cliffhanger regarding Bram and the other is the introduction of slave 42, a 14 year old girl who has been at Whitlock since she was an infant but has been put in the White Room after killing her master.

~Before it was over with, Everleigh would be back to being my slave.~

Back in the subterranean fortress, the resounding mania of the white room can be heard travelling down the halls of Whitlock. The corruption and immorality still runs rampant and the plotting and scheming can be heard like whispers around every corner.

Bram Whitlock is agitated, an obsessed fool in love. He is so blinded by retrieving Everleigh, that his focus has left his fortress and the goings on behind closed doors at the Whitlock manor. He is no longer the Master he once was. He is losing himself. He must find the balance between the Master he was before and who he should become with his Mistress at his side. But will it be too late?

There is corruption within his loyal subordinates, and manipulation within his closest alliances. Will there be a new number designated to one last slave? I just know the last and final book of the 24690 series, Black Out, is going to detonate our minds and leave us all blowing like ashes in the wind!!

BASURA! TRASH! GARBAUGH!
This book was one long run on sentence. The cat and mouse just constantly switches to whoever decides to betray whoever is the Main Master at the time. The book has a lot of segways in the plot that lead to absolutely nothing. Ex. Kidnapping the families of the board members, but then the board members get murdered. Which makes the kidnapping a dead end and completely pointless to the plot.
The book finally lost me when the author decided to create another Stockholm syndrome situation with Layla. Her relationship with Gavin, who claims to be in love with her, is absolutely disgusting. I hate that the author tries to create romantic situations within human trafficking. Why not just continue the more realistic theme and plainly say that Gavin is a rapist pedo.
I have been able to stomach this series because I didn’t feel like the author tried to make rape pretty until now. 🖕🏽 DNF at like 67%

4.5 stars. Sweet baby Jesus that was intense! This was just bam, bam, bam the whole time. I bloody loved how the story evolved even more in this book. The first novella really didn’t seem to add much to the story (as of yet anyway) but the last novella & this one kept things really god damn interesting. I’m so glad we finally got rewarded with some sweet moments between Bram & Everleigh again too. I honestly didn’t know how things would play out between them after everything that’s happened, but glad we’re starting to see the revival of their relationship. Of course, that seemed to be the only thing starting to go to plan, as everything else is going to complete & utter shit for them. The story ended on another cliffhanger & man am I intrigued to see how this will all end in the next book. Loved it! I’m itching to start the next book already.

A.A. Dark is trying to kill us, that's the only thing that I can think about this book. I always look forward with baited breath for the next Whitlock book, I devour them, and then I have to wait for the next one because A.A. Dark leaves us hanging for the next book.

This one was no different. OMG, I can't even believe what's going on with this book. I am totally sucked in to all the different plots and plans, and I'm trying to figure out what everyone is doing. As to what's going on now, all I can say is that Everleigh is going to blow her top and things are going to be explosive.

I can't wait for the next one. I kind of wish I had a time machine so that I could wake up tomorrow with the next one written and published so that I can read it immediately.

Once again, I just wasn’t as invested in one of our main characters. The story overall was interesting, I’m just not a huge fan of the twins.
This one we are focusing on the male, Aamir, slave 27011. The plot was good but parts of it felt drug out, and I really do think it’s just because Aamir doesn’t interest me.
This book honestly seemed like the least dark of them all. Maybe I’m growing immune to the crazy? 🤷🏻‍♀️ but it seemed like there was less talk of the violence and SA in this one. It’s still there but didn’t seem as heavy.
There was a lot of what’s really going on, who do we trust…which I thoroughly enjoyed and the ending!? Omg. I need to dive into the next and last book of 24690 now!

This series keeps getting better and better! My heart was pounding as I was reading and I had to finish this book in one sitting. In the pitch black world of Whitlock no one can be trusted. It is filled with betrayal and depravity. When you think that you have imagined the very worst things that people can do to one another this series makes you realize that things can be so much worse. I loved these characters. I hated these characters. I felt like I needed to shower away their perversions with a steel brush. At the same time, I couldn't get enough. That ending though! I can't wait to read Blackout!

FML, really?
The biggest bitch of cliffhangers, EVER! I need closure for this series. I’m so mentally exhausted after every book, I can’t even right a decent review. My reviews for Whitlock’s fuckedupness are none (because I can’t even put into words what I felt at the time) or filled with words that Amazon won’t approve of. This series is like a train wreck. You know you shouldn’t be looking but fuck, you can’t look away even if you wanted to.
Everleigh better get her shit together (ASAP) and ride her ass into Whitlock in all her shiny armor on a big white horse. I’m tired of Bram getting shafted.

well, fuck. this whole plot of undercover was very complicated, almost too complicated. i can’t say i understood 100% of it unfortunately… like, i still don’t get the main interest of scout nineteen and where his loyalty lies. but it was indeed a brain workout to keep track of who was doing what, who knew which secrets, whose intentions were aligned with whom and all that. and that final move? gosh. i’ll just say this white room hosts too many of the main characters at this point.

huge respect for mistress everleigh harper, by the way. she became the woman none of the masters was the man, not even bram whitlock. such power move from this femme fatale queen.

OMFG WHAT A BOOK!!!

If you have been following along with the adventures of Whitlock, then you will absolutely love this next installment. These books keep getting better as we delve further into Whitlock, and of course more dark and twisted. A. A. can bring the dark, and it makes me so happy. Then maim premise of this book is Bram and Scout 19 keeping Aamie safe for Everleigh. Without giving anything away, lets just say its not an easy task.

Arg this book, that ending!! I need Black Out like yesterday!!!

Bram is working as hard as he can to convince his slave his love Everleigh to come back to Whitlock, back to him. While she does make a very brief return, she's only there to get her slave Aamir and to keep Bram on the hook. Trying to get him to see that there's chaos amongst the ranks, Everleigh finally gets Bram to listen to her and open his eyes to what's going on at Whitlock.

I might be a bit strange, but I think I'd rather see what Scout 19's story could be at this point. Might be another wait, but I'll continue on with this series at some point.

This series has me feeling so many things!....on one hand, I'm thinking this is just twisted! Everything is just so wrong and it's not normal in any way - yet I'm addicted!
On the other hand I'm thinking that this is quite romantic! Granted we're talking about sex slaves and murder and deceit but all in all...this is all because Bram loves Everleigh!! He adores her and this is him trying to do right by her, but in doing so, he doesn't know who to trust!! And the longer this goes on, the more that Whitlock is going to crash and burn!!!!

Aamir is stuck in Whitlock, separated from his twin sister and desperate to escape. Nineteen is a scout who has been entrusted with keeping Aamir safe in the White Room. But this is Whitlock, where you don’t know who you can trust and where no one will ever be safe. The only question is- can they survive?

Ok this was my favourite novella! The whole book had me desperate for more, to find out what was coming next and that ending 🤯🤯 I can’t wait to start the next book because I need to see how this is gunna play out!

The final novella gave me White Out vibes again, where the plot moved swiftly and events unfolded. The different scouts and their numbers were a bit confusing but once 65% of the way through I kind of knew who was who. Everleigh and Bram’s relationship twisted and turned just as much as the storyline did, so you are thrown from one tense moment to another. A.A Dark also knows how to write a cliffhanger! Every time I have decided to take a break from the series, a book ends in a way that has me changing my mind instantaneously!

Hanging from A CLIFF

Everyone is scheming...Trust no one. Bram needs to start focusing on running Whitlock instead of chasing Everleigh 's move... She never stopped loving him but because he's dead to the world. He's blind from the outer workings of everyone who's able to come and go from Whitlock, which is inside a mountain. Bram begs her to come back to him. Everleigh tells him," not until you start acting like the Master of Whitlock."

I read 27011 solely to complete the series, but unfortunately, it didn’t add much to the overall story. The novella feels like a patchwork of elements from previous books, lacking a cohesive plot or meaningful character development.

While the darker themes and psychological aspects are present, they don’t feel as impactful here. The characters, especially the FMC and MMC, started to feel repetitive and less engaging, which made the reading experience less enjoyable.
