I’m past desire. I’m past captivation. I’m past fixation. I’m in full-blown obsession territory here and I don’t see myself getting out anytime soon. I need this girl. I need to own her. To consume her fully. It’s all I can fucking think about.
Yea...ummm that just f*cking happened. Damn this was a good one. O.T.T. knows how to write a good OTT, gone for his girl, possessive hero. But Ashton? I'm not sure what can accurately describe him when he first sees Violet after 4 years. He last saw her when she was 14 y/o but now that she's an 18 y/o woman, he's stupified. I absolutely loved his reaction.

-so OTT, gone I mean he's gone gone for the h
-no cheating
-no abuse (just step mom being a major bitch to h)
-no OM drama
-mild OW drama (OW was trying to flirt with H but he was irritated with her because she was trying to take his attention away from h)

Want vs Need
The Becky person was just awful! Ashton and Violet were great! Ashton was very protective and went straight for what he needed. Violet stood up for herself and found her place in the world. Of course there’s plenty of hot times!

This was pretty fast pace and super insta.. was also kinda one sided (when she crushed on him when she was younger he didn't see her that way until he saw her at the wedding)
Violet has had a thing for her fathers best friend for ages.. even when he moved away for 4 years, seeing him again at her fathers wedding has sparks flying between the two some dirty steamy moments are shared and Ashton wont leave without her even when Violets father finds out.. and their is some drama in that..

Steamy age gap with a very possessive older man that sees his best friends daughter after 4 years and realizes she has blossomed and bloomed into a beautiful young woman. But Ashton becomes possessed and totally focused on making her his and taking her back to London with him.

4.5 stars. Fuck! Holy shit! This was awesome! Hot and hilarious! Can you believe that I was actually trembling? While reading the scene at the wedding when Ashton sees Violet. God, you'll think I'm crazy, but I really was trembling from too much emotion. It was like I was feeling what HE was feeling. I really felt a connection with both Ashton and Violet. I loved being in their heads so much! The story was beautifully written. So beautiful. I can't believe the book ended. I want more. God, I love Ashton!

I absolutely loved this viciously hot instalove story. The idea of the heroine, just doing her things, being a good person and all, evoking that level of passion and obsession in the hero is so moving. The struggle that he faces, the nanosecond of hesitation before his unfailing commitment to claiming his soulmate, the sheer determination to shielding her from sadness, all combine to create one heck of a bookboyfriend. This is one OTT book from the queen of OTT that I’ll be revisiting

Olivia T. Turner does it again with super steamy story that features both an OM/yw dynamic and the added taboo bonus of the hero, Ashton, being the best friend of the heroine’s father.
Violet has been in love with Ashton forever and they see each other again at her father’s wedding where Ashton has arrived from London to be the best man. This is the first time that Ashton is seeing Violet again after 4 years and his reaction is everything that I could want to see in a hero and his inner thoughts are a delicious read for anyone needing a jealous/possessive fix. Ashton at the reception during Violet’s dance with her father definitely fed my j/p fix, and the way he handled the scene with Violet’s father was unexpected, but so very very *right* for the circumstances. Speaking of the reception, I loved that Violet finally did more than endure the bad treatment she was getting from Becky and took action. It was soooo satisfying to see her get her comeuppance!
My one criticism is the misuse of a certain relationship title in the first chapter of the book. It took me a moment and a couple of more sentences to figure out what the correct relationship was, but it wasn’t difficult to figure out.
I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone interested in stories featuring age gap, father’s best friend, and a deliciously j/p alpha hero. It is a shorter length book with enough story and heat to keep it satisfying.

Y'all know I love a good age gap but this one missed the mark somewhere along the way...
Violet has been in love with her dad's best friend since she was a kid and now that she is 18 years old, she is hoping that they might have a chance. They haven't seen one another in four years but he is the best man at her dad's wedding, and it is clear the moment he sees her all grown up that she is exactly what he wants.
Seriously, I know that this isn't supposed to be the next great American novel. It was meant to be a fun and dirty read which it was, but the narration was a bit off for me. Beth Roeg didn't quite hit the mark for me for Violet and I can't put my finger on why, but it was just meh. Noel Harrison did all the delicious growls for the older alpha male so that part I was completely invested in.
If you want something fun to listen to kill a few hours, then I say go for it. You will get more than a touch of yummy and a delicious growly voice in your ears. Not much to lose honestly.

I did not like this book as much as the previous book by this author, Olivia T. Turner. So I would have to give this book a 3 out of 5-star rating. I liked it don't get me wrong and it was such a quick read that I read it in a span of less than three hours. I liked the female main character Violet she was strong and knew what she wanted from the beginning. While the male main character Ashton was a well-written and was determined to get what he wanted no matter the consequences. I recommend this author but I am not sure if I recommend this book.

Ashton sees his best friends daughter walk down the aisle and he is speechless. He knows she's the one for him, he's feeling possessive and doesn't want anyone touching her. What he doesn't realize is that she only has eyes for him. When he discovers she feels the same it's all over for them. They will be together no matter what, he just hopes his best friend, her father will approve.

I'm a sucker for first loves and this book gives it to me in spades.
Violet has been in love with Ashton since she knew what love was. After seeing her at her father's wedding Ashton is determined to make all her dreams come true.

Loved this short story Ashton and Violet are so good together he was very possessive of Violet I hated the vicious Becky I'm really pleased Violet's dad got to see what Becky was really like and to have his happy ending as well as these two didn't take me long to read it.A great story. I just loved Violet and Ashton's story. It was sweet and steamy and a fantastic balance of over the top/older man/younger woman /dad's best friend. Well written and hard to put down. You won't want to miss this entertaining and quick read. Another great read from Ms. Turner! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

I received an arc in exchange for an honest review. Violet's dad is getting remarried and she is excited to see his best friend Ashton. She has been in love with him since she was little. Ashton has seen Violet since she was a little girl but now she is a woman and he can't take his eyes off her. He is taking her back to London with him no matter what.
