I enjoyed Cole's Pov of him meeting Ali.
The wedding scene was so damm cute, but her dress was .... something...
It was really fun to see the difference between the original pitch and how the book turned out in the end. Really glad she didn't stick with the original names
Overall, it was pretty cute. I mostly read it for the wedding scene xD

Down the Rabbit Hole is the perfect bite‑sized plunge back into the White Rabbit Chronicles—fast, fierce, and loaded with the emotional tension that makes this world so addictive. Gena Showalter uses these short stories to peel back layers we didn’t even realize we were missing, giving us raw glimpses into the Slayers’ lives before everything explodes in the main series. The tone is set early when Ali admits, “Sometimes the truth is the scariest monster of all.”

Each story hits a different emotional note—grief, loyalty, fear, desire—and together they deepen the mythology and the relationships that drive the series. We see the Slayers at their most vulnerable and their most dangerous, and the added perspectives make the world feel bigger, darker, and more alive.

Cole’s intensity, Frosty’s grief, Kat’s fire, and Ali’s determination all shine here. The action is tight, the emotions sharp, and the character insights make the main novels hit even harder. Showalter proves she can deliver impact in just a few pages.

A fierce, atmospheric companion that enriches the entire series. Essential reading for anyone who loves Ali, Cole, and the beautifully twisted world they fight to survive.

I love anything Ali and Cole. So of course I love reading about their wedding. When it happened. Who was there. What she wore. Ali changed so much from the first book by the time Mad Zombie Party happened so her confidence in this short was really striking. But super sweet to hear their vows and see role reversals of sorts - she being the tough slayer now and Cole being the sweet boy in love. My only two problems with this are 1) why is the cover a brunette in a regular wedding dress since Ali is on all other books, except Kat in Zombieland, and her dress is a hybrid of the cover dresses (and being a slayer vibe as it deescribes) would have been so fun to create. And 2) the synopsis was - meh. Who cares. It’s so different from how the story turned out. I would have rather another Cole POV short.

Cole meets Ali was nice to read

Cole and Ali get married was annoying because I hate Milla and her being Ali’s new best friend and MAID OF HONOR pissed me off. Fuck her, she murdered Kat essentially (and got Frosty in the end, fuuuuuuck her!). I would have given this book 4 stars if it wasn’t Milla being so much there.

The og sinopse for Alice in Zombieland was interesting… I much prefer what the book became!

I miss this series. Somehow reading this book brought back so many details from the series and I'm really bad at remembering this much about books. Just goes to show you how much I enjoyed this world. I will be reading the series again.

E con queste due novella molto belle, ho ufficialmente concluso la serie! Mi è piaciuta molto, è una di quelle serie vecchio stile, simili alle prime della Armentrout! Intrattiene e ha una bella ship, oltre che un bel protagonista maschile ;)

How I love Gena Showalter!

Can’t wait for more of the evil queen, already hooked!
I’m still hoping you’ll add more to the white rabbit chronicles ( maybe, possibly, hopefully their children! ;) ) with Kat at least!

Amazing

This is an incredible little story about Cole and Ali, and his view on when they first met. I loved this story. Thank you Gena for writing it for us.
