First story batman has to gamble with the joker with human lives, joker gets scared for his life in the end and escapes into the sea as usual.
Second story an adventurer wrongly diagnosed with heart disease helps batman catch a museum thieves, in the end they discover that he is healthy and can pursue a life of adventure.
Third story batman goes back to the past to know the truth of his predecessor silas wayne who he thought was a theif, and they find out that he isn't in the end.
