The Kennedy Assassination: what really happened: The Oswald letter, JFK archive releases, and a deathbed confession implicating President Johnson in the murder
Professor Kroth decodes a mysterious letter written to a "Mr. Hunt" by Lee Harvey Oswald sixteen days before Oswald was murdered. Oswald's dyslexia provides a final clue to the actual events surrounding the assassination.. This leads us to Howard Hunt and his dramatic deathbed confession implicating LBJ in the murder. In addition Trump's dramatic disclosure of over 50,000 secret JFK files in 2017-18, plus more documents disclosed in 2021, changes our understanding of virtually everything. In late 2022, 13,000 more documents were let go, and these too have been sifted and sorted here. All of the releases together are absolutely revelatory. Publisher reviews "These documents, as he says, over 80 of them, blew me away. I'll never believe the Warren Commission was anything but a whitewash. Johnson did it through the CIA and the Mafia. No doubt in my mind it was a coup d'etat." —M.S. Forrest, Ph.D
5.0 stars —- I have read numerous books on the assassination of John F. Kennedy over the years and am firmly convinced of evidence of a conspiracy to kill the President. Over the years, many authors have attempted to support the Warren Commission’s findings that there was a lone gunman, Lee Harvey Oswald, who murdered Kennedy by himself. “The Kennedy Assassination:what really happened” by Jerry Kroth seems to set the record straight once and for all. It is obvious that Kroth is an expert in the subject about which he is writing. He cites books by different authors, You Tube videos and the thousands of pages of government documents (including the most recently released documents in 2018) to reveal the truth about the plot to kill the President. The book is laid out in an easy to read format in which the author does an excellent job at using the official sources to prove a convincing case of CIA/mob involvement in the assassination. He also does a good job of linking the ruthless, LBJ to these figures. Despite reading so many books on this topic, I believe Kroth’s research might be the best I ever read in naming the names that were involved and revealing the motives and connections that were used to accomplish this violent act. The only suggestion I might make is that you may want to read a book or a detailed account of the facts of the assassination itself before reading this book because the author spends most of his time connecting the principles and their relationship with Oswald instead of disproving the lone gunman theory ( which so many capable authors have done excellent work doing over the past 50 years).
Well, here's the answer in this, book, that, has, commas, at, odd, and, often, grammatically, inappropriate, places. Why did it take so long for all this information to come out? It all fits together and makes perfect sense.
Ok, I have never believed in the Warren Report conclusion. I have also felt that LBJ had to have something to do with it. Who had the most to gain? The author made a comment at the beginning that the audience he was speaking to didn’t know who Jack Ruby was. It isn’t just this current generation, my sons teacher in 2nd grade ( he is now 33) didn’t know who he was either. I was three when this happened and was born in Dallas. This is the closest I have read to what actually makes since. Good read.
Jesus Christ. Read this in under 24 hours. Tons of direct evidence that Oswald: - Was not a mentally unstable communist (and actually that the FBI directly aimed to portray him that way, by any means necessary) - Did not act alone - Spoke with CIA and FBI Personnel on multiple occasions “concerding” his position in the months leading up to Kennedy’s death. (In one case receiving a clandestine envelope from an FBI Agent - De Brueys- Soprano style) - Had mafia connections - Was likely the fall guy in a larger conspiracy
There’s so many gems in this book that just make it impossible to believe the official narrative. Cartoonish mafia-style “suicides” of NUMEROUS important POI right before they were supposed to testify that feel surreal to read about, as well as multiple military personnel in Europe hearing whispers through the grapevine of an upcoming assassination attempt on the President in Dallas, only to be deemed insane and institutionalized upon reporting the news to their superiors. Not to mention J. Edgar Hoover’s candid remarks and the laughable constitution of the Warren Commission itself featuring Dulles and the strong-armed Earl Warren. And that’s barely scratching the surface. So much of it just falls into place naturally. Many of the internal documents/memos imply things circumstantially, but they’re SO nudge-nudge wink-wink that its easy to read between the lines. Besides, its not like the CIA has a memo lying around that straight up reads “We killed Kennedy 😁😁😁”.
Even if the author goes in the wrong direction somewhere or another, the skeleton of the book is so strong and the evidence so iron-clad that the fact of a larger conspiracy involving both government and organized crime elements remains self-evident. I’m still not 100% on the James Files or LBJ stuff, though.
Is kind of a shame that the cover looks a little cheap and it isn’t amazingly formatted, because that will certainly get people to dismiss it outright. Don’t judge a book by its cover in strides.
There’s truth in here, if you really wish to read it. Or maybe not, but it does feel like it. My head is ready to explode.
The book is meticulously researched, drawing from numerous documents about the Kennedy assassination that were released during the Trump administration. This is the second book I’ve read recently that names Lyndon B. Johnson as complicit in Kennedy’s murder — not just complicit, but the prime mover. I’m still formulating my own opinion about this, but I am absolutely convinced that the Warren Commission was complete bullshit and that there were at least two shooters in Dallas (perhaps more). Also, I’m beginning to have serious doubts about whether Lee Harvey Oswald even fired a shot. It really looks like he was, in his own words, “a patsy.”
A good summary of the alternative explanation about who was truly behind the Kennedy assassination and why. What really makes this book worth reading is the additional documents released in 2017 & 18 that are summarized and put into context about how they fit into the conspiracy..
I have read numerous books on the assassination. Much of the story in this book have been rehashed in other books. Most of the people are dead that had anything to do with the assassination. It has always been my belief that Lyndon Johnson was behind the murder. He had the connections and the money. The old saying "three people can keep a secret if two of them are dead" rings true. It is obvious Cknowledge was a death sentence.
The book is well written and worth the time to read it. The entire truth might be known a hundred years from now but it will be another time in history that our great Igrandkids will read about.
I was a High School Senior when he was killed and after seeing the Zapruder film I have questioned the WarrenCommission. This book posits a viable theory in my mind. LBJ could easily have managed the hit and he was capable of anything for power. I recommend this short work highly
I studied a few books on the JFK assassination over the years, as well as reading a few biographies on the man himself.
The account given in this book, together with the evidence presented make the most compelling narrative that I have read so far. Everything fits together, and everything makes sense. Well worth you time.
Very good compilation of the facts we have heard about for half a century!! When will our government step up and admit the truth? Great read for all those who have followed the stories for years.
Very detailed book that goes in depth into the evidence against a lone shooter narrative and why the government covered it up. Very informative and leads you to wonder.
Some interesting theories are presented here. Are they true? Who knows, but they sure provide food for thought. As I would agree, the likelihood of a single assassin, especially Lee Harvey Oswald, gets more remote all of the time. Some very scary scenarios are put forth.
