Here is one of many books about cancer and the family. This one is quite readable and has lots of practical ideas. There is even a tear out section at the end for both younger and older kids to use to allow them various ways to deal with how the cancer is affecting them. I especially liked the chapter on post treatment issues to address, that just because treatment is over doesn't mean that adjusting is over.

If I were to buy one of the big cancer books for parents with cancer, this would be the one. It has activities to do with kids to help them through struggles they may have. This book was available at my library. Highly recommend.
