These are the first books of the Tarzan Novels. It shows the growth of Tarzan from infant to adulthood. The first book is very reminiscent of Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book”. However, over time, I feel that not only have the books NOT stood the test of time, but you also wonder why Tarzan stayed in Africa. Take your title and leave.

Sometimes the stories seemed “a flight of fancy” and hard to believe. With no external aid, Tarzan learns perfect English, for example. After a while, the stories kind of became boring, you follow the plot, it build up, AND......... Everything is resolved in one chapter!!!
