DNFed - the first bit was great but it went downhill in the second half

After the halfway point of this book it went off the rails.
1. For a bunch of athletes- other than some runs, there was no athleticism.
2. “Blow her back out”. This phrase was used 89 too many times.
3. I still have no idea why Charlotte likes Chase other than the fact that he’s hot.
4. There was evidence that the AI used to write this was bad. It forgot who was speaking sometimes. And seemed to forget things that were mentioned.
5. I really feel like only AI would swing the story to where it went in the second half. There was no correlation whatsoever and the ending was just messy.

Saw an ad for one of those movies they make out of Galatea books and thought I’d read the book instead. Wrong move. None of this was realistic, reads like a self insert fanfic. The writing was confusing at times, one minute the FMC didn’t read romance novels and 10 chapters later she claims she does? One chapter claims it’s been 2 weeks since she saw the boys then another part of it says it was 4 days…

I stopped reading after her allergic reaction. Clearly raven did it so she’s miss her cooking class. And clearly raven is trying to get into the cooking school. I can handle predictable plots but not absolutely brain dead characters who are supposedly 21/22 but act like they’re 12?

No idea how it ends, and I’m not paying the $40+ it costs to read it on Galatea.

Finally it's on Goodreads! I really love this story, I have been checking if they have this series on Goodreads many times, and yesss! It's finally here. Everyone should read this and The Interns as well :) I have read Charlotte and the Seven Frat Brothers twice, once was at the time Jessica was writing it, then I reread it again recently to refreshen up my memory before continuing to The Interns😂 and I also love The Interns, so much surprise and fun♥️♥️♥️

I've stopped reading this novel at chapter 9. I simply couldn't push through it. What's frustrating is that the idea behind it was genuinely interesting, but the poor execution ultimately ruined it.

The inconsistencies—especially in Charlotte's character—were a major issue. On top of that, the characters' motivations felt incredibly shallow, making them act in ways that just seemed dumb. The antagonists, in particular, were so underdeveloped—they felt like generic, two-bit antagonists. It was genuinely tough to keep going.

I feel the plot idea was there, but this author couldn’t decide who she wanted her characters to be. Their actions and the things they say are opposite to what she tried to show her characters to be. The story would change course so often that it also makes it hard to follow.

I got through waiting to unlock chapter 11. I'm assuming this is AI slop. There's no continuity. Each scene is written to the height of melodrama, but often conflicts with something that was mentioned earlier. I knew better, but I thought I should see if there was anything to the Galatea app. There's not. It's slop that you either have to wait forever or pay to unlock the entire story. I started another one that was slightly better written, but it says the only way to unlock it is to pay, so I think I'm done with this.

Not what i was expecting. charlotte moves in the frat house and basically gains 6 older brothers and a boyfriend. This book has so much drama it’s like a soap opera. Entertaining and quick read.

The first 1/3 of the book was funny, not amazing but you could read it. But the rest... horrible. I was so annoyed by Charlotte, the things she did and how she acted.. Immature asf.. like girl you are in university that's just being dumb. And all the drama was putted in a really stupid way. I finished because I don't like to leave unfinished books but God... this was crap

Absolument horrible, rien n'a de sens, je n'ai même pas pu finir le livre. Au début du livre elle avoue sa virginité aux garçons puis soudainement après une grosse soirée arrosée elle le dit pour la première fois à son crush ?? Ensuite on nous fait croire qu'elle pense que Vincent a des sentiments pour elle puis après dans la ligne suivante elle lui dit qu'elle soutient son amour pour Dove ?? Ce livre est 100% écrit par AI ça se ressent directement dans la lecture, l'autrice n'a même pas pris la peine de relire derrière. Incohérences sur Incohérences. Elle est à deux doigts de mourir et puis deux secondes après tout va bien. Vraiment n'importe qui aurait pu écrire mieux

This was a childhood crush to HEA(ish - that cliffhanger!?) in college type book.

Was a decent book, moments were meh, others were absolutely hilarious with the guys acting like over protective brothers. Chase and Charlotte were cute. Definitely showed their age with the toxicity but grew throughout the book.

The cliffhanger at the end had me interested in the next book. I think if this had more polishing it could have been a 4 star maybe even 5 but because of that I settled on a 3.

DNF. I just can't sit through this book. I hate everything single character. This is so stupid. I'm so angry that it's not good. The storyline seemed really unrealistic but I chose to go along with it, you know. FOR THE VIBES. Yeah, there were no VINES at all. I couldn't even finish the damn book.

its only a 1 star cause it had plot potential but this was literally a wattpad story copy pasted into a book. there was no editing, alot of confusion on who was talking and missing information. and just poorly written in that sense. it was like I read a first draft of a book.

Charlotte is an idiot. SO is Chase. No idea why are are together. I still don't understand why they all ended up in NY for half the book. Honestly, this made no sense.
