Caution: these stories are not meant to stand alone. The Beyond Happily Ever After stories are vignettes and outtakes showing the O’Kanes in their daily lives, in between the adventures and often after their happy endings. These stories were written exclusively for readers and fans of the series, and will probably not make very much sense to anyone not familiar with the characters.

Bought it because I'm an idiot and couldn't find these freebie stories on the authors's website (and then I found them after this had shipped... I know! For someone who prides herself on being interwebs-savvy, I can be so dumb sometimes), but I have zero regrets - it was money well spent and it's nice to have something from Kit Rocha in physical form, not only in e-format.

And this is such a fabulous collections of short stories glimpsing into the future of all of our favourite characters after their happy ending and the war with Eden - I love, love, love Kit Rocha for giving us that, first in the consecutive series instalments, then in these shorts, and also in Gideon's Riders series; it's what I always want with my favourite books/series, more of the HEA, and Kit Rocha are one of the very few authors that not only deliver but spoil us with it and I am ever so grateful for it.
