An okay issue. The (One Shot) story for this is Cassie and Vlad come to a town to help Cat and Pooch, film a documentary for a couple who are paranormal hunters and of course things are not what they seem.

The dialogue and story was a bit jumbled with this issue, it jumped between mildly interesting to bland at times. Still not sure how I felt about this issue as a whole...

On the plus side the artwork was very good! I seem to have a love hate relationship with the artist, as its the same as before (which I previously criticized when I reviewed the first volume). But I don't know here the artwork suited the story, and the coloring work on this particular issue was spot on!

With all the other things to read out there, this series has not offered up enough to be worth the time. Some good things or moments here and there, but mostly not very good. The additional supernatural elements aren’t helping. Maybe a crossover appearance from another half-naked female character who battles demons and the undead will help…
