3 Come and Sit on Daddy’s Lap Stars ⭐
From the title alone, My Boyfriend’s Daddy is self-explanatory. It was a quick little dirty read with a hint of kink and a spicy little epilogue that made the whole novella worth reading.
"So…he has a midlife crisis and you have daddy issues."
Rita is a young college student who has been ignored most her life and is now dating a douche. Spending vacation away with her boyfriend, things get a whole lot more interesting when she meets his dad.
It starts off innocently enough until Marcus finds himself spending time with his son’s neglected girlfriend. With Rita being shy and introverted while Freddy (the boyfriend) is living it up, she would much prefer hanging out with his dad…
"Need to see those titties," I growl and pull at the dark, hard nipples. I’m sure I’m hurting her, but her breath only becomes more ragged. My baby girl likes it rough. "On your knees!"
Yeh well, even I would’ve preferred spending time with Marcus, who was kind, considerate and an animal in bed. With a little drama at the end when their shenanigans came to light, this was an okay read!

A book I couldn't put down. I've read it in one go... and that is rare lately. It reminded me of Birthday Girl a lot, only a shorter version.
However I was irritated that even though Freddy (the boyfriend) has always been checking out other women, has hardly spared Rita a glance, has ditched her to go partying all the time, has disrespected her, cheated on her and wanted to break up with her, the bad guys ended up being only Rita and Marcus for cheating behind Freddy's back. And it drove me crazy because it has been simply sickening to see how he's treated her. They both have apologized to him, but he never apologized to her for his actions.

Wow, Such a remarkable filthy romance novel. Thank you to Leslie Anne from Puss ”N” Books for putting this under my nose. No thank you to the Son, I will take his Dad, thank you very much, and I have no shame in saying that after I read this. My Boyfriend’s Daddy is such a fun novella.

I thought I knew what to expect from the title and blurb of this novella, the first I've read from author Nova Flynn.
I was wrong. Around and through the sex, which is filthy and masterfully written, this story has a lot of heart. Rita deserves something good in her life, and Marcus is exactly what she needs.
Five "up on the table, now!" stars. Very recommended.

Wow, that kitchen sees a lot of action. I guess it really is the heart of the home.
I don’t appreciate the writer referring to Marcus as middle aged considering I’m the same age. 38 isn’t the middle, I refuse to believe that, lol.
Overall I liked this one a lot. Marcus is sexy as hell and I like that Rita is shy until a Marcus brings the best out of her. It was sweet and sexy as all get out.

It was okay.
Though I got a huge deja vu vibes while reading this. How come the falling for boyfriend's dad trope all have these similar settings? Temporarily living in the same house, the douchey boyfriend, the girl having old soul, the going behind the boyfriend/son's back, the girl having some family issues of her own. Legit, it was the same thing every single time.
Anyway, for a quick read, it was fine. It's fine.

Wow! This story is hot! Not only does it sizzle but the story is decent too. Yes, there’s some cheating by the MCs on the boyfriend but I didn’t feel bad about it at all. The boyfriend was a slimy, spoiled, cheater and got what he deserved. Marcus was amazingly hot. I highly recommend this book.

Instead of rushing the plot or over describing, Nova Flynn creatively left space for her readers to use their imagination. The blue dress scene in the book puts my thoughts on this into words better than any description I could write here. Nova Flynn is a magician of words!
My Boyfriend’s Daddy has a good plot and is not just a porno without pictures. It has all the ingredients of your typical forbidden romance: chemistry, intent, secrecy, passion... The one thing missing was that bitter feeling of angst. That elevated it to 5 stars for me. The world needs more happy, sexy books like My Boyfriend’s Daddy.

He invites her back home with him, and when she gets there, she is surprised by how drawn she is to his dad, Marcus. Marcus is also surprised at how attracted he is to Rita - his son's girlfriend. As Freddy continues to be more and more of a dismissive jerk, Marcus and Rita find themselves spending time together and really bonding. Of course at some point it all comes to a confrontation, but in the end it works out, and it's surprising who helps that resolution along.
Character development: Freddy was such a jerk, but Marcus was the perfect antidote. I loved how he built up her confidence, especially when he had her wear the blue dress 🥰

Usually, I'm into reading stories that break the rules, and this one was a total heart-melter. Rita was this timid girl who had her own kind of beauty. Freddy was this handsome dude, but he acted like a total jerk most of the time. Even though he was Rita's boyfriend, he never had her back when other girls were giving her a hard time. He didn't care about her feelings.
But then, one day, Rita met Freddy's dad, Marcus. He was a real man through and through - his looks were charming, and he had a strong, mature masculinity that comes with age and experience.
“You must be Rita.”
Cold dread is rushing through my body. Oh my God, this is Freddy’s dad!
Freddy’s dad, who has just seen more of my body than anyone has since I was a kid. Not even my older sister has seen any part of my breasts in years. This story is totally taboo, and it's a real naughty one too. Writing DDLG was really challenging, but I can't help but love the adorable relationship between the main characters. Although the storyline was predictable at times and had some cliché moments, I'd still rate it a solid 4.0 out of 5!

This is a really romantic story with hot sexy scenes. The love of the girlfriend, and the father had was so rare and yet precious . The way Nova told this story is interesting and lovely. My 1st book by this author, and I hope many more with this author. Fantastic story and sizzling hot.

So - I skimmed this one. I wanted to get to the good parts but the story itself was only OK. I wasn't crazy about Freddie and his cheating and drunken ways annoyed me. Marcus was very appealing and the scenes between him and the MC kept me captivated. Just a quick side read late at night while trying to sleep.

I received a ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. I loved it, interesting characters with the perfect amount of steam mixed in with the romance. A step above the storyline of most in this genre. I recommend this book.

4.25⭐️ I actually reaaaally enjoyed this. It was a mini Birthday Girl! Her jerk of a boyfriend takes her home to his dad’s place and there’s an instant connection between her and the dad. But it’s more than lust. I loved the way these two connected. The way Marcus actually saw her and gave her everything that Freddy, his son, couldn’t. I liked the plot line too and I’m glad they all had a HEA. There was a beautiful and unexpected depth to this story.

College basketball star and playboy Freddy starts dating introverted Rita, and brings her home over the break to meet his Dad. The dad, Marcus, ends up having a lot more in common with Rita. They hit it off and fall in love. They believe that although they've fallen for each other, she will leave with Freddy when break is over, and M & R will probably never see each other again.
Marcus is not completely a recluse, but he prefers his alone time. He's also got a little bit of a daddy kink and is great in bed, of course. :)
It was a good forbidden romance story, but with one pretty big issue, for me (this might be a spoiler):
I don't really understand why R&M felt so guilty about their "forbidden" relationship. The boyfriend Freddy admits to his dad pretty early on that he's only dating Rita to rehab his playboy image, because professional scouts prefer a mature, clean cut image. Rita doesn't know. She *does* figure out that Freddy is cheating.
I felt like, sure, it would be an awkward conversation, but they shouldn't feel like shit about it. They needed to confront things head on, tell Freddy they know he intends to dump Rita, and they know the relationship isn't real, and they have fallen in love.
Instead, Marcus and Rita intend to say nothing to Freddy, and to never see each other again after break. And she actually does leave, while Marcus wastes a bunch of time feeling like the world's worst father for "betraying" Freddy. (Obviously they end up with an HEA, but that's at the end, after an entire book filled with unnecessary guilt.)
If Freddy actually loved Rita, all this guilt would make a lot more sense. But he doesn't. He's actually angrier that she would have sex with Marcus but not with him, he didn't have a broken hearts or anything like that.

This book was definitely what I needed to get out of my reading slump, a good daddy romance!
I loved seeing how Rita and Marcus's relationship evolved, especially with the added tension of the fact Rita is his sons girlfriend. I couldn't help wanting these two to be together, because honestly when you read this you will question why on earth Rita is even with Freddy.
This is a super easy, quick and enjoyable read. I definitely recommend if you're a lover of a good age gap romance! (Oh and the sex scenes in this are hotttttt)
