An exciting thriller of the days just prior to the removal of the oppressive system of Apartheid from The Republic of South Africa, and the beginning of black African majority rule. A battle of violence and intrigue spreads across southern Africa as Russian Colonel Shukov and his SIRUS espionage group tries to derail the transition process. The extremism of the black revolutionaries, coupled with the white communist philosophy vies for power with the democratic hopes of the countries leaders. Two extraordinary men, the CIA agent code named 'Zulu' and ex-mercenary, Jules Noir, arise from the deserts of Namibia and Botswana to combat this threat to the peaceloving peoples of South Africa. In a blazing race for control, the two forces meet in final confrontation at the center of the battle for control, Pretoria, South Africa.
This is my retro James Bond style book written in 1995. I think it was a good book for me as a starter, but due to publisher bankruptcy and my heavy level of work in Latin America during the 90's, I really never got it republished and back out on the market. You'll enjoy the fast movement and insights into Africa at a time when revolution was the name of the game on that continent!
