Sometimes running away takes you straight to the thing you're running from.

New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors, Victoria Danann and Teresa Gabelman, team up to create a sigh-worthy wolf shifter romance that will leave you satisfied in the dreamiest way.

The Three Rivers Pack has been deeply embedded in Kerrville commerce and society for generations. They own businesses and hold government offices, including that of sheriff. But the influx of retirees and well-to-do building second homes in the Hill Country has squeezed the shifters for room to run.

The only answer is relocation to a less populated locale and that will require making a deal with the pack that holds that territory. The alliance struck by the two alphas is blood seal, a political mating between the Lobos alpha's daughter and the Three Rivers alpha's son. It's the perfect solution that benefits both tribes.

Except nobody asked Fleet Ryder and Dani Alvarez if they were willing. And they aren't.

Set against the stark, but breathtakingly remote and beautiful Big Bend region of Texas.

What to do when humans move into your neighbourhood and your wolve's now have no space to run... You make a deal with another pack and move.
But to seal the deal you have your kid marry/mate their kid.
Of course modern wolves are not keen on the idea of an arranged mating and take steps to fix things.

Fleet and Dani were great characters and I loved the world building. I didn't give it more stars because everything was just a little too hunky dory and convenient in wolf town. But i did like how Dani and Fleet first meet and their cautious dance into each others' arms.

Not everyone is happy about the alliance, just to give the story a little shake and not let everything be too easy.

Safety is good

Most romantic book this year!

This book is written by two of my favorite authors. Best collaboration. Both of these ladies make me feel so many emotions when I read their books. This book was no exception, it made me feel so many emotions. I laughed out loud. I sighed because Fleet just stood my heart. There is action and adventure. Some sexy scenes. Such a romantic book. If you are looking for a wonderful story with great romance and lots of adventure. This is what you are looking for. Grab your copy today. From a Forever Fan... Pam James.

This exciting new series is off to a great start, Lobos, the first book has all the right elements and wonderfully strong, captivating characters that easily pull readers into their story. Fleet and Dani has sizzling chemistry and feisty attitudes that has sparks flying from the pages and their romance is sweet although it has a very rocky start as they try to defy their alphas orders and resist their arranged mating. The characters obviously have to overcome their doubts, their anger and their fear of the future which adds lots of emotional turmoil and depth to the story while the snark and witty repertoire between them and their friends adds a bit of fun and causes a few chuckles.

The fast paced plot flows smoothly with excitement, adventure, romance and some thrilling suspense and danger when one of Dani’s pack mates decides that Dani is his and no one else can have her. If the story was a little longer and had a bit more detail, I think it would have be even better but other than that I was engrossed in the story from the beginning and I am looking forward to reading more in this series.

Interesting twist on the werewolf/shifter trope. Great introduction to these two packs. Love when parents seem to know best and it isn't until the kiddos are forced together that they realize the parents may have been right. Of course, being fated mates helped.

I'm not sure if the suthors plan to go beyond this story, but I would read more of what happens when these two packs become blended.

Good story.

I love both of these authors. The collaboration results in a romantic, fun and sometimes terrifying story. Dani and Fleet are the offspring of two Alphas who use them to join forces politically. It sounds like a horrible idea and both are aghast initially. That feeling of doom does not stay for very long. Their fathers redeem themselves by the resulting love match but, there is someone against the match, who proves to be unbalanced. The friendships and humor throughout the book are a joy to read. The growing affection and romance is quick but builds to a more substantial bond. Overall, this book joined two gifted authors in a fun filled adventure of romance and the joining of communities.

Lobos, by Victoria Danann and Theresa Gabelman was great. The story is full of attitude by the 2 shifters chosen to be mated…against their will. As they discover from their fathers, Fleet and Dani don’t seem to have a say in this, so they are going to do this their way or no way! There’s suspense up to the very end of the book. I enjoyed the action, intrigue, sexy romance and lots of fun scenes that face the couple. It was a page turner and I just loved it. I look forward to more books in this series.

This is the first time Victoria Danann and Theresa Gabelman have co-authored a book together. I applaud how they worked together to bring an interesting twist to the paranormal world of wold shifters.

Sometimes parents do know what is best for their children. Even if the children of two different alphas are brought together, fighting against their parents’ bargain all the way to the alter, or in this case the mating.

This is a fun and sexy book. The characters are realistic in their response to an unwanted situation. Well as realistic as a paranormal book can be.

I highly recommend this book. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader’s Copy of this book.

Teresa Gabelman comes together with Victoria Danann to bring us a new shifter story.
The Alpha of the Three Rivers pack realizes that it is time for his pack to move on, humans have moved in droves to their once little town and it’s just not safe anymore.
The Lobos pack has plenty of room, more than enough room for two packs, what they lack however is the funds to keep their pack going. The two Alphas come to an agreement, Three Rivers will move and pay into the Lobos pack and both Alphas pledge that their children will marry the other.
Arranged marriages in this day and age is outrageous and Fleet, son of the Alpha from Three Rivers and Danita, the daughter of the Alpha from Lobos, are not happy that they have been thrown at the other for the sake of their packs.
Ok, this story maybe on the shorter side but Fleet and Danika’s story is awesome long or short.
The way these two know that no matter what they have to do what’s right for the packs and decide to see if they will make a good mated pair is really sweet and their friends!! Their besties all help them spend some time away from the packs and together before the mating.
So, not only do we get one of the sweetest love stories, but let’s face it it’s shifters so it’s also HOT, we also get a little danger in the story too!! Not everyone is so happy about this mating, even if the pair themselves were against it in the beginning.
I certainly hope we get to see more from these two lovely authors, they go together so well.

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!
***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I got a review copy of this book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book!

The cover is my favorite kind with both beasts on the cover. Very nice!!!

This is the first time I’m reading both authors which is silly because I own almost 20 books between the two of them. This is the first book in what I hope will be a series. It is for adults only due to the violence and steamy content.

This was a great read from the start. Through the arranged mating, there is all sorts of new things learned, drama, excitement, romance, and some craziness. I really liked how Dani and Fleet handled things. It also didn’t hurt that it ended with them being happy. I’m hoping maybe we will get stories about their friends and the pack joining together.

I really liked the writing because it pulled you into the story. It is writing from both Dani and Fleet’s perspective switching back and forth, and I only mention it because some people don’t like that. I can’t wait to read more from both authors.

I highly recommend to any wolf shifter fan who loves mates and the story of how they came to be!

I’ve read many if Victoria Danann’s books before, but haven’t read any of Teresa Gabelman’s, but the two together have written a great story with plenty of suspense and romance to keep you flicking through the pages. Fleet and Dani are from two different packs forced into a situation that neither of them wants and it really makes for a good story. I liked Dani and Fleet’s characters and thought they really gelled. Their romance was quick, but believable. I liked the camaraderie between them and their friends and would definitely like to see them again. I won’t spoil anything, but their ‘complication’ made this book so much more than two people exploring new found love. Very good read.

Wow oh wow. This book was fantastic. I love books about Wolf shifters and this book definitely did not disappoint. I was really amazed how well the two authors had written this together. I have read many books by both authors and have to say that they are two of my favourite authors. The story flowed smoothly and kept my interest from the start. If you have read books by either author I do recommend you give this book a try.

I thoroughly enjoyed this shifter romance. Fleet and Dani are each the child of the alpha of their pack when they learn that their packs are aligning and that their arranged mating is part of the deal. They have not met each other and have no interest in being mated to each other. When they attempt to circumvent their parents and meet in advance in order to find a way out of the mating, they realize that they like each other and then fate takes hold of them.

This is a delightful romance that I read in one sitting (because I couldn't put it down). It was entertaining and an interesting twist on the typical shifter tales. If you are a fan of the genre, you will love this book. Put this one at the top of your tbr list.

Fleet and Dani were to mate to help their packs but neither one were happy about it.
They met and there was something there so they decided to run away to see if they were suited to each other.
A lot of romance,a little drama and danger in all a good shifter romance.
Looking forward to the next.

Victoria Danann and Teresa Gabelman are two great authors especially when they combine their talents. Lobos was a fast read because I couldn't put the book down! Fleet and Danis romance was something neither wanted. There was fear, intrigue, laughter, friendship, but most of all knowing that you can't fight what's meant to be....or not be.

Cute easy read.
PS Don't know if it was poor download, but formatting of my Kindle copy was abysmal - paragraphs breaking in odd places, fonts all over the place , made it less present read.

Uugghhh...Not worth it

Got this book from KU because I’ve read books from TG and really liked them and a lot of the reviews were good. I’ve never read anything from the other writer before.
Well, I honestly do not agree with the good reviews (in case the one stars wasn’t a clue). Why???
First, the editing needs work. There were many misspellings and mis-use of words.
There were also many places where it wasn’t clear who was speaking or having inner dialogue.
Second, the main characters were just didn’t work. Dani is supposed to be this independent, strong and sassy woman who has her own passion and path (per the story summary and reviews). Well, she ended up being bi-polar. One minute she is doing and saying one thing that seems to be totally in character and the next not so much. Also, what passion or life plan??? There was none that was written about. Also please, please stop with the wholesome virgin falling for the manwhore player. The whole independent, strong female werewolf who is well past college age as a virgin just doesn’t make sense with the vacant alpha manwhore.
They are werewolves and by nature sexual but only the men? What?? Doesn’t work.
Sorry but as for Fleet, there was just nothing. He apparently didn’t work and was just the heir apparent who was a player manwhore. There was just nothing there.
So happy I didn’t pay to read this, but even free it wasn’t worth it.

With the Three Rivers Pack facing a loss of space and room to run, they have no choice but to relocate. Making a deal with a pack with lots of territory seems to be in everyone’s best interest. The Three Rivers Pack will gain the territory they need and the Lobos Pack will get financial benefits. When the alphas agree to seal the deal with a blood oath and political mating between their children, everyone agrees it’s in both packs best interests . . .everyone, that is except Fleet Ryder and Dani Alvarez.

What happens when Fleet and Dani decide not to go along with their Alphas . . . but to run away instead . . .even just to get to know one another on their own terms. Will they decide to go against their packs or will they discover that sometimes the thing you didn’t think you wanted was fate all along?

I was thrilled when I found out that two of my favorite authors were collaborating on Lobos! Honestly, the collaboration was flawless in that I could not tell which author wrote which parts, and I have read both Victoria and Teresa’s extensive bodies of work.

I found the beginning of this book a bit slow to start, but once things got going, I was enthralled! I adored the characters of Fleet and Dani. Both were independent and balked at the idea of an arranged marriage and I love that while they respected their packs and parents, that they needed to find a way to decide if they would go against their Alphas’ decree. Watching them get to know one another and realizing that maybe everything they wanted was right in front of them was truly enjoyable.

I really liked how the the younger generation of both packs immediately fit together as well. Dani and Fleet’s friends may be from opposite packs, but both groups were super open and friendly with other as well as supportive of whatever decision Fleet and Dani made.

The end of this book is simply spectacular and and completely unexpected. It left me speechless. The epilogue was also glorious and wrapped up this tale beautifully! I’d love to see more from these characters in future collaborations. 4.5 stars.

This book is like déjà vu all over again! Okay, I should probably explain that, huh.

A while back, possibly in response to one of my reviews, the author (Victoria) said she writes paranormal romance books. I disagreed because a) I don’t read romance stories; and b) her books were so much more than a romance: Great stories, check; adventure, check; surprises, check; a little romance story mixed in, check. So what does she do? Collaborates with Teresa Gabelman and writes a romance novel. I stand corrected. For now.

Another déjà vu point: When I started reading Stalk I said to myself – self, I could write a review for this one right now because I know how it ends. I was wrong: That ending was a surprise. I had that same feeling again with Lobos except this time I was correct.

Now the review: For a romance, this is a 5-star effort. The plot is somewhat unique if you read about wolves and think you know their pattern. It is a page turner – I read it straight through in one night. But if you’re a confirmed Victoria Danann addict as I am, you might think it comes up a little short – maybe because it’s a romance? Or maybe because it is a collaboration and I’m spoiled. Or then maybe it’s a little predictable for one of her books but since Victoria Danann is one of the authors, the writing and story is top notch… for a romance story. If there’s a book 2, I’ll probably buy it too because it is a good story with a little different twist. And if a book two happens, maybe they’ll follow up on the “unique” Alpha/Non-Alpha thread they teased us with then dropped.

All in all, it’s still 5 stars because… yep, my favorite author is involved! If you’re a paranormal romance fan, you will be glad you did.

Lobos by Teresa Gableman
I received this book from the author for an honest review.
When one of your auto buy authors says they are writing new series..uhm hell yes I want in on that action!!! I mean what kind of true stalker…errr….fan am I to say no to that?
The story we are introduced to is a bit slow because we are setting up the new world. We are learning about 2 different packs and the all the important packmates.
Fleet is the son of on alpha while Dani is the daughter of the other alpha. Both packs have come to an agreement, but they also need a formal mating between both packs to seal the deal. To say the unsuspecting children are happy about this is an understatement.
Fleet and his crazy crew decide to sneak to Dani’s pack lands in order for them to meet and SEE what they look like, act ike, etc get to know each other. When the flames of fate step in they both get “that feeling” about the other they begin to wonder if maybe this marriage isn’t such a bad idea!!!
The couple take a trip away since they got busted trying to run away and see if they are compatible. While they are away we see that Dani is being threatened and Fleet, the soon to be alpha of his pack, is not to happy with his woman being targeted.
I enjoyed the story and getting to know the new characters. It was a bit wordy in places and overly descriptive at times but all in all I did enjoy the story and look forward to the next books.

Victoria Danann and Teresa Gabelman have created a romantic, exciting story that is an enjoyable read.

The Alpha of the Three River Pack decides they need to more for the health of the pack. The expanding urbanization is making it hard for the them to find the space to run free and to hide their true nature from humans. The Lobos pack has lots of land. A deal is made involving money and services, but to cement the agreement, the son of the Alpha of The Three River Pack is promised in marriage to the daughter of the Alpha of the Lobos. So, simple, right? However, Fleet and Dani have ideas and plans of their own. Neither wants to get married in the first place. Even if they did want to eventually marry, they had no intention of having their fathers pick their mates. They hate each other even before they meet. Then they do meet. Sometimes life is filled with surprises and sometimes those surprises are actually wonderful. The road of love and romance isn't easy and there is a someone else who thinks Dani belongs to him. I couldn't put down the book. There was such pleasure in getting to know these characters and watch their relationship develop and change.

I look forward to more books with these two authors.

I’m a HUGE fan of Teresa Gabelman’s books and have read every single one, she does write Exceptional Paranormal ( and anything thing else she’s writes is a Bonus and just as Amazing)!

I’ve NOT read any of Victoria Danann’s so this collaboration was going to be interesting for me.

I did enjoy the story, it was really good, loved Fleet and Danita, and the way they eventually ended up together, their friends on both sides were Da Best, also the parents on both sides are Kick Ass Scary,( but with a little sweetness added too) Lol
Awwww and Dani’s Friend Liam I Loved him, I’m so glad he turned up when he did to help out Dani, or things could have been tragic! my god my heart was in my mouth that Bat shit Crazy Carter, OMG he is Nutso!! Jesus, he needs taking down!

They only thing on the downside for me was that I was a little disappointed that we didn’t get to hear what happened with Fleet and his parents when he & Dani returned from their time away, we got Dani’s side of the story but NOT what happened with Fleets Parents and the Pack and I suspect it didn’t go down that well with Fleets parents but we didn’t get to read about it so I was disappointed about that!

All in all it was a great read.

Boring. I got to the 80% mark before it got vaguely interesting. There's no real character development, minimal plot and insta love (Ugh). The chapter where Danita and Fleet have sex for the first time is in Danita's viewpoint. It is followed, almost word for word, the same scene from Fleet's viewpoint in the next chapter. That right there almost made me throw my Kindle at the wall. It made me think that one author was writing Danita's chapters and the other was writing Fleet's.
Also, the book is weirdly formatted. Out of the blue font size changes that break words between lines, Lines with varying line spacing. Fleet's and Danita's names at the beginning of each chapter never ended up on just one line. It was almost as those this was rushed out to publication without a solid review first. Disappointing as I usually enjoy both authors, but this book certainly didn't entice me to read this new series.

I received this book for an honest review.
Say what! Who does arranged marriages anymore well it looks like Fleet and Dani's fathers do. Fleets pack needs more room to roam and Dani's pack needed financial help. So the fathers declared their children would be mated to tie the packs together.
As you can imagine Dani and Fleet did not take kindly to this arrangement. Fleet and his boys go on a road trip to find out more about Dani and her pack. After Dani and Fleet meet they come up with a plan to run away to get to know one another.
This is where things pick up Dani and Fleet try to fight their arranged mating. They learn more about each other. While on their road trip they found another pack member believes Dani was his and doesn't want to let her go. Needless to say Fleet was not happy someone was after his mate.
I liked getting to know Dani and Fleet plus all their friends. I have to say I am intrigued to find out more about this group of friends.

I love this book. I didn't know how I could feel about reading a book by two authors but these two women are AMAZING together. I didn't even notice when they changed from one author to the next. This story flowed so well together that it just sucks you right in. These wolves have to not only change where they live but how they live. This is a new experience for everyone involved. The two main characters are stuck in an impossible situation that shouldn't happen to young adults in the 21st century but they handle it with not only determination but find love all along. I love how these two take their lives back even when they have to packs to help. Each with their own purpose but together they make an amazing team. I cannot wait to see what happens next. It can only get better from here.

Lobos is the start of a new series co-written by Teresa and Victoria. I’ve only ever read Teresa’s books and was keen to find out more about this Pack. Really enjoyed the story of shifters needing to move because of the modernisation of the area and rather than risking discovery, they form an alliance with the Lobos Pack. But unbeknownst to these two Alphas, their respective children don’t want to be forced into an arranged mating! But when they meet sparks fly and an alliance and mating doesn’t appear as bad as either one thought initially.

Really enjoyed the story and both Fleet and Dani were wonderful characters, even had a few laugh out loud moments, just found the beginning quarter of the book needed a bit more editing as this was a little distracting from the story but Fleet and Dani managed to persuade me enough to finish the book, but still needed mentioning😀
