From New York Times bestselling author Kristen Proby comes an all new stand alone novel in her beloved, With Me In Seattle series!

Elena Watkins is used to getting what she wants. She grew up the daughter of one of the most powerful mafia bosses on the west coast, an indulged, rich girl who got away with everything.

Except the love of her life.

Archer was the king of their high school. His charming grin swept her off her feet. Days after graduation, they ran away together and eloped. Elated to spend the rest of their lives together, Archer and Elena were on cloud nine.

Until Elena’s father discovered what they’d done.

He swore to keep them apart, even if it meant taking Archer’s life. Knowing what her father was capable of, Elena left Archer, and never looked back. The pain of leaving him would pale to the pain of losing him.
That’s what she’s told herself every day for twelve years. But now her father is dead, and Archer is back. Finally, they should be able to piece the broken pieces of their love back together.

But the mafia has a long memory.

At first, I thought the cover was very unfitting for a mafia romance, and then a few chapters in, I realized this book read more like a cheesy chick-lit with some diluted mafia themes thrown in here and there... so, I guess the cover is fitting after all??

Honestly, I think this book had great potential. I liked the beginning but after the heroine goes on the run, I kind of lost interest. I personally didn't like the heroine, some of her decisions didn't really make sense to me. Worst of all, she wasn't particularly consistent as a character. And the hero was kind of bland. I sure as hell wouldn't trust him to save me from the mafia!

Apart from what I mentioned above, this wasn't necessarily a bad book, I just don't think it delivered in what it was promising. Or maybe someone should just rewrite the blurb...

You Belong With Me is the 14th book in Kristen Proby's 'With Me In Seattle' series and I'll be honest... I haven't quite kept up with the books. I realized I haven't read books 9-13 (oops) but I'm fairly certain it's okay to read this as a stand-alone. I love the earlier books in this series, and this one was fine, but it didn't hit me the same. Maybe because it was on the shorter side, maybe the mafia story, I'm not sure. It wasn't bad by any means, just an average read for me.

I luvd this book. I've alway been a huge fan of Kristen books but I was a lil nervous when I heard she was goin to start a mafia connection. But I have to say I didn't need to at all. This book was an introduction to the Martinelli Family and I'm dying for more.

Elena is a great character she is so strong I luvd get from the start. Being the daughter of a Mafia boss isn't easy and not wanting to be a part of the life is even worst. She knows what it's like but she never thought her life would nearly be ruined by it. She wanted a simple life and to be happy with her young luv Archer. They luvd each other so much nothing could year them apart well she thought no one could.

Archer wow just wow I think he has become my favourite Montgomery. This guy can deal with anything anyone throws at him. All he needs is Elena she is his life and no matter who or what gets in his way he will have his way, even Elena won't get in his way.

I would highly recommend this book the story was just brilliant from start to finished. I was dying to know what was goin happen. Like I said this was a great introduction to the mafia series and I'm dying to see how it all works out. The Martinelli boy's are not to be messed with and they are all crazy but super hot I need these men in my life. I just know this is goin to be a great spin off to the series.

5 ‘ You’re Worth It’ Stars

Oh wow!!! You Belong With Me is a heart palpitating, passion filled blend between the most perfect of second chances and the most taunting of mafia romances. Truly the BEST of both worlds packed up in one EPIC love story! Mind and heart gripping in every way!

Ahhh, the feels… Even as a die hard fan of Ms. Proby’s writing I was not prepared for this book, because right there on page one, the very Prologue, it wrecked me and brought me to tears – the emotional kind ones, lol – talk about jumping right into the emotional rollercoaster of the mafia lifestyle…

No, the pain of losing Archer forever is far worse than any physical pain could ever be.

So get ready for THE journey! The pain, the heartbreak that we feel right off the bat are just a sneak peek into the rainbow of emotions this book, and this couple will make us feel. Elena and Archer may very well be my new favorite KP couple.

“This could be so dangerous for you.”
“Not being with you is dangerous for me.”

“The risk of being with you is better than the agony of being without you.”

After being torn apart by Elena’s dad, and ten years of separation, a decade of running for E, Archer finally found her and nothing will keep him apart from her now.

What I adored the most, really the very best?! The way Archer had been not only relentlessly searching for her after finding out why she had broken his heart that many years ago – moment we got to witness in the previous books of the series – but the way he was willing to do ANYTHING to win her back. So Alpha, and so very ‘ultimate book boyfriend’!

“We’re as complicated as it gets, honey.”

“This is a very expensive courtship,” she says, swirling the wine in her glass.
“You’re worth it,”

So, so many swoon worthy moments in this ‘courtship’ that I had a hard time picking up just a few from them.

Add to that an incredibly strong and resilient heroine in Elena, and it truly was a winning duo in this couple. The setting (the small coast side town of Bandon, Oregon) was so romantic and intimate that made us focus on THEM, and that just made their reconnection that more believable and intense. Elena and Archer gave us plenty of scorchingly hot moments yes, but also deeply emotional ones too.

Even with the mafia element and the conflict and internal battle it created, I never once felt too overwhelmed by its ‘darkness’, au contraire, I just felt it added positively to the intrigue and made their love and connection shine that much brighter, because they were willing to fight together for it, they had lost too much time already, after all…

We were both robbed of it. We lost so much time. We lost each other.

“You’re everything. It feels like I’ve loved you my whole life.”

Sigh, Archer and Elena were just outstanding, the relationship was just so genuine and raw, that Ms. Proby’s usual maturity of the characters stood out even more, because they themselves could see how different they were from the young adults they were one decade ago, but one thing never changed – in this case it just escalated – , the bone deep love they felt for one another.

Not only the dreamy relationship of the main couple was everything I dream for my second chance romance reads, but all their connections with the side characters including some of the other Montgomerys – and yes, though we don’t get to view much of them, they were there for them too – just added that much richness to the world building.

You think the fucking mafia is scary? Try fucking with the Montgomerys.

Kristen Proby truly outdid herself with You Belong With Me, with not only her usual brilliant and realistic story telling talent, this intensely emotional journey with Elena and Archer, introduced us to a whole new and tantalizing KP Mafia world that left me BEGGING for more. I can’t wait for Carmine, Rocco and Shane’s own books, for which I know I’ll be counting down the days. And like that wasn’t teasing enough, that ending with the hint of Shawn’s story, omg, I’m soooooo here for all these coming Proby’s gems!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

“The heart knows what it wants, E, no matter how old it is.”

We’re as entangled, emotionally and physically, as we’ve ever been. It’s intoxicating. Addicting. And I don’t have to give him up, now or ever.

“Is she worth it?”

“And more.” I tap my glass to his. “She’s worth everything.”

I gave this book 2 stars. 2 stars. This is the second book in row out of this series that I gave 2 stars and I am sad af about it.

I am devastated. I didn't like the book before this one but what I liked about it was the glimpse we got on the couple in this novel. I wanted this book about Archer and Elena in her mafia family so badly. It broke my heart how disappointing it turned out to be.

What did disappoint me?
Elena Watkins, daughter of a Mafia Boss, wasn't really a round character.
First of all: Watkins? She is Italian, the rest of the family is called Martinelli. Why choose an English name? Watkins my ass.

Archer was nice, protective but not at one point in the story did he take the Mafia seriously. He was always like "I will protect you, baby." Yeah, do that. Protect her from the Mafia without having a gun, talking to the police or being into law enforcement. He was freaking real estate mogul.

Which leads me to the next point. Why does everyone have to be rich? I. Don't. Get. It.

Did we see our favorite characters again? No we didn't. The only known characters were Archer's sisters and their husbands and Matt Montgomery. Where is Will? Where is Caleb?

The big problem was ridiculously solved. It was a shame. Nothing I could believe could happen in real life.

What did this book teach me?
The mafia men are bad people. But not so bad that you couldn't like them. They always have a good heart.
A good heart , my ass. The author clearly didn't read a single article about the real Mafia...

But if you like a quick read and don't want it to be realistic this book is nice. It's just always the same with Kristen's books. The characters are likeable, the story is okay and easy to read. My problem (besides the unrealistic story) is that it is always the same. Just exchange names, jobs and key problem and you won't tell the books apart.

I will continue reading this series. Maybe because I want to torture myself. Maybe I still have hope for a series that I loved. Please, let the next books be better than the last two..

Please don't take personally. It is my opinion. If you liked this book (a lot clearly did) go for it!

3 3/4 "Sacrafice" Stars!

This book really starts off with a bang. Really intense and for a quick moment I wonderd if I had actually picked up the wrong book. I mean KP went for it with the horrible Mafia father.

I really loved Archer. He had me from the previous books and Elena was gutsy, if not a little naive but I really wanted them to be together. I enjoyed their story, but I'm afraid it didn't keep up that intensity KP started it off with. Also, though the family and friends were present, it wasn't like her normal big happy meddlesome family and friends involvement. Well family was present, but Mob family.

Anywho I liked it. I'm sure I'll read at least the first of the upcoming spinoff Mafia series. Happy reading!

Wow....this was so much like a Kristen Proby story but it was also different from what we have come to expect.

There were some parts I had to remind myself that Kristen was the author. She added kind of a dark and gritty side to her writing in this book. I enjoyed this side of her writing and I can’t wait to read more about this Mafia family she has introduced us to.

I have loved the With Me In Seattle series from the very first book, but I think You Belong With Me might just be my favorite of the series. She gave us everything we have come to expect with this series but also added some suspense to keep the reader on the edge of their seat.

You Belong With Me is the 14th book in this series, but can be read as a complete standalone. Although Archer and Elena’s story is started/setup in the book before it. You don’t have to read that book to enjoy this book. This story is told in Dual POV. I thought the flow and pace of the story was well written. There are interconnected characters and you do see past couples in each story, but you will not feel lost if these books are read out of order. I loved Archer and Elena’s love story, I think you will too!!!

In this book we follow Archer and Elena. Archer and Elena were in love when they were younger, but when her family tears them apart….Elena has no choice but to disappear. Now 12 years later Archer has found out where Elena is and is determined to get her back. But what happens when Elena’s family finds out?? Will they get their HEA?? Read this intriguing and thrilling second chance romance to find out.

As always I loved seeing other Montgomery’s in this story, but I also loved getting to know Elena’s family. Both of these families have such a strong bond. I also loved seeing how Kristen set up the premise of a spin off series coming next year!!!

As I have always said….when Kristen writes a book it is the perfect getaway for your mind and soul. I am always swept up in her stories and characters lives. I am a huge fan of her With Me In Seattle series. Every time I read one of the books in this series, I feel like I am coming home. I love the Montgomery clan!!!

If you are a fan of Kristen’s books then you need to read this book!!! Add this one to your TBR list NOW!!!

A second chance romance that started a little slow for me but then ramped up towards the end. It’s been a while since I have read Kristen Proby and I must admit it felt like coming home. Looking forward to reading more from her.

A different spin for the typical mafia romance book.
Quite enjoyed how the story was presented, and the fast-paced writing made it easy to finish this book.
Loved the hero, Archer. After 12 years he wasn’t going to give up on her love for Elena not for anyone or anything. He had some balls of steel in those last chapters.

But I have to add that Elena felt to me like she had “horchata en las venas”. Her reactions to some things were underwhelming and expected more from her.

This is a really sweet read. A second-chance-romance with a mafia twist, it’s a beautifully romantic story with a bit of suspense, and I really liked it.

A part of the With Me in Seattle series, this is the story of Archer Montgomery (one of the cousins of the original group of characters and brother to Anastasia from the last book in the series, Dream With Me). As this is the 14th book in the series, there is some character crossover, but you can easily read this one (or any of these books) as a standalone.

Archer and Elena fell in love as teenagers. They married in secret, but were torn apart when her father found out. A powerful mob boss, he had his own plans for Elena and he tortured her and threatened Archer’s life unless she broke it off. Desperate to save the life of the man she loves, Elena did just that, and then went on the run to hide from him and his domination over her life. For 12 years she has lived in secret, moving around when necessary, and living the quiet life she always dreamed of, but she has done it without love, never moving on from Archer. And then, one day out of the blue, he finds her.

Archer was left broken-hearted when Elena broke it off, and he has spent their years apart searching for her. Now he’s found her, and he’s determined not to let her go again.

“You’ve been the love of my life since I was a junior in high school … You’re everything, E, even …after all this time. And that won’t ever change.”

What I love most about the books in this series, is that the love stories are so functional! The characters talk to each other, they don’t hide how they’re feeling, they lay it all out there and deal with things head on, and it’s so refreshing to read! So when Archer and Elena are reunited and don’t hold anything back, I was so excited! Of course, they have things they need to talk about, and Elena is still worried about Archer’s safety, but they still love each other fiercely, and their reconnection is emotional, sexy and really freaking swoony.

“It feels like I’ve loved you my whole life.”

But even though Elena’s father is dead, she’s still considered a mafia princess, and the mafia never forgets. This brings a suspenseful element to the story, and sets up a series of spin-off books for Elena’s cousins, all working for the family. I’m not a reader of mafia books, and I’ve gotta say, I found it somewhat disturbing. It works for Archer and Elena’s story, but on the whole, I’m not a fan of mafia storylines, so I didn’t love this aspect the book – totally a personal opinion. Proby wrote it well.

This is a quick read, but I was easily swept up in the romance, and I really enjoyed Archer and Elena’s story. Gorgeously romantic, sweet and sexy with some fun moments, it was everything that I expect from this much-loved series.

3.5 stars.

Archer Montgomery is lost without Elena, he still longs for her even though she broke his heart twelve years ago. Elena Watkins feels the same way but she knows that staying away from Archer is keeping him alive. These two belong together but someone had other plans for them.

YOU BELONG WITH ME starts off with a young love that was torn apart and then brings us a great second chance romance that has a ton of suspense to it.

“You’ve been the love of my life since I was a junior in high school and I saw you sitting with Stasia in the cafeteria. You’re everything, E, even after all this time. And that won’t ever change.”

**Synopsis:**
When Elena tells her mob boss father that she married Archer, a man she loves, he takes a whip to her back, brands her and tells her she is to marry a man from another mafia family. If she doesn’t, dear old dad will kill Archer. So, to save him, Elena tells Archer it’s over. Then she somehow disappears for twelve years.
Ultimately Archer finds her, but she has to come out of hiding and contend with the mob family before they can find their HEA.

** The following are my thoughts about this book: **
* * geez....her dad is something else 😬

* * it was rather two dimensional. No great depth or character growth

* * Archer’s insistence that he could protect Elena against her mafia family cane off as naive. I kept thinking.....ok Archer, maybe you have a badass family that can swoop in and kick some ass too. But then, nope. No family that swooped in and saved the day. Instead Archer got the crap beat out of him because of his relationship with Elena. He talked a big game but had nothing to back up the talk.

* * i was confused about this mafia family. The beginning with her dad it was awful, then her grandmother (the matriarch of the family) protected and hid Elena for 12 years, but then her cousins and her uncle (who she thought cared about her) ultimately tracked her down and beat up her boyfriend and then everybody lives happily ever after? What? 🤨 I don’t know, something was just off in the whole plot and the execution.

* * this was a pretty short book and felt a bit incomplete or rushed

**Overview:**
- Trigger warning: small scene with abuse and another where some gets beat up
- Setting: Bandon, Oregon
- Do you need to read previous books in series?: No. there were some character appearances that I’m guessing were from other books, but I didn’t feel lost by not reading previous books.
- POV: Dual POV
- Tropes: sort of mafia, second chance
- Who is the hero? Archer Montgomery, real estate mogul (age: around 30)
- H likable? Yes.
- Who is the heroine? Elena Watkins, mafia family member (age: 30).
- h likable? Yes.
- h virgin? No
- First time they kiss: 40%
- First time they sleep together: 51%
- First time they say I Love You 74%
- steamy? yes. Descriptive bedroom scenes
- OW/OM drama? No
- H/h cheat? No
- Time apart? 12 years. They were with other people during those 12 years
- Did I skip pages? No
- Big secrets? No
- Did I cry? No
- Did I laugh? No
- Did I swoon? Not really. Archer is a nice guy but I didn’t really have any swoony moments
- Cliffhanger? No
- HEA? Yes
- Epilogue? 2 months later
- Recommend? it was meh

You Belong With Me is book #14 in one of my all-time-fav series, With Me In Seattle. I thoroughly enjoyed Elena & Archer's story. Kristen Proby has hit the nail on the head once again with this emotionally compelling, steamy and swoon-worthy romance involving two amazing characters you can help but fall in love with. The chemistry and love between these two shines with fiery passion.

“The risk of being with you is better than the agony of being without you.”

“You’re everything. It feels like I’ve loved you my whole life.”

"We’re as entangled, emotionally and physically, as we’ve ever been. It’s intoxicating. Addicting. And I don’t have to give him up, now or ever."

Packed with thrills, suspense and mob action, this second chance romance is a real page-turner. This is also a great introduction to Kristen’s new Mafia family, the Martinellis. This brand new series With Me in Seattle Mafia is going to be a hit I can tell and I can't wait to read book one telling the story of Carmine. Overall rating : A solid 4 stars!

I was more than ready for Elena and Archer's story, and it couldn't have been more perfect! The story itself was the perfect mix of light and dark (Montgomerys and mafia for the win)! I love the second chance between two strong and loyal characters. I cannot wait for more!

Kristen Proby can always be counted on to give me a sweet and swoony comfort read- here with a mafia twist that has ample hearts and heat and large dashes of suspense.

I loved the premise of this- coming in with our hero and heroine later in their romance, after they grown apart, with our hero Archer finding his way back to Elena and both of them facing all the obstacles in their world to confront their past and find a way back to each other in this second chance romance. There is a price to pay for past decisions- the mafia never forgets, and the cost of betrayal is blood.

Despite the mafia spin on this second chance romance, once these two find their way back together their fight isn’t with each other but with their families- so we get to watch them be together, realize they never stopped loving each other, and they fight together. Proby has such a keen ability to weave in heavy elements but keeping the romance light and swoony at the same time, and here it comes in the form of the sweet and heartfelt moments that come from these two rediscovering their relationship.

This book is about love and loyalty- what you are willing to do to protect those you love- all the swoony feels!

This is an ARC review. All opinions are solely my own.

You Belong With Me by Kristen Proby is book 14 of the With Me In Seattle series. This series is everything that I look for in a series. I want intertwined friends and family. Even after 14 books in a series it is still fresh. While these book are a series they are definitely stand alone novels. The reader does not need to have read the other books to follow along.

Elena and Archer tried to be together as soon as they graduated. Her mafia boss father had different ideas. Elena left to keep Archer safe. Now that 12 years has passed Archer has found her.

I love Archer’s family in this book. They are so supportive. I love the way Archer courts Elena after he’s found her again. The mysterious mafia twist and turns kept my heart racing.

There were several triggers in this book that were dealt with delicately while still showing their strong impact.

I can’t wait to read more from Kristen Proby.

I really enjoyed the story of Elena and Archer, unfortunately, when you listen to an audio book, the narration also plays a part in how much you enjoy a story and this time, Sebastian York did a not so impressive job with the different male voices, specifically that of Carmine Martinelli. There was almost zero difference in their voices and Carmine played a somewhat significant role in this story so it threw me off too many times and my listening enjoyment just plummeted. *shrug* He's never been the best at different voices in my opinion, but this was too much...

You Belong With Me is the fourteenth book in the With Me in Seattle series by Kristen Proby. Each book in the series is a stand-alone and unless you have a very detailed family tree, you will get lost with all these characters. Thankfully, most of the Montgomery's don't appear for a while and it's just Elena and Archer.

Second chance romances are tricky for me and I usually don't like them, especially when one or both parties say that they had not been celibate or even worse, sleeping with half the country's population and then saying that they have been in love with the other party this whole time. In this book, both of them slept with other people and I honestly didn't mind. The prologue was definitely more dark than I expected and it made me realize that Elena and Archer couldn't be together at the time and why it was hard for them to be together 12 years later.

Which brings me to another important thing. Elena has ties with the mafia and it was very unexpected. The same thing applies to the third point of view that was popping up. As it turns out, all that had to do with a new series the author will release and I have to say that I am already hooked! The whole mafia thing made the book darker than I could have imagined a book in this series would be, but in the end, I was not disappointed.

The romance between the main characters was good and I never doubted that these two stopped loving each other. Archer is a very stubborn man and once he found Elena he wasn't willing to give her up which was very sweet. I found the book very enjoyable and I would recommend it.

A second-chance romance that will grip you from the first page. Kristen Proby blends heart-stopping mafia action with her signature feel-good swoons in a story that will have you holding your breath and rooting for Archer and Elena’s happily ever after with all your heart.

Mafia based stories are not my favourite because of the twisted sense of family and loyalty, especially with the females of the family being used as bargaining chips, such a patriarchal misogynistic and brutal society.

So for Elena to elope with Archer at 18 was a direct violation of everything her mafia boss of a father had set for her. The consequences, ruthless and heartbreaking for both Elena and Archer.

Through the years neither Elena or Archer has been able to move on from the other, it is as if their souls are tethered together ❤ Even while Elena had to disappear for her own safety she always found a way to check on Archer; which leads to Archer discovering this piece of vital information and tracking Elena down despite the danger he may be placing them both in.

The chemistry between Archer and Elena is so powerful it combusts from the beginning of their reunion. I loved the way in which Archer was able to wear Elena down with his calm presence and immovable faith in their relationship.

However, in order to be truly free, there is a price to be paid to the ‘family’. I couldn’t quite grasp the necessity of this apart from the need to keep their reputation intact. Elana’s cousins were intriguing and I think we are going to be seeing them again in the future with the tidbits Kristen peppered through the narrative.

5 Stars!

Kristen Proby was one of my very first go-to, one-click when you see their name no matter what it is romance authors and not much has changed in all those years. We've come a long way since Come Away with Me, where it all started and she has only gotten better, more addicting.

She surely knows how to write the most epic, beautiful, unforgettable, irresistible love stories that just stick with you forever and never, ever let you go.

The With Me in Seattle series continues with another explosive, unputdownable standalone second chance installment that'll give you all of the feels right from the very start and wrap you up tight by the very last page.

You Belong with Me was absolutely EVERYTHING in every single moment and I couldn't put this journey down for one single second. Elena and Archer hooked me hard and hooked me fast and their journey.... gah y'all, absolute perfection in the most imperfect, complicated yet unforgettable kind of ways.

I've been a huge fan of Mrs. Proby and her infamous With Me in Seattle series, have been since the VERY beginning and I am CRAZY excited to see what is up next as it continues in such THE. BEST. WAYS.

I highly recommend this book y'all.

I haven't read one of these books in so long and I am not sure what was stopping me. I love Kristen and this book was no different. Archer was completely devastated when Elena left him after they eloped at 18 and he had no idea why she left. It was young love, but real. She is the daughter of a well known mob boss and her life was in danger and she left to protect herself as well as Archer. Archer had really never moved on so when he found out why Elena left him and that she really did love him, he set out on a search to find her. He was unwavering in his love for this woman, no matter what happened to him. He really would go through anything to prove his love.
This book was darker than a lot of other of Kristen's books and I loved the darkness. Sign me up for mafia books and a little blood. I'm all in. This was a great quick read and it had a really amazing hero.

I get so excited anytime I get to go back to The Montgomery Family and all their cousins and friends. And I'm super stoked that You Belong to Me is the launch of Kristen's new Mafia Series.

Elena and Archie were high school sweethearts, who thought getting married would allow them to escape Elena's family - who are reigning Mob family in the Seattle area. But the only thing it did was enrage her father and ultimately making Elena ghost Archie in order to save his life.

Now after 8 years apart Archie has found Elena, who has been in hiding since the death of her parents. And even though she's happy to see Archie, she must send him away. Archie has other plans that involve him never leaving her side.

This book is a great crossover of the With Me in Seattle gang and the new series coming from Kristen in 2021 starting with Underboss. The book is a three-person POV including Elena's cousin Carmichael, with whom Underboss will be about.

I loved You Belong with Me and Elena and Archie are the perfect fit for each other - even after the years apart. I loved both character's devotion and protectiveness over each other. Such an easy book to get lost in and can't wait for the new series next year!

You belong with Me by Kristen Proby
“Finally! 5 stars”

Okay, so I’m a huge fan of the With me in Seattle series, so I feel like I’ve been waiting for Archers story FOREVER! And here it is! *Cue girly scream*
Archer fell in love and married young only for her to go MIA. She came from a family with questionable ties. Ever since, he’s been looking for her. He knows his wife would never willingly leave him. When he finds her, will he still love her? Has he been living with ghosts of his past and let them shadow his time with her? Only one way to find out.
Proby just has a way with words. It’s not fair. She pulls you in and doesn’t let you up until those two words at the end. You belong with Me was everything I could have hoped for it to be. I just hope Proby gives us another sneak peak of this couple later on again.

The next installment in the With Me in Seattle series is finally here and Kristen Proby does not disappoint with her first foray into the Mafia family genre! You Belong With Me has all the hallmarks of a With Me in Seattle book; family, laughs, & lots of love...but there's so much more too. The suspense and edge of danger will keep you turning the pages from the moment you sit down. Plus, the new family members introduced will make sure the series continues for quite some time.

But I'm getting ahead of myself...because we finally have Archer & Elena's story!! I've been starved for more about them since we got a small nugget of their backstory in Dream with Me and I'm just blown away. They endured so much to finally earn their happily ever after... and it was absolutely perfect...I'm just so freaking giddy!!

"You're everything. It feels like I've loved you my whole life."

And he has!! Since they were in high school. And even the years apart didn't dull that all consuming need for one another because it was instantly ignited as soon as they reconnected. It's a love so strong, so fierce, you'd die to protect it, and it's perfect. Absolutely perfect. ❤

2-3 disappointed stars. Rounding it up to 3 stars is me being generous. This was over the top ridiculous and sappy. The heroine is so terrified for her life from her mob family after 12 years in hiding she goes and does something incredibly stupid. And then, ruh roh, you guessed it, she's in danger. Then the unbelievably ridiculous whole mob thing with her and her boyfriend. Sheesh! I was skimming like crazy to get this train wreck over with. Boy did this book stray from the Montgomery family series. Think we're running out of Montgomery's and straying too far down the family tree to find interesting stories.
