The plot is too basic, it's a cliché omegaverse, but I'm glad that it does not involve a traumatized and clueless Omega because that hurts the plot and I don't like it. And, I'm so pleased that the Alpha is trying his best to control his instincts. But, still, I guess stories like this one is not new to me now. Okay, so we established that.
But, an additional point because the beastly humans gave justice to Omegaverse's animal-like features, especially in sensual scenes. I'm just really not that fond of too sexy plots in boys' love. I kinda laughed though because the first thing that I thought about when I first read an Omegaverse series was, "So, are they like, animals or something?"
Also, that baby is so cute!! I won't mind reading the sequels!
It's the first beast yaoi manga that I am reading, so I was very skeptical. I can't say it was some very thrilling plot, but it was interesting to read, they didn't make it senseless falling in love based on destiny, they had their logical reasons. And the art was absolutelly beautiful, I can describe it as more sensual than hot, but that was just fine for the story.
This was the first, and for a long time, the only omegaverse manga I had read. It will always have a special place in my memories. Re-reading this again, I can say that it deserves its place there. It's extremely short but something about just leaves you happy after reading. I'd definitely recommed it as an entry into this genre.
La trama fue tan simple y no sentí nada con el romance que se da. Fue como que un poco de sexo y se amaban. Incluso se hablaba de tener bebés. Pasa muy rápido todo.
4/5. Highlights may contain spoilers. Read at your own risk.

Miyaji and Kijima are both beastmen in a world where beastmen were created and have settled in amongst humans in the last 100 years. They are able to get pregnant regardless of anatomy. They’re noted by the animal characteristics they have, such as cat ears. They also experience ruts and heats.
Miyaji works as a doctor, and Kijima is a director at the hospital and his coworker. Kijima often teases Miyaji and has an interest in him, while Miyaji dislikes him. It’s interesting because Miyaji’s doing research to help beastmen “not give into their instincts”, but it seems moreso he dislikes that he is a beastman especially because he was raised by two human parents and was a result of a genetic mutation. Meanwhile, Kijima embraces his identity and yes, is hedonistic.
Everything starts with an inconvenient heat, doesn’t it?
The romance between Kijima and Miyaji was very sweet. I liked the opposites attract and how their different views on being beastmen interacted, because they both got character growth through that. There is little angst and this volume was mostly focusing on the development of their relationship to eventual babies.
The art is very pretty!
I look forward to reading the rest of the books in this series as their relationship grows!
I decided to revisit this series after reading it during the great gay manga obsession of 2020, brought on by the pandemic. It was a fascinating time to be alive, and I read SO MANY weird, adorable little mangas. This was one of them.
I liked this story well enough. It's cute, fairly light-hearted, and I find the concept pretty interesting. It's not too complicated, even if slightly problematic, and it was enough to make me read the rest of the series.
¿Ubican el don't like don't read? Acaba resultando bastante tierno.
It’s really basic but adorable, I wish there was more build up before they gave into each other because that was the whole point, especially considering there are multiple volumes and they would have had the chance to go at a slower pace. The baby is absolutely adorable and I like that this didn’t have any super dark themes that are fairly common in BL.
Es un manga muy cute y rapido de leer, es cortito, me demore como 1o min en leerlo. El spicy esta bien bueno, una historia basica de m-preg que te llena el corazoncito.
